Guy, go to settings>>application>>unknown sources and mark it. After that you are done.

For now I will still stick with my n3 and wait patiently for I know that tecno is gradully upgrading their product at cheaper rate. Maybe by november they must have given us another jelly bean that has flash player, above 5MP camera, java capable and other nice feature that is within the range of 13k.

My bad. I didn't bother to check it because sometime last year they did it, they removed the jujubox menu. I only checked biss key menu after the OTA download.

OTA upgrade would'nt work on your fake reciever rather it will kill it.

Yeah, you can still enter biss keys but I'm sorry to tell you that jujubox (dogshit) menu won't be there again.

It depend on the stage of the OTA download on your reciever. There is no problem if light goes off at first stage of the OTA download but at last stage, huh! there is serious problem.

adimek2002: Good morning House, Please I took my 4669x box and connected it to a friend's mytv but after blindscanning, the OTA download didn't take place. I switched off at the back and on again all to no avail. Please what should I do?

@adimek2002,
make sure that 12522 H 29950 is green on your reciever. Mannual scan the above trasponder. Your reciever will detect the software. On your tv screen down the right side, you will see "new software" then switch off your reciever and on it back, immediately your reciever will start OTA download.

I would like to suggest to anybody who cares to write to MBC Group to suggest to them that they should give us MBC sd through Badr 5.
Reasons.
1. Signals on Badr 5 are high.
2. Badr 5 is trackable with 65cm dish.
3. Most trasponders on Eutelsat 7 west ( NWA beam) are weak.
4. They are not trackable with 65cm dish.
5. Badr 5 look more promising than Eutelsat 7 west (NWA beam).
6. One can combine Badr 5 with Astra 2F, Amos 5, Eutelsat 16, Eutelsat 4/7, Intelsat newdown on a 90 cm dish and thereby reduce the number of dish being scattered on a building.

This is my humble suggestion.

I'm sorry for late reply, check IKNORBERT INT'L LTD. The shop is on second floor by the right if you are entering Emeka Offor plaza through the main gate. I hope this helps.

Last time I checked, it was sold at the rate of 12200 naira from the main distributor at Emeka Offor plaza. I still prefer n3 but don't ask me why.
