Great comment...i am a bit surprised, but sorry to be chauvinistic, a lot of women don't think the way you do.

Some fall for the attention and don't know that a man who isn't hungry will HARDLY fall for a woman cheating on her husband.

@OP....your wife is already riding the guy's KUKURUKU!!!!... Never forgive a cheat, you would be miserable

Actually a woman who knows she is married and tells a toaster that she will think about it is already cheating. Ask yourself if you are married with a son would you give any other man the slightest chance to think he can date you. No, no matter how close he comes. and how did he get her number and why is she still picking his calls?
Don't mind the folks talking 'bout "sit her down, talk, love her more bla bla bla".

She has cheated already. Its too late! This guy is not the first, I can bet my DJ decks on that (and they cost a whooping 2.1m, no games). I see them everyday in gigs I anchor...you guys won't understand...

I get confused

When a pastor accused of adultery by his own wife who eventually divorces him

Corrects

A pastor who was accused of adultery by a prostitute and has been proven beyond reasonable doubts to be improperly involved with a few wayward actresses.

With that said, I strongly believe
There should be honour amongst thieves.
Even if what you accused the pastor of is correct, don't you think it speaks good of him to brave the likes of you (considering your comment) and others far worse (as from your comment you were even "considerate" as if this thread makes FP, Pastor Chris will be torn to shreds courtesy of NLers).

You see, it tells much about a man's intrinsic character when he can stand on the side of good despite having compelling reasons not to (other pastors may not want to draw attention to themselves considering their "marital" status).

Once again, I laud the courage of the Good Pastor.

But Jacob went ahead and married Rachel; a second wife. Jacob's solution! Isn't that another angle to look at it? You can't opt out but you can take a second one and make yourself happy. Isn't that polygamy? Ayam not understanding.
The issue at stake is not about Polygamy rather it is whether it is right for a Christian to divorce his/her spouse. We are not talking about the aftermath for now.

Jacob couldn't divorce Leah whether lied to or not. That is the important point. What he did thereafter is not germane to the discussion or issue at hand.

Apostle Suleiman's teaching is biblically flawed 100%. It may find acceptance via secular laws but, when did secular law start trumping divine biblical precepts with respect to the practice of true Christianity?

olamefun1990:
I am here to correct an error made by one Pastor Suleman Johnson. I watched one of the videos where he spoke on divorce. He actually encouraged divorce and I cried in my heart.

I was so shocked when I watched the video. The most annoying part of it is the fact that he used the law court to support his teaching. In Christianity, it is very wrong to use the law as your basis of teaching. In Christianity, we use the Holy Bible as our basis of authority. So let us go to the Bible and correct the wrong teaching.

What has the Bible got to say concerning divorce? The first thing I would like you to know about marriage is that marriage is a covenant, a covenant between a man and his wife, and God confirms it. What I have just said now, can it be found in the Bible? Yes! In the book of Malachi 2:14, the Bible says that marriage is a covenant between you and the wife of your youth. And the Bible also says in that verse that the God is a witness in the covenant. In other words, when a man gets married, he has entered into a covenant with his wife and in that covenant, God is a witness. God confirms the covenant.

The next question is: Can a lie before a marriage dissolve the marriage covenant? The answer is no. The moment a person enters into a covenant, nothing can dissolve it. A covenant simply means an agreement. Once you enter into an agreement with someone and another person signs as a witness, then nothing can dissolve that covenant. So what I have just said, can it be found in the Bible? Yes!

In the book of Galatians 3:15, the Bible says, though it be but a man’s covenant yet if it be entered into and is confirmed, it can no longer be disannulled. The moment you enter into a covenant, it can no longer be dissolved. That is the simple truth.

The next question I would like to answer is this: is there any one that was deceived into marriage in the Bible? Let’s find out if someone like that exists and let’s find out whether the marriage was dissolved after the deceit or the marriage stayed. Somebody like that exists and his name was Jacob. Jacob was deceived into marrying Leah. He didn’t want to marry Leah. He hated Leah. He loved Rachael. He thought he was getting married to Rachael. He did not know it was Leah because Leah’s face was covered. In the morning, he realized it was Leah he got married to and there was nothing he could do about it because he was already married. He had already entered into the covenant, so he couldn’t do anything about it and the marriage stayed. It is very clear. In Christianity, we do not support people to divorce because the woman does not have a womb or because the man is impotent. That is very wrong. Rather than teaching them to divorce, it is better you pray for them. You should pray for the woman to have a new womb. You should pray for the impotent man to impregnate his wife. God is still in the business of performing miracles. He has not stopped performing miracles. Rather than asking people to divorce, pray for them and they will have their desired miracles. That is what Christianity is all about, especially if you are a man of God. You should pray for people to have their desired miracles rather than teaching them to divorce.

Do you know the extent of damage this wrong teaching has done to the kingdom, in the Christian community? Do you know how many people are planning to divorce now because of this wrong teaching?

I would like to state here that this is not a personal spite against Pastor Suleman Johnson. No! It is not at all. I don’t even know him personally. All I am doing is to correct the wrong teaching so that people are not led astray.

So why am I correcting it? Because it is a mandate from God. The next question is: Is this mandate in the Bible? Yes! It can be found in Book of 2 Timothy 4:2. In that scripture, the Bible says rebuke and correct wrong doctrines and that is exactly what I am doing. I also want to use this opportunity to sound a note of warning to others. Make sure y
Preach it preacher!!!

I am not advocating for the good pastor nor the revered apostle but Pastor Chris in my opinion is 100% on point this time around!

C'mon christian folks! Open your eyes, minds, don't you have a bible for pete sake?! Apostle Sulaiman from my Sunday school lessons is teaching biblical fallacy! Never minding his stature in christian circles, the man is plain wrong biblically!

And I must commend Pastor Chris for being this bold as a man as controversial as he is, with so much "hate" directed at him is setting himself up for real lambasting from the media and society (read: his own divorce wahala) but, we can see that the man has decided to put himself at the mercy of jabs and taunts from the public to defend what it right, to reprove, rebuke, chastise and correct erroneous teachings. This is a classic case where someone living in a so-called glass house is throwing stones as he has more than a house built with glass to protect; he has the immortal souls of millions to protect!

More shine to the leather in your Bible Pastor !

Funny enough, it's not a novel idea. Way back in biblical times, they had folks who were termed "professional criers and sentimental mourners" in ancient Isreal. Their job was to wail, ululate and cry for a fee.

So, the saying that " there's nothing new under the sun" is true after-all

Time; one element I respect so much.

In the still of the night, we all tell ourselves the "truth" about our own affairs, forget all the posturing and whatnot. In the still of the night, we all cry for liberation from addiction, pain, poverty, obsession and whatever demons stalk our lives...in the still of the night alcohol fails to chase away the wraiths, coca cowers before the hungry glare of our failures and even poison offers no respite.

May we all age with increased wisdom.

Denn:
So many variables come with the AMG package. Some are:
*Engine upgrade
*Exhaust
*Body kits
*Badges
*Interior (steering, instrument cluster, decals etc)
*Suspension
*Brakes

Most of these can be bought as options (from the dealership or aftermarket).

Some car owners even strip salvage AMG cars for parts to use on theirs.

You can Google AMG body kits.

However, this does not make the car an AMG.

A real AMG must be built as an AMG from ground up. The AMG engine is hand-made and must carry a name tag of the individual builder.

No AMG is powered by the same engine on normal Benz cars. The engines are more powerful with wider cylinders, stronger connecting rods etc.

The suspension is tuned for high performance driving and the brakes are top end.

Loud exhausts or name tags do not only make an AMG

I won't argue with you.

The first comment on the YouTube video surmises all.

That is a normal E500 with an AMG badge and possibly some body kits.

I still insist, your car is not an AMG.

No amount of Chinese badges would make it so.

Share your engine pictures and I would give you one more tip on how to identify a genuine AMG.

Sorry you paid more for a normal W211
How do.you explain the dual exhaust, a characteristic of AMG tuned vehicles? Could it have been added also?

Controversial Ghanaian singer Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, says getting married is not readily in her plans.

The 37-year-old said although many hold the view that she is old enough to be married by now, it is not a priority for her.

Speaking Monday in an interview on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM with Lexis Bill, Mzbel said she is currently in a healthy relationship which is equal to marriage.

She said;

“Marriage is not a priority but if it happens, why not,” she noted and added that she is in a healthy relationship which she is enjoying.

Although she won’t disclose the identity of the man in her life currently, the singer had said in a couple of interviews that older men are her taste.

She said;

“I am an old man’s girlfriend. Everybody in Ghana knows that I don’t date young guys.

If you are a young guy and I date you, I might break your heart. I like old men. They are very gentle.

“They don’t also like sex. They can’t even have sex for long. You know, I don’t like sex like that. I like sex once in a while,”

Mzbel is currently promoting her new single, ‘African Boy’.

The singer, had in a recent interview with Zionfelix on Radio Universe’ Brunch2Lunch entertainment show, said it is not a sin to date a married man, as God supports it.

donpata:
I was moved to write this epistle cos of the fp topic of marrying someone who earns 35k yesterday. I have seen such questions on NL but I normally ignore them. Someone even asked if a lady can marry someone who earns 100k embarassed. I normally laugh at the comments and move on. I laughed at the sheer ignorance of many commenters, and the foolish statements many made. I decided to assume that 70% of the people who commented are either undergraduates still studying who have a big Disney picture of the sweet employment awaiting them or some who have not really known what is out there in the world. The remaining 20% earn well probably and so feel life should be like that for everyone. The remaining 10% commenters are those who really see life as it is in reality – DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS. Now am gonna be objective and subjective at the same time. And let me warn you – IT’S LONG tongue

Me? 30yrs, had my BSc in the north but did my MSc at UI. Hoping to register for Phd by next year.
My fiancée? 24ys old and currently awaiting 300 lv registration. Will be done by 2019.

Fact: without any serious research, I think I am save to say that at least 50% of families (basically father and mother) in Nigeria earn a combined income of less than 40k in a month.
Fact: The federal govt claims it has about 100k civil servants. Add paramilitary and military with about 500k personnel and public office holders, I think 800k people in active service on FG’s payroll is a fair judgment. For the sake of argument, let’s assume fg has another 800k retired personnel on pension. That’s like 1.6 million people. Nigeria has a population of 180million people. The WB estimate Nigeria has a workforce of about 60 million in 2016. If we delete the 1.6million on FGs payroll, we still have about 58.4million people left. Obviously, the remaining are left for the State and Local govt as well as private sector to employ. How many are employed?
Lagos state claims it has about 100,000 workers in its payroll. Let me be liberal enough to use it as a benchmark for all Nigerian states and fct. 100k by 37 = 3.7million employees.
Obviously, we still have over 50million people to employ. How many will the Real private sector pick? Yeah those that will pay a graduate from 60k above – how many can they pick? Now many will have to be entrepreneurs, “self-employed” people, petty traders, artisans etc. How much can they really earn monthly?

Fact: 80% of state and LGA workers between level 1 and 10 earn less than 50k in a month. Apart from states like Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and a few others, most states, especially in the North, pay quite low. On level 8, with Kad Govt, I earn 35-37k. It fluctuates monthly. Note that there are married people with at least 3 children that are on lev 1 - 6. Do the maths.

Wedding:
Many asked how one will pay bride price. Well, I have crossed that bridge. I know my status so before I even got a lady, I started buying some stuff like wrappers to keep. More so, my savings, family and friends rally round me and that was solved. Only a foolish lady will think of bride price as an issue here. Except if her family is poor, why should they demand too much?. 2 of my sisters that married had their bride price pegged at 5k each. The total money paid on the first was 25k and 50k for the 2nd. Mind you, they are currently running their masters programme so they ain’t illiterates. Let me stop here.

So the Wedding? How will I handle it? SIMPLE: I AM CUTTING MY COAT ACCORDING TO MY POCKET

Box: I went to the market and saw boxes of 100-200k. I was showed a set of 5 for 30k as well. I opted for a set of 5 at 60k. That’s my own level too. Mind you there were people picking that of 30k too. Different strokes for Different folks.

RECEPTION VENUE: Church Premises. My church got a lot of space so why should I spend 200-500k (that I don’t even have) renting a hall for a 2hr event? A guy who got married last month in my Church did not do reception at all. Again, Different strokes for Different folks.

Wedding Cards: Saw a nice foreign one. They said it will cost me 30k per 100. I needed 500. I was showed another that will cost 5k per 100. I Finally opted for the one of 10k per 100. Even got a 5k discount.

My suit? I opted for a 16k suit and my best man decided to pay for it.

My shoes? I got really nice shoes but coz it’s my day, I opted for new ones. I picked up a very nice one for 2k. It aint top notch quality but it should take me through the day. It can actually pass for a ck or d&g when viewed from a distance.

My Chairs and Canopies? My organizers are 20. Lol grin. They have paid 80% of the money.

Cake? My aunt who has a HND in catering bla bla and has been in it for almost 15yrs running has taken that as her contribution.

DJ and Camera man? My men in suit, (5 in number) have paid for that service. tongue

MC? A friend is good at it. That is his contribution.

Wedding Gown: My cake designer linked me to a lady who rents out. She thus charged us 10k for a nice wedding gown. I deposited 5k. Will pay 5k after the event.
Need I continue? I don’t think so.

The main thing – The marriage life
Yeah I know you are saying all I have said na wash. You are waiting for how reality will hit me after the marriage cos that’s the main deal. You gonna say you await my regret thread after some few months. Sorry, your expectation will be cut short.

Fees:
Now, my to-be wife will be registering for a new session by December. Her fees is just arnd 30k so I kept that amount and I have promised myself not to touch it until its time. I don’t even need to touch it. Everything appears almost set and done.

Clothing: I filled my wife’s box to the “brim” with both native and English wears. coolSo for now, cloths aint really an issue.

Accommodation: Here in KD, a 1 bedroom mini flat cost between 80-150k depending on the location. Am not talking of a 2 room flat cos, truly, I don’t need it now. But I am not even thinking of taking the mini flat either. A room and parlor (real face me I face u) cost between 18k-45k depending on the location. There are better ones; mostly new houses that cost 40-60k. I’ve gotten a very nice one for 55k. Just 2 tenants in the house and the other guy is single so we just gonna be sharing the toilet with him. It’s not that I can’t afford it but wisdom must direct me. I got 2plots of land already so I don’t even intend staying in that house beyond a year or 2.

My building: I already have 2 plots of land. I’ve struck an agreement with some guys who will supply me mud blocks at N20 each. At my estimate of 3000 blocks, that’s 60k grin. Havent paid but after my wedding, I will do it jejely. My plan is to rush the building and roof it b4 the rains come next year. I paid some guys in my area 7k so by next week, they are gonna go there and dig the foundation of a 2bedroom flat for me. Not that I am building now but I have to dig during the rainy season cos the land gets hard during the dry season. My intention is to use just ¼ of the land for that so that when I am blessed wella, I will use the remaining ¾ of the land to build my pent house. Need I tell you that by estimates, I need 6 bundles of those “aluminum” sheets to roof it? I bought 3 last year when it was 16k. I could not add cos it went up to 30k. I heard it’s 20k now but I can’t buy the remaining 3 now cos of my wedding preps. Will do that after my wedding when I have relaxed a bit.

Feeding?
A 50kg bag of rice takes me over 5 months now that I am alone. I believe in varieties so I got different things stocked in my room. Adding one or two extra plate should not make life difficult. I planted maize on my 2 plots. Once harvested, I won’t need to buy semovita all the time. If you have been to the north, you will know that with my harvest, Tuwo is served. Need I continue? I don’t think so. Let me not bore you further.

My support to extended Families
Someone asked in that thread that how do one take care of his families and inlaws. Well, my family aint rich but they can cater for themselves. My dad and mum earn and have only one child left in the university. Moreover, they are sensible enough to know that they should not expect from me. Rather, what is sensible is for them to support me if need be tongue. My fiancées’ parents aint rich either. But I know they aint so poor to demand me to take care of their own responsibility when they know I have their daughter to cater for. Of coz, once in a while, I will do what I can for our families.

Children
Just a child and I will pause until she is done with school. I know it’s gonna come with challenges but I don’t think you expect me to plan out every day of my life and budget for same here. I know that I will cross the bridge when I get there.

Other wants
I am a gadget freak. Before my wedding preps, I buy things impulsively. Now I know I have to control that. I know what lies ahead of me. That’s why I didn’t go for an iphone but went for a hot note. When the hot note packed up, I didn’t kill myself for a Samsung s7 even though I love it. I went for my sweet Ulefone Tiger @ 31k. When I went for a tab, I didn’t go for an ipad; not even a tecno pad. I went for imose xii tongue. Instead of ps3 console, I download games to my laptop and play them. That serves me.

I CAN TRULY GO ON AND ON BUT CALLING SOMEONE A FOOL AS MANY DID ON THAT THREAD YESTERDAY IS QUITE ILLOGICAL. My dad married at 24. My mum was 19 then. Both are now degree holders. Things have changed and that’s why I am marrying at 30. I don’t want to clock 50 and yet taking my first child to write Common Entrance. If you like say I am rushing.
Firstly, I love my fiancée die. 2ndly, I am a Christian and my bodily desires are building up strongly. Marriage is the way out. 3rdly, I love kids. Since they are an inheritance, I can’t wait to have one as God wills. Lastly, I wanna retire in peace. Not old man using my pension to train undergraduates and Jambites.
Finally, I am not complacent with where I am. I have handled a few millions before but this is where I am now. I wanna go for my phd and I hope to reestablish myself in business. But I can’t again let my social life suffer cos of where I am today. I have a job now; low paying as it is, I know if well managed, I will make it out. Even if I remain in the employ of the State Govt, I cant earn 35k forever. I am young and will keep moving on.

DISCLAIMER: grin This is not meant to force anyone to get married when he is not ready - Not at all. I just want some people to know that there are different strokes for different folks. There are too many factors that determine happiness and success in life and marriage. Your salary is just one. YOU CANT CALL ME A FOOL FOR MY DECISION. I HAVE CAREFULLY WEIGHED MY CIRCUMSTANCE AND PROSPECTS AND I FEEL I AM READY TO TAKE THE LEAP. I KNOW IT WONT BE A WALK IN THE PARK; BUT IT WONT BE TOO DIFFICULT EITHER.
FOR THE “FOOLS AT 40” WAITING FOR THEIR MILLIONS TO BUILD UP BEFORE SETTLING DOWN, TILL UNA COME.
FORGIVE ME FOR THE LONG EPISTLE.
HAD TO TAKE MY TIME SO THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL APPRECIATE THAT NO TWO PEOPLE HAVE SAME CIRCUMSTANCES AND SITUATIONS.

I PROMISE TO RAISE ANOTHER THREAD ANNUALLY TO TELL YOU HOW FAR WE HAVE GONE. wink
Here is a man indeed!!!

The BMW X4 was introduced about 3 years ago as a baby X6.. and BMW is already giving their fans a treat with an all new model for 2018.

The 2018 BMW X4 is prettier with thin rear lights and a completely redesigned front fascia. It has the same CLAR architectural design with the X3 and would come with front or four wheel drive.

More details will be brought to you when unraveled.

Tell us if you are liking it or not.

I won't catch grenades for you though, because I see some pouring on you soon. cheesy
That post wasn't written by a "bro".

There is a certain way a " bro" who subscribes to the view the "seemingly entitled female" who wrote that piece would couch his words. That style was glaringly lacking.

Erigga na king for hin lane sha
I love erigga

@Eriha na king for hin lane...

That is what I'm saying, I cannot in good conscience compare both as their "styles" are different.

erriga no reach yung6ix . wake up from sleep
Both cats are lll!

But we need to understand that they spit differently. Erigga mostly utilises proverbs, metaphors and really deep and sic wordplays in pidgin while 6ix does more of mainstream hip-hop (i.e. English and street slangs presented in very creative ways).

In my opinion, both are the best mainstream cats in the game from the south (funny enough, they arw from same city-Warri).
