You know how the next 30years will be?
We are not talking spiritual at the moment. If we were, we shouldn't even be talking about 2023 in the first place.

We are simply analysing issues as humans (all things remaining same) just like one has a child and say he/she will be a graduate in 25years to come, without considering that the child can decide dropout of school to pursue other ambitions.

That's why we all should not be too passionate about any of this.

Yorubas miscalculated and created enemy for themselves with their Southeast and Southsouth brothers they ought to have stood with or at least not condemn them so viciously like they have been doing since 2015 that they connived against Goodluck, supported the bias removal of CJN Onnoghen.

Power will return back to PDP, definitely to a Northern politician, most probably Kwankwaso or Atiku or Tambuwal or any other Northern politician that PDP will field in 2023!

APC is a Lagos party without Buhari in the picture!

So in 2023 when Buhari completes his tenure, he will become a docile siddon de look while his Northern brothers put their cars on reverse gear back to PDP to ensure power remains in the north.

And of course Southeast and Southsouth will vote massively for PDP's Northern candidate to ensure they pay Yoruba people back their attacks and hatred on SE and SS!

By then, we will see how Southwest will win 2023 Presidential election.

The only way APC can possibly remain in power in 2023 is to field a Northern candidate like El Rufai, Nuhu Ribadu, which Tinubu and Southwest will never accept, so 2023 will be super fun to witness, God please keep me alive and healthy to witness the events
To your last statement I say a big Amen.

Get my hopes up? The only thing I'm hoping for is the disintegration of this entity called Nigeria.

For your info, Yorubas have always been in the opposition in Nigerian politics except for the last four years. So what exactly do you think a Yoruba presidential loss will mean to the average Yoruba?

Jonathan sidelined the Yorubas in his government and gave most of the juicy positions to Igbo women. He has learnt his bitter lesson I hope.
Better.

The disintegration part is the way forward.

Lol. The same southeast that can't make Atiku President?

The same southeast that couldn't help Jonathan retain his seat as President?

You are joke Mr man.

The only person that will be buried politically is whoever is stupid enough to accept your support.

Jonathan did and he's now buried politically.

Fayose did, and he's now buried politically.

Saraki did, and he's now buried politically.

Atiku did, and now he's buried politically.

Agbaje did, and now he's lost again.

All you are good at is online chest beating.

Even your Biafra is buried totally. Maybe if it was the I jaws or Itshekiris or Edos that wanted Biafra, maybe by now the would have gotten it.

But your mere association with Biafra has made it a failure and an impossibility.

If I were you, I'd meditate on that.
2023 is not far.

My advice is that you don't get unnecessarily passionate about a 2023 SW president so that you don't get heart broken. Because it will only happen if Buhari dies in office, or the northerners reject their own for Tinubu, Osibanjo or Fashola. Be honest with yourself, how possible do you think this is?

We have nothing to hide.
Absolutely.

Beyond all these, the PDP is willing to do everything and anything to get national power back. The strongest individual northern politician is in pdp (kwankwaso), and he wants the presidency by all means. Buhari is too selfcenterd to bother about anything else, especially in 4 years time when he'll be older and more demented. The APC would be having so much internal issues because the SW would be demanding power as its right, while the wise ones amongst them would be routing for a northern candidate so that they don't lose power to PDP. Meanwhile, SE/SS would have already aligned behind the northern PDP candidate.

The truth is that the only way SW can get power in the next 30 years in Nigeria is if Buhari dies in office. With the look of things, it will hardly happen.

It was my useless governor that pleaded with the people to give Buhari the 50k votes because he had promised Buhari 25%. He actually wanted to give him up to 100k but was resisted by his boys.

It is very sad that your forefathers bequeathed such lack of self-worth to you.

You are doing yourself and thinking you are others.
I laugh you. Call us slaves all you can, but the truth is that at the root of every igbo man's heart is a deep desire for independence as against igbo presidency.

When pdp was about choosing the VP candidate for Atiku, many igbos, myself inclusive, we're rooting for a Yoruba VP candidate. We are not too bothered about the presidency because that's not the solution to our problems. You can carryout a survey on your own and ask igbos around you.

Truth is that all these things about who is at the presidency is more or less about bragging rights for most people because the true beneficiaries are those close to the people in power (regardless of their tribe). Outside them, every other person is on the same level. Let me ask you, what have you personally benefitted from Osibanjo as vp? Or your governor?

Leave matter abeg.

No be small pity.

For all these Yorubas who are salivating for 2023, don't put your heart in it because it'll be broken so badly.

Except through death of the northern president, no southerner will be president till 2031.

You need to understand that the north Now has full control of national politics, the pdp is willing to give the north the ticket in 2023, and the SE which is the southern region with the right to demand the PDP presidential ticket is not really keen on the presidency. For an average igbo man, just give us a President that will not disturb our lives and can help business, we are okay. Even if APC gives it's presidential ticket to Rochas or Kalu, they will lose woefully to a pdp northern candidate in the South East. And with all the hate and bigotry being spread between the igbos and Yorubas, the SE/SS support for an APC Yoruba candidate will be very low, especially if it's a Tinubu or Osibanjo.

So my guy up there rooting for Osibanjo in 2023, you can wish it but don't put your heart in it.

Bros calm down on this your anti-Tinubu rhetorics.

Tinubu, whether he is a good or bad politician is NOT the cause of your problems or the cause of the problems of Lagos or Nigeria.

There is no Tinubu in Abia or Kwara States, yet these States are quite under-developed.
I'm interested in good governance, and once there is a Godfather on ground, you can't have good governance.
I have been consistent about my dislike for Godfathers. My support for Saraki was simply because I believed he will help kick out Buhari. Other than that, he got served right. And it should be so across board

The only reason why Lagos is making progress at all is because of the level of income it's making. See how broke Osun state became under aregbe and you'll get my point.

I respect Tinubu. As far as I'm concerned, he's the greatest politician I've seen in my lifetime and I doubt if any like him will show up again. But my respect for him doesn't mean I should disregard the ills associated with his grip on Lagos.

Abia and imo states have been cursed with terrible leaders since 1999. But same cant be said of Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra. And I can tell you for free that if these States had anything like godfathers, they wouldn't have made any progress.

The same poorly governed Lagos state woke from ruins by Tinubu in 1999 with just N500 million/month IGR to the 5th economy in Africa and almost N30 billion/month IGR, this is the same city you poor ipob economic migrants cannot wait to run to for survival.

The fact that you are full of hatred and bitterness doesn't mean you shouldn't have basic common sense and even if it was poorly managed, you lots won't be running to a poor and poorly managed place for your daily bread.

If you need a good picture of a poorly managed places, look at your own poor, backward and unproductive towns and villages.

Your matter is understandable. You earn a living licking Tinubus backside.

But shouldn't you be ashamed of yourself that 'foreigners'are coming to your land to compete with you and making great progress, while they are in full charge of their territories and doing very well at that. Those of us here are even unable to compete with our brothers in the east.

We don hear. Since your SE governors are doing so well and stellar, abeg your people should remain in alaigbo and enjoy the 'good governance' you speak of. Lagos is not for everybody. Majority of Lagosians are OK with APC Lagos and have consistently rejected PDP same way Enugu keeps voting for PDP since '99, respect that or shut tha fvvck up.
We have always respected that fact, and that's why nobody is going on a protest. But you should also respect the fact that I have a right to vote and campaign who I chose to vote for. I also have the right to differ from you that Tinubus Lagos is being well governed. Or did I lose the right to have my opinion simply because I live in Lagos and a higher percentage of Lagosians prefer Tinubus lordship over them?

It is your complex problem that is making you feel threatened that igbos can 'put mouth' in the affairs of Lagos. But whether you like it or not, it is what it is and will remain that way except Nigeria divides. I'm sure you know igbos are already in elective offices in Lagos. And when we get to the level of full electronic voting, it will be a permanent thing. You need to learn to live with it. If not, na belus go kill you.

And for your information, I have every right, even much more than a lot of the so called owners of Lagos to desire the type of Lagos that I want. I was born and raised, live, speak the language, do business, and own property in Lagos. By every standard world over, if Lagos where a country, I should have been given citizenship of Lagos, and that's the case with so many igbos in lagos. Live with it cos it's the truth.

You and most of the other Tinubu worshippers here probably don't contribute to the purse of the state so it doesn't bother you how the state is governed. For you once the igbos don't have who they support at Alausa, you are fine. For me, the governance of Lagos is very important, probably more than that of my state at the moment. We do business here, and are faced with all types of taxes and demand notices for things we know neither the head or tail of. I own property here and bothered that my land use charge can be moved from 50k to 400k in a year during an economic recession. You probably are collecting salary from one firm and paying rent. And even if you are self employed, you may be on the higher end or eating fat from Tinubus empire, so you don't know what those who struggle to earn a living while employing many go through. I wouldn't blame you for you posture. But don't blame me for mine.

And on the side note, if you think Lagos is your land, come to my house in ikeja and misbehave in my compound, na that time you go sabi say all these yeye yans on who owns Lagos starts and stops during elections. By the time you land in Area F, you will show me the Police that will let you off the hook simply because you are yoruba and I am igbo.

Sullivan chime blew up hills and filled up valleys to build roads (not a road) of 50km+ without tollgate linking the towns to villages in Enugu state , with the lowest levels of FAAC and very little IGR and didn't even hold commissioning ceremonies before they were put into use. Peter Obi did even more, and the story isn't too different in Ebonyi State, And one ignorant person will sit in his Lagos and be hailing Tinubu and his employees for utilizing less than 30% of the income the state gets and calls it the best level of governance in Nigeria.
