Talk2Bella: He doesn’t know I am older than he is, I lied to him about my age when we first started dating, told him he was about 4 years older than I was and he accepted it.
Now it’s like I shot myself in the foot, he disrespects me at every turn and expects me to apologize, reminds me he’s older than me and wants me to accord him the respect his age requires if not he won’t talk to me.
Do I tell him the truth about my age, I feel totally useless these days because he wants to stamp the age authority every time, if I make any mistake he tells me, I act like my age, he doesn’t know why he would even date someone he’s younger than bla bla bla.
What do I do?
Talk2Bella
A relationship shouldn’t be a competition and it seems that’s what both of you’re doing {Age Competition}.
Everyone knows age isn’t a criterion for maturity, in a relationship respect is mutual and reciprocal and should never be forced or enforced; when it is forced it isn’t a relationship anymore but a dictatorship.
Lies are a bad foundation to build any type of relationship on, now do the honest thing and tell your man your real age, it won’t mean the end of the world, it will just clear things between you two.

The creator that sees beyond human sight. He that knows the best. Thank you Lord for giving us the amiable President Muhammadu Buhari. At first, I did not understand why GOD allowed it to happen. But now I know and I HAVE SEEN reasons why we should accept his Presidency. Had it been Buhari did not become president: 1. We will think that by now fuel will be #45 per litre. 2. We will think that by now #1 will be equal to $1. 3. We will think that by now three million jobs would have been created. 4. We will think that by now unemployed youths would have been receiving #5,000.00 stipends. 5. We will think that by now pupils would have been getting at least a meal(including fruits) in school. 6. We will think that by now Nigeria would have gotten 3 standard working Refinery. 16. We will think that by now Nigeria would have stopped importation of fuel. 17. We will think by now office of the First Lady will no longer exist. 18. We will think by now National Assembly salary would have been cut down to 50%. 19. We will think that by now 720,000 jobs by the 36 states in the federation yearly (20,000 per state) would have been created. 20. We will think that by now there would be permanent peace in the Niger Delta. 21. We will think that by now the government would have started creating additional middle-class of at least two million new home owners in the first year in government and one million annually thereafter. 22. Politics › Re: Nigerians Eat Too Much Rice, That’s Why It Is Expensive – Audu Ogbeh by dnawah(m): 7:41am On Sep 15, 2016 |
OluKayy: The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, on Wednesday in Abuja said Nigerian businessmen demanded 2.5 billion dollars (about N492 billion) a week for importation of goods and services into the country. Ogbeh made this known in a meeting with officials of VICAMPRO, an indigenous Agro Company investing in production of Irish Potato on Wednesday in Abuja. He said that the ministry was willing to support local investors with capacity to produce goods and save the country’s foreign exchange.
He said that the consumption of rice in the country was rising and that a lot of people were not aware that the rice had some degree of arsenic. The minister said that consuming rice in large quantity on a regular basis was a bit of health risk, adding that substituting it with potato would be welcomed development. “The volume of importation of virtually everything into this country is too much. “The demand for dollars in this country as at today is 2.5 billion a week; this is the quantum of dollars Nigerians are asking for to import things. “Since 1986, we began this habit of importing everything and doing virtually nothing at home to sustain ourselves; now, we do not have the dollars and people are very hungry. “This day was coming anyway, no matter who was in power; we have the most ridiculous method of devaluing our currency; every week, we auction the dollar and naira goes up. “We sat and were hoping that by devaluation, we are going to arrive at Eldorado; if we continue like this, it will be a thousand naira to a dollar,’’ he said. While commending the investor, Ogbeh said that any private sector effort that would develop local production of goods would be fully supported by the ministry. “We should aggressively take the West African market; there is no reason why we should allow Irish potato from Ireland and France and Belgium into West Africa; it is the same story with onions. Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of VICAMPRO, Mr Michael Agbogo, said that potato could bring value worth over one trillion naira annually if properly harnessed. He said that potato was the fourth most important crop in the world and that a barrel of oil was an equivalent of 14 kilogrammes of potatoes. According to Agbogo, while current price of crude oil will fetch the country about N16,000 per barrel, the equivalent in potato will fetch the country N39,000. He said that in terms of value, potato had three times the value of crude oil, adding that it was a huge industry the country could get into. Agbogo said that Egypt and Algeria were the leading potato producing countries in Africa, with Egypt producing four million tonnes annually from about 100,000 hectares of land. He said that Nigeria, which had close to 500,000 hectares, was struggling to produce one million tonnes of potato per annum

osile2012: A group of Christians in Iraq have formed their own militia to protect people from the so-called Islamic State group. The leader of the Babylon Brigade says they were left with no choice but to take up arms when IS fighters targeted Christians. There's a striking picture on the wall. It shows an untarmacked road, scorched by sunlight, leading to a small village with a mountain range behind it. And all along the side of the road there are crosses every 100m - taller even than lamp posts. "Christian village," a guard mumbles. "Near Mosul." We are in the Baghdad headquarters of the Iraq Christian Resistance, Babylon Brigade. They are a militia, although they prefer the phrase popular mobilisation unit. Whatever the language, about 30 of these outfits have sprung up in the past couple of years and between them they have 100,000 armed volunteers. They were formed to block the advance of the so-called Islamic State group when it swept through north and west Iraq in 2014, even threatening Baghdad. When the Iraqi national army collapsed the militias stood firm.

henryanna36: Buhari to reduce his 10 presidential jets – Presidency..
ChangeBeginsWithMe
President Muhammadu Buhari has given the order for the reduction of the number of aircrafts in his presidential fleet.
Spokesperson to the president on Media & Publicity, Garba Shehu, made this known on Thursday Sept 8, 2016 evening.
He said: “There is a govt committee already in place, working to reduce the number of aircraft in the presidential fleet.”
“Some aircraft will be boarded, some others returned to the Air Force for operations. The Change is here.”
Critics of Buhari say the government has not done enough to end Nigeria’s worst economic crisis for decades.
Many state governors are not paying salaries and tens of thousands of workers have been laid off, while companies across sectors say they cannot get enough hard currency to import spare parts or raw materials.

Emmenyk: What we want from the current Administration is an improvement on previous achievements because with continuous improvement Nigeria will be greater. No more rhetorics - Anthony Wakwe Lawrence.
JONATHAN SPEAKS OUT... I Didn't Hand Over A Collapsed Nation To Buhari - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan- . Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has replied his critics who accused him of handing over a nation at the verge of collapse to his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari. . Jonathan recounted the achievements of his government to include, handing over a country that produced the richest man in Africa. . Jonathan said, “I took over a Nigeria that was the second largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $270.5 billion in 2009, I handed over a Nigeria that had grown to become the largest economy in Africa and the 24th largest economy in the World with a GDP of $574 billion. . “I inherited a Nigeria in which the trains were not working, and handed over a Nigeria in which citizens can safely travel by trains again. I also inherited a country where illiteracy rate particularly in the Northern part was alarming. I handed over a country where every state in the North and indeed all the states had a Federal University. I inherited a country where there was total infrastructural decay in all the unity schools and colleges of education. But I handed over a country with massive infrastructural improvement in almost higher institutions. I inherited a country where agricultural inputs and production were almost zero. But I handed over a country where a bag of rice was sold for N6,500 to N7000. My regime since the establishment of ecological fund office did more irrigation dams in the North and other parts of the country than other subsequent administrations put together. I inherited epileptic fuel supplies resulting to endless queues at the filling stations. I maintained despite enormous challenges of fuel subsidies and handed over a relatively stable fuel regime. . I inherited a Nigeria that was a net importer of cement, and handed over a Nigeria that is a net exporter of cement. . In 2009 the richest Nigerian was the 5th richest man in Africa, but I handed over a Nigeria that produced the richest man in Africa.
. The former President further stated " I inherited a country where people were almost losing hope on the credibility of its electoral process but I noticed that democracy will continue to grow in the African continent if leaders value the process of elections more than the product of the process. I handed over electoral process that engendered fairness in its conduct and conclusiveness ". . He said, “Even in the 2015 general elections in my country, Nigeria, there was potential for major crisis if I was not a President duly elected by the will of the people. . “The campaigns leading to the elections almost polarized the country into Christian vs Muslims and North vs South divide. . Most World leaders were worried that our elections will result into major crisis. Some pundits even from here in the United States said that those elections would spell the end of Nigeria and that we would cease to exist as a nation because of the polls. . That is where the leadership question comes into play. . As a leader that was duly elected by the people, I considered the people’s interest first. . How do I manage my people to avoid killings and destruction of properties? . With the interest of the people propelling all the decisions I took, we were able to sail through.
Indeed, we sailed through because I refused to interfere with the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having appointed a man I had never met in my life to run it. We sailed through because I maintained and still believe that my personal ambition, interest is not worth the blood of any single Nigerian. . My philosophy was simple. For elections to be credible, I as a leader, must value the process more than the product of the process. And the citizens must have confidence in the electoral body. . lalasticlala Pls circulate it for them to know. The deceit is getting too much but y did u hand over ur cap to him?r u not seeing that is to big 4 his head?now e don cover him face, him no day see anything. |
