This is the reason he made the comment, he knows he cant enforce it but he wants to see the way you guys would react. The more the hatred btw Igbos and Yorubas, the better for him. Unfortunately, your natural Igbophobia can easily be triggered CilicMarin: Yoruba people should wake up before it is too late.. |

Politics › Re: My Encounter With The Presidential Candidate Of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi by DMerciful(m): 4:55pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
8 million did not vote for Tinubu, you know it, Tinubu knows it, Mahmmud knows it and the court will do the needful N3TRAL: Let me say this loud, clear and unequivocally:
I really love Peter Gregory Obi.
He presented hope for most Southern Nigerians who are only existing and not living life. I know this because I feel ashamed everytime I step out of grocery stores and malls with trolleys full of quality consumables, not because I'm a thief but because of the hopeless faces whose children would sleep without food.
I really respect Peter Obi because he proved the tribalists and those who treat Igbo people with disdain wrong.
He won the FCT and Lagos. He won Nasarawa in Northern Nigeria. He defeated an Hausa Speaking in candidate in Plateau State (Northern Nigeria) which he won with thousands of votes. He won the South South, a zone that's believed not to have forgiven Igbos because of the civil war excesses.
Peter Obi reassured those of South Eastern heritage that they are loved and welcomed in Nigeria even though their rightful turn to lead their country was denied.
I love His Excellency 👑 Peter Obi because of his determination to enshrine in the depth of the typical Nigerian a new political orientation of virtue signalling, empathy, humility, political correctness, diligence, workaholism, and humanism.
If he won, his government would have been one with the least intervention of "godfatherism" in our political culture.
It is not Mr Obi's fault that he wasn't my choice or the choice of more than 8 million others .
It's the fault of democracy which allows people to choose the leader they believe in most. If there was no Asiwaju, it'll be Obi for me. I'm still mourning the fact that he came third instead of 2nd.

Igbos do not want the senate presidency, has no benefits to the ordinary Igbos Penguin2: See this fool!
I want Orji Uzor Kalu to know that the race for the seat of the Senate President should not be based on religion but capacity.
Besides, Igbos have not built enough bridge to warrant having the senate presidency. They need to build enough bridges before they can come back in 20 years time.
So, visiting Buhari is waste time by this efulefu. |

Politics › Re: Atiku When He Comes Back From Dubai To Contest In 2027 (photo) by DMerciful(m): 1:18pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
I agree that he should have supported GEJ for second term because he was next in line. As for this last election, forget the results, it was rigged by APC and INEC blatantly. If PDP had scored 10million votes, APC would have made theirs 11million, if PDP had scored 13milliin, APC would have made theirs 14million. APC was rigging a little above opponents but we expect the court to do the needful. Obi will win at the Supreme Court OneCandleAway: He is not a good strategist. He should have supported Jonathan for second term. Should not have underrated G5 because his strong base is the south. He always had more supporters in South than North.
Over confidence ruined him. Rivers that could have given him 1 million votes he couldn't handle wike. How will you now handle Nigeria if ordinary wile you can't handle. Lack of patience, desperation. If he played cool, maybe obasanjo would have supported him but he didn't want the second term for obj initially. |

Politics › Re: I Didn’t Say Yoruba Are Political Rascals – Iwuanyanwu by DMerciful(m): 1:02pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
Oluomo meant what he said, nobody is buying his mama chidi nonsense. This is not the first time Oluomo is threatening about voting, in 2019, he did same. Your attempt for put them side by side is a huge travesty casualobserver: I am yoruba. I know what he meant, any reasonable person knows he wasn’t attacking Yorubas . But I must say you people have been milking and misinterpreting genuine slips and gaffes from others and running with it, creating narratives and stoking divisions that didn’t exist out of innocent slips of the tongue or comments aimed at specific people within a specific context….now you see the effect when the shoe is on the other foot.
The irony is the MCOluomo comment that sparked this whole thing was taken out of context. The woman he was specifically talking to (mama Chidi) even came out to debunk it but that was not good enough for you.
It just shows, we all need to be guarded. Iwuanyawu has too much business interests in Lagos to make such a comment in a public gathering just as MC Oluomo has too much involvement with Ibos in Lagos to make such a comment. What goes around comes around. If people choose not to be reasonable, a time will come when others would be in their right to choose not to be reasonable. |

Anything you think you have that gives you, your future children or tribe a better life than Igbos is your business. Enjoy it and do not cry more than the bereaved Philgafauto: You are a bad igbo filled with hubris for nothing and beneath all your bravado is an inferiority complex that shines through.
Whether you accept it or not, Igbos have been relegated to 2nd class status in Nigeria and that is a deliberate plot by your enemies.
If i were to look at your pride, i will speak about your tribe in a condescending manner like millions of Hausas and Yorubas do. I am not obligated to speak for or advice Igbos but i do so out of empathy and a sense of duty to denounce injustice.
No matter how much millions igbos have in Nigeria, they are still handicapped politically and no igbo child will ever be president in Nigeria as presently constituted. A single government policy can cripple your importation business. This thread contains a roadmap to igbos renaissance but your pride will never allow you to cool down and learn. At least, i will give birth to yoruba children in Nigeria who will always have a better headstart than any igbo child. Your pride can never change that reality. Keep fooling yourself with pride while thinking you are hurting anybody. |

Politics › Re: Rocha's Is The Only Igbo man North Will Support For Presidency by DMerciful(m): 7:20am On Mar 28, 2023 |
So you wanna support the most incompetent Igbo man so that when he fails, you say Igbos have failed and not Northerners that supported him to power? Quality20: Northern Nigeria esp the far north generally don't trust ppl of Igbo extraction because of their long held hatred for people of far north, People in the north believe that if an Igbo becomes president that they are gonna be enslaved, while their nobles will be massacred. So its for reasons like this that Hausa Fulani people hold and view Igbo's with massive suspicion. The only Igbo man alive who can earn the Hausa man's trust is none other than Rochas of Africa, the Dan jikan sokoto. So much loved across the north, from plateau ,Benue, kwara to sokoto. Next time Igbo elders should cajole and bring him out and the gonna vote massively for him even against the likes of Kwankwaso, and Atiku |

It seems you're looking for animosity! omonnakoda: All he needed to have done was say It was a mistake I am sorry Saying he never said so is insulting No.one can force him to apologise but you cannot force people not to feel resentful

He has clarified that he was talking about the thugs who were using violence. Afenifere asked him to clarify, he has done that. Give it a rest. omonnakoda: You do not rationalize facts either this is 2023 or it is not. Nothing to debate He said it. The video is everywhere Why are you people so comfortable telling lies? At best He can say it was a misspeak occasioned by senescence or whatever He said Yoruba are political rascals and we will handle them The honourable thing to do is to say Sorry I made a mistake I ,I meant to say something else but my mouth and my brain were not coordinated, I wanted to say A but when I opened my mouth B came out. I take responsibility I apologise just like Seun did. That would be the end of it . The statement he released is dishonest To tell us to our faces he never said so is a lie and when the rest of you join in it shows that As a people you lack honour and integrity
To try to subtly suggest oh look at the preceding words you should know what he was trying to say is not taking responsibility. It is disrespectful |

We do not see hatred...its been like this...we're fine. You're overreacting. This has been happening in evry election since 2015 and will happen in 2027 Philgafauto: You want to goad me to start insulting igbos like those my yoruba APC brothers who are muslims.
I wont do that bro. My advice is very altruistic and comes from a place of love.
Take your time and consider all i have said.
Not all yorubas hate you.
