In a recent oil and gas convention a writer has this to say..... "The Nigerian oil industry has been shrinking. It is an open secret that the major international oil companies (IOCs) are divesting their (especially onshore) assets. More alarmingly exploration activity in frontier areas (Deepwater Niger Delta, Benin Basin and the inland basins) have waned. Among the IOC staff there’s a certain tension and insecurity as divesting implies downsizing (Shell for instance plans to cut 70% of staff ). Added to this is the significant drop in Nigerian oil production related to insecurity and oil theft and the concurrent growth and emergence of competitors in West (Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire and Liberia), Central (Angola, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea) and East (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania an'd Mozambique) Africa.'' The investment climate in Nigeria is currently not certain for the IOCs, It is clear that they are waiting for the passage of the long overdue Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB). As i write this Chevron,Agip,Shell and co are currently downsizing, while the National Assembly vested with the responsibility of passing the PIB are busy playing tribal politics, while the FGs effort to reduce unemployment and improve our nations economy is compromised...GOD SAVE US |
i remember during his first one year in office, Ameachi had problems with rivers state elders and his defense then was that they wanted him to share the 100 billion Naira he claimed to have saved for the rivers people and that he was going to use the said money for this same water project ..he should stop all this his games and do what is right ..SHUT UP AN GO BACK TO WORK |
;Dop you just made my day |
your name clearly show how unserious a person you are..simple question for why do they want to leave PDP?
Riosike, you've remained a phool on this forum with your slavish for hire mentality! So, when the so called rogues were in PDP and your retardeen GEJ was benefiting like you, you never complained. But if the same people switched and joined any other party you develop diarrhea and your curse descends on you again with great fury?? If you retardeen GEJ who stole $ 12 M as deputy governor has not prosecuted himself, he controls the police, army, EFCC, etc has not found any evidence or the courage to ask them questions because he is a bigger thief, how is that APC's problem or you think the Nigerians you are trying to deceive here can't see that?Every normal person understands tht democracy is a game of numbers. It is up to the right leadership to lead and show the way so as to make even a sub-par set of people raise their game and see the big picture. If APC is doing that and have demonstrated that far better than the PDP, you think people cannot see that? You think people would follow the accursed post of yours after being paid by GEJ to spew thrash while their life is gradually sucked dry? You have one vote, go and give it to the retardeen, and let other people make their choice without you thinking everyone is accursed and blinded like you who has sold his soul for a morsel of bread.
|
this is getting more interesting....so much sincerity in display here. |
if you all hate her for misappropriating(not Stealing) 600 million, why don't you like her for fixing over 28 airports in less than 3 years a feet no other aviation minster came close to achieving? |

alienware: you need to get urself informed before coming here to call me a poor soul , abt 150 years ago those guys had already built steam fired trains and many machines, what have you been able to do with ur own RICH SOUL up till this moment ?would you own an AC if you live in the Arctic? Understand this, the whites and their media have made people like you hungry for what you don't really need. Africans had no need migrating to other places because, we really never had challenges with basic needs of life(food, shelter clothing etc). so the whites had this challenges thus the need to migrate to other regions to sources for this things? just like the Nigerian Biafran war, the Biafrans came up with the Ogbuniwge out of necessity. |
9jaBrid: Nelson Mandela tribute song so soon? Was he waiting for the man to drop dead before? Hmm!!! Sounds like the song was done in anticipation of his death. Anyway, nice one from PH finest.that's Duncan for you ..the guy fit dey play football and next thing him go just start to drop lines about the events around at him that moment the guy is good |
always proud to see him any time any day..GOD BLESS YOU SIR |
alaoeri: Sycophant of the highest order, the likes of Tukur, Okupe etc are ill-advicing our trainee president.lol..you make me laugh. do you really understand the process of defection? yes the govs have said they will defect, but they have not, because they still have there PDP membership cards with them and have not formally sent letters of defection to there current political party which happens to be PDP .. so you see Tukur is not a sycophant after all maybe we should ask you who is? |
Maximus85: It baffles me to know how shallow minded these so-called pastors and reverends are.my friend are you a Christian? if so, i'm sure you no the story of the last supper?! |
i think CBN is trying to reduce the demand for Dollars which is doing more harm to the naira ..Good one |
this is further proof of how desperate our politicians are..instead of helping out in solving the current ASUU issue this leaders are trying to create more problems. Funny enough they all claim to love our country...shame |
bro u did a great job with this..i'm not an expert but i want to draw your attention to something i noticed, and dont want to do that publicly on this forum... |
Dallas Cowgirl: If I'm chunky, the fatties on his thread may be mistaken for whales in my part of the world.Hey! i have read ur comments on this thread and have come to the conclusion that you r either jealous cos uyou expect to get all the attention but dissapointly you r not , or you lost ur "man" to one of this big bold and beautiful hons..If i'm wrong, then please leave this thread cos its meant for real humans who appreciate the real beauty of women and not for inferiority complexed brain washed skinny(if you are) ugly looking slacked v lonely 'damsel' like you ..thnaks ![]() |
talktimi: you see this woman is causing a lot of distractions and un necessary insults for her husband from the electorate who voted him in thats why i say her wings need to be clipped. If there's a grievance, the presidency can go about it in a smoother way to solve the problem eg it is an open secret in ph that the abonema wharf ghetto violently demolished by Amaechi is right now being converted to a massive tank farm owned by him and his cronies. So i do not support Amaechi but i also do not support the way mrs Jonathan went about the whole issue.bro you have a point there..but all i'm trying to say is that it takes two,if Ameachi had gone about this whole issue with a different approach i'm sure we would have moved way pass this level of development in rivers state and the country..He(Ameachi) should understand his not that 'Port Harcourt BOY' he used to be 10yrs ago...i'm sure you r married? this is what most men go thru with there wife's(Women) yet the ones that handle it better happen to be the mature and tolerant men which dsn't make them less men, you dnt treat a lady like! somtimes just silence can make her yield.. |
talktimi: Good move by the PDP, the first lady's wings really have to be clippedto be fare to the !st lady, Ameachi most times does the right thing the wrong way..You may argure she has no reason to meddle but look at it this way,its her state and she has always been part of the rivers PDP political structure, Her family was able to come this far in politics as a result of ths character that we all condemn..maybe she over reacted, but she was trying to make her people feel that sense of security. While we caution her we should also tell Ameachi to be diplomatic in his approach to issues, He is no longer a 'Port Harcourt Boy' but a leader and that one small action can lead to loads of uncontrolled reactions .... |
bennyraz: please guys.. just like this comment for no reason..seriously, you got me luaghing . back to OP.. great move, this is what we expect from our so called elder statesmen but they rather prefer to heat up the polity unnecessarily..kudos to u OBJ |
