Car Talk › Re: Let's Build A Car by doe: 3:06pm On Aug 18, 2016 |
Is it not better to chose the chassis of an existing car and build or form your own panels around it? Engine lump can be any affordable one that fits the project. All the other bits can be sourced from various vehicles.
Looking to do a VW or 404/504 project in the near future. |

Make sure you try the bike for size.
Get a hybrid if you can find one or else get an MTB and run slick tyres to go faster.
If its fairly flat where you are then gearing will not be an issue. But more gears means it easier on the climbs.
make sure u wear an helmet at all times. If your brain, there is no fix.

If I take coartem cos I know it works for me and upon request a pharmacist tells me he's got a better one, he is supposed to lecture me on the drug administration and side effects.
In naija they only tell u administration (dosage) and tell u bye-bye.
Your ignorance stems from an "ITK" mentality it ain't your fault sha. It's the black man's curse Lol...funny your comment above is a clear example of ITK. I will leave you to continue to wallow in your ignorance |

Davvymavvy: This logic is skewed, so, because some Doctors make mistakes viz a viz prescription errors and wrong diagnosis, they should not be allowed to diagnose and prescribe again? Pharmacist are not doctors. They are suppose to dispense drugs prescribed by a doctor. Not become doctors themselves. |

DABMarkNig2019: but do you know there's something call responsible self medication? not everything about self mediation is bad especially when one has a chronic condition. The more reason he should have refused the pharmacist recommendation. This whole episode shows the federal govt needs to put laws in place so only doctors can prescribe and chemist cannot dispense without a valid one. Except for mild painkillers and other mild drugs |
Car Talk › Re: I Am Driving From Abuja To Lagos. Advice Needed Please!!! by doe: 6:48pm On Jul 10, 2016 |
Fit2Rule: Best route: Lagos - Shagamu - Benin - Ekpoma - Okene - Lokoja Road. It's a bit farther though but you'll escape the traffic ridden Lagos Ibadan expressway 'cos of repair works; and the very bad Okene - Akure road. Goodluck. Don't try this route. Benin auchi via ekpoma is hell to pass. |
Car Talk › Re: I Am Driving From Abuja To Lagos. Advice Needed Please!!! by doe: 6:46pm On Jul 10, 2016 |
Just park at God is good motors and follow the Abuja motor. Or else your best route is via ife, ondo ibiblo(auchi) then join express to lokoja and Abuja near okpilla. Don't go via benin as the road from benin to auchi will destroy your car. As for papers, either get up to date tint paper or hold enough pay to clear yourself. Customs will not bother you except u dey very unlucky |

armadeo: This isn't a smart statement. He listened to an individual more experienced than himself and you are saying nobody forced him.
Back to topic.
If he was prescribed ciprofloxacin and the pharmacist changed it then the pharmacist is at fault.
However I wouldnt lay the blame entirely on her because he may not be aware of his sensitivity to that drug and it could also have been prescribed by his doctor.
Thank God he is safe. No. I disagree. He reacted to the alternative. The pharmacist won't know that. He the patient should have insisted on his tried and tested drug. Moreover there is no regulations of drugs in Nigeria. Everyone self prescribe and take advice from all sorts. The end result is usually this. If the patient had a valid prescription then the pharmacy would be to blame. |

Ignorance litter this thread.
A little read will tell you the treatments in place do suppress the virus to undetectable levels. Hence Hiv+ people are having negative children and not passing the virus to their partner. If the OP is not just making up the story then i will suggest you seek advice from a doctor or a relevant NGO to give you good advice.
