Thanks bro. I've been searching ooo. If you see the link pls share ontarioissauga: I think he has the right to include her as they are orphans. Having the proper papers with their past dates are cool. He should read up this. I think I have seen it before... Even children of dependent children are legal derivatives. |

Thanks bro. I'm looking for a way he can include her in his application at the moment, instead of the sponsor later route. joo2018: I don't think "guardian" will fly. If his parents had adopted he, then she is his sister and he will be able to add her as a sibling so he can sponsor her later. Adopt her again? I don't know how that works. |

Hi guys, please lawyers, seniors I need some advice. A friend of mine wants to start his EE application, his parents are currently late. They had legally adopted a girl about 7 years ago, complete with all the adoption papers. So now he's her guardian/brother/sole relative. She's about 10 years old now. Please does he need to legally adopt her again to include her in his application as his dependent? or just indicate that he's her guardian? Thanks. |

Hello cochtrane, since WES already has your transcripts and has been evaluated document by document, I don't think WAEC will be required. You can start the upgrade, then see if WES will list it as required documents. The WAEC is not really that stressful, once its sent to WES, they always confirm without you following up or calling anybody there. I'm evaluating my BSc as well for this same purpose. cochtrane: Hello Everyone,
For anyone who recently upgraded their ECA with WES for APEGA certification, does one need to send secondary school results (WAEC) for this upgrade? |

Thanks immensely. salford1: I do not know much about the job prospects for Environmental Engineers or Techs; however, I know that Canada is big on making sure that all engineering projects/constructions have very minimal impact to the environment. You might want to check indeed to have a feel of the job market. If you are interested in attending a college, google Polytechnics Canada. Employers would often prefer grads from schools on that list. For uni, preferably the top two in any province would be okay. |

Hi everyone,
Seniors thanks so much for the selfless service you guys do here. I've learnt so much from all the contributions, you all deserve some accolades..
@Salford I always look forward to reading your posts and I enjoyed the Engineer vs technologist/technician informative series from you @einsteino and others, which made me recalculate my initial plans.
I just got my COPR and intend to land in Ontario very soon, Please I wanted to ask, which province (Ontario or Alberta) would have the best job prospects for environmental engineering?
Most of my work experience has been in construction, drilling waste and environmental firms though my degrees are in Agricultural and environmental engineering, I'm thinking of doing a 1 year college diploma or 1 year college graduate certificate program to have a Canadian education, network or have work experience by co-op placements. I've seen some colleges like Durham College, Conestoga College and Niagara college with programs in environmental technology/engineering, are there some colleges that carry 'more weight' than others in the job market? what would you advice please?
Thanks immensely as I await your feedback |

If what you mean is when filling your eAPR, thats post ITA, attach your undergraduate certificate together with all you mentioned. Depending on your NOC, the date on your undergraduate degree shows the date you were qualified to practice which you filled in your application. Jennypharb1: I know this has been answered before I just don't remember the response. When filling my application I intend to upload just my ECA report, ielts trf and masters cert. Is there any need to upload undergraduate degree certs since they were not evaluated? |

Nothing to worry about. As far as your ECA number is correct pre-ITA, thats all that matters. I actually made same mistake. As Tojued suggested, correct it post-ITA, then do a short LOE saying that you erroneously indicated "YES THIS IS MY CURRENT STUDY" during application for Express Entry. They'll see from your msc certificate that you finished in 2017 bepop: Please help me out. I have gone thru the thread but not sure of seeing answers. What do i do to post ITA mistake. I finished my masters in 2017 but i dont know how i filled it as ongoing study. Same for hubby as well. We have evaluated already with WES and we have our certificate. Can i rectify it somehow or i should just decline ITA. . Quite a sad mistake but it doesn't affect our points tho. Thank u.
I think the error was when we were filling and we saw "is this your current degree". We thought it meant current highest degree. Instead, it appeared as an ongoing course. |
