Hello mommas, presenting my princess at 6 weeks...

Good day mamas. Let me rant.

Have had it up to my throat.. Am I the only one going through post partum depression? Why are in-laws so opinionated... Why?! Why?!! Things are not the same..not jealous but everyone that calls or comes around asks only about baby.. They be like "how's your baby?" , "how's baby doing?", " is baby sleeping?", "has the baby taken his bath?"(forgetting its just me doing everything. Mother couldn't stay bcus of her business,
so I learnt what she taught and took from there. Sigh ),. In-laws comes around everyday bcus they live close by.. They comes to see if baby is bathed early and not late forgetting I'll need to sleep that morning bcus baby disturbs every night. So I used early mornings to sleep and get up like 8 to do chores and eat before bathing baby by 10am. But in-laws as always judgmental as they are would come earlier to see if I have and if I havnt they begin to judge their heads. Its not their fault. How can one get over such. Hubby goes to work early in the mornings of which I have to prepare his lunch for him before going back to bed. Can't continue, so much to talk..... I'm just wondering if am the only one? Any ways baby would be 3months soon and he'll be going to church this Sunday.. Thank God! Its been one hell of a three months.. From going through hot water section after delivery, heat, sleeping without fan and light bcus of baby...(I almost died.. If that's the definition of omugwo I'm never doing again). In all I Thank God for myself, my baby and hubby.

Besides all that, what is the effect of taking carbonated drinks as a breastfeeding mother to her baby?

Nwanyi oma, please don't be hard on yourself, you've done well so far, no in-law loves your LO better than you, neither do they have the right to choke you. You know your strength and capabilities, work at your own pace, ignore negative comments, rest as much as you can and never strive to please anyone bad-mouthing you. You cannor coman goan kill yourself joor.
For me, even as a FTM, my omugwo has been sweet, I don't allow anyone stress or bug me unnecessarily and I ignore over-sabi people. Mid April my DD will be dedicated at 2 months (just the way hubby and I planned it, no room for unnecessary family interference oh).

OP, I think it is demeaning to ask strangers to 'rate your babe'.
Between she is pretty, happy birthday to her.

I’m a first time mum, so FTms how early or late did your baby arrive? What date range do you suggest he gets his ticket for so he can arrive and most likely be with me at delivery.

Hello momma, as a FTM my initial EDD from LMP was 20th February, ultrasound gave a second EDD as 22nd February. I birthed my DD on 17th February (though hubby and I had some real good sex on 16th night which I partly believed stimulated labour that 17th morning).
Probably, you should give 5 days to 1 week before your EDD.

My princess arrived this afternoon 25/2/18 at about 1:30pm via VBAC weighing 3.7kg with little tear . Mummy is fine, princess (chizirimuzo) is fine and daddy is rejoicing .

Our yummy, oyibo-pepper princess arrived this afternoon by 2pm via VD with tear weighing 3.7kg after a sharp sharp labour. It was indeed a 'Hebrew Women' delivery.
Baby, mummy and daddy all doing great and rejoicing. God will make it smooth and easy for all waddling mommas.
