I wouldn't say over-educated women make bad wives, what I'd say is, the higher the level of education a woman has, the more the probability of her marriage failing.

Now this is a probability, apparently there will be some women who are well educated, rich and still keep their homes.

But there is a reason why, many men marry down (I mean, they marry women whom they are financially and educationally higher than) .
It is the law of nature, a man must so seek to earn the wives respect, this is one of the key ingredients of a happy home...

Very few women will respect men whom they earn higher than and are more educated than.

Women will say the men have a low self esteem for seeking women who are below them in societal and financial level, but it is just nature. Even in the west, most men marry down, just very few men marry up.

Now, it is possible that having a higher education might mean , the woman has a more stressful job, or is able to relate with "better" men at her place of work men who probably earn far higher than her and her husband.
And naturally, she may start to subconciously become attracted to those men, some call them men in power.

I have worked in Nigerias financial industry for a while and I will tell you one of the most promiscuous species of women are those that work in the financial sector, they meet with powerful men by virtue of their education and grow at work and the husbands might start to appear like a nuisance to them, especially if he is not the kind earning much.

This is why men prefer to marry down, cos the intelligent ones understand that power and affluence is a difficult attraction for women to ignore and some prefer to go for women who they are sure will adore them, regardless of how little they bring to the table....

The Chinese are doing great things in the world today because there educational foundation is among the best in the world. Check the ivy league university admissions for engineering and other STEM courses for both graduate and post graduate program and you will be shocked the whites no see there back.
A close associate of mine was applying for masters to two ivy league universities in the US. The guy had first class in engineering from a Nigerian university. He is very smart, has represented Nigeria overseas in science competition as a secondary School students in sciences, He was good.

But he confided in me that when he checked the the scores for GMAT and other requirements for the ivy league application, he was surprised that the Chinese students were offered automatic admissions because there scores in the GMAT and others were perfect scores that's 100 over 100. They gapped almost every one from the world.
He was shocked and told me no wonder the Chinese are taking over the world. It all started from a government that didn't play with educational foundation of her people.

Even niche manufacturers like Porsche, bentley, Rolls royce etc that produce 10s of thousands of cars every year (i.e small numbers) are only profitable because 1) they are owned by a larger volume manufacturer (VW & BMW) larger group and 2) their cars have high margins. No car manufacturer can produce the kind of small numbers innoson is producing and survive, the only reason they can survive is because they are not the ones manufacturing and so they do not have to invest in expensive tooling for every model. I mean c'mon use your head. if you have one you would know that Innoson cannot be the one manufacturing their body parts and chassis because I have seen more innoson models than mercedes, how many have they sold of each model to get their investment in the stamping dies for each of the body panels back? I've been married for less than a year. I called my wife to discuss how we could keep the house clean and I went on to tell her that she puts things where they shouldn't be. She got upset and called her mum, she was crying while speaking with her mum over the phone.

A very close friend of mine has found himself in a confused state and will need best advice on how to handle a critical situation.

This guy is already planning to get married with his girlfriend later this year ...plans going on.
During the last holidays, he ran into his ex girlfriend after a long while, they exchanged number and he invited her over to have a drink then hang out somewhere.

During the course of the meeting one thing lead to another they had sex...this happened 2 months ago.

My friend just got a call from the ex girlfriend that she missed her period and she is pregnant for him..
My friend was like trying to explain to her that he is get married in few months time and has no plans for her as regards marriage.

The ex girlfriend says she is keeping the pregnancy that my friend should do what ever he feels
The issue now how can he tell his girlfriend and parents about it.

Should he stop the planning of the wedding or should he continue with the ex girlfriend ?.

May God help you ohh. Sometimes I wonder how and why couples who were ecstatic a couple of years or weeks ago about marriage, go through the hurdles of multiple weddings and enjoy night after night of marital consummation but yet turn out to be the worst of enemies of each other later. It's amazing and mind boggling.

Nowadays when I see couples happy during their wedding day I just feel indifferent because I can guess that 2 years down the line they will start regretting that they ever met.

Pastors and clergymen that join couples in holy matrimony need to thoroughly question intending couples about their motives, hidden fantasies and desires, ambitions, beliefs, philosophies, secrets and other factors hidden at the time of wedding that could destroy the marriage. I believe divorces are rooted in or caused by matters of the past and that most couples get so carried away by the chemistry and prospects of a married life that they forget to settle the core matters that could lead to a divorce.
