Dear secondary school teachers and school owners, please, help the students and the public by ensuring that students in your school write examinations by themselves and merit the grades they brandish on their SSCE results.

We are tired of seeing students with A1 in Mathematics but cannot resolve the smallest of fractions. A student with distinctions in Physics and chemistry but knows next to nothing about chemical reactions or energy conversion. Students with distinctions in Literature, Government, and CRS, yet blank on the differences between Drama and Prose Fiction, the forms of Government, and the significance of Religious stories.

I had to ask some year 1 students to look for a tutorial teacher to help them with JS 3 and SS1 mathematics recently. The whole 16 of them in my Engineering class with excellent SSCE results are visibly confused at the sight of any arithmetic work. Their last semester's performance betrayed the several A1s and B3s on the WAEC they carry about.

These students you help acquire grades they can't defend are usually frustrated in the ivory tower. Save them a voyage of pain and regrets in the future by ensuring they are well tutored and allowed to prepare and write their examinations unaided.

This is absolutely apt! It is quite unfortunate how morals have degenerated in our society. You find a situation where parents hire exam "mercenaries" to help their children write exams, all in the name of scoring higher grades or not wanting to fail. It is so sad!

While my intention is not to change them because they are far gone, my efforts are to prevent others from being converted, especially their children and fencesitters who may be indoctrinated with their poison.

For me, you are just wasting your time trying to change the mind set of these people. The same set of people that were fed with lies and they believed that the President of a nation as big as Nigeria died and was cloned. It was so difficult for me to see that a sensible person could believe that story. I honestly stopped arguing with them since that episode.

Wait a minute, the solders attacked them twice? There was no reported case of solders attacking communities in the media. No picture or video evidence even in this age of social media? We only heard of killings when the solders were massacred. If they talk of attack after the killing of solders I will believe the story.

Who counted them? Do we have valid data in Nigeria?

It is funny how no one is saying anything about the silence of the LP and other opposition Senators! I thought they are new breeds and untainted unlike APC Senators! Abegi, not in this era of N580 per liter of fuel. I don't care who is observing or who thinking that I have sold my car. I only go to work with my car twice in a week now. No more unnecessary trips with car to visit or hang out with friends/guys. I do my hanging out within my neighborhood. If you ask me of my car, I will tell you fuel is expensive, it is at home.
