Please you guys should stop all this. The tribunal never declared dakuku the winner of Rivers election neither did the appeal court. The ruling was that fresh elections should be conducted.

No body puts his Ill gotten wealth in the bank. All settlements in Nigeria are done in raw cash. Usually dollars. So you won't see anything reasonable in the TH.

Onoghen might very well be corrupt, but the FG has no case against him.

I have said it severally, the man is the most experienced judge in the land, if he doesn't have a case, he would have accepted the FGs settlement long ago. For him to go through with this case, he will win it.

uzzyke700:
the master stroke that will happen in 2023 is if pdp zone their presidency to the north. which they may likely do. That is , if they present atiku as the flag bearer, he will still pull the same massive support from the south east and to some extent south south if he picks his deputy from these zones, afterall the SW is geared up to produce the next presidential candidate in APC, hence returning power to the north after their 8yrs, so the SE and SS do not have any chance in APC. so there must be a trade off. the SE /SS will weigh their options, vote APC SW and power returns to the north after 8yrs or vote PDP and maybe Atiku who is more detribalized and from the north with an offer of VP? which will make it easier for power to get to the SE/SS. 2023 may mark the end of APC at the helm of affairs with what may play out. those angling for a Sw presidency in 2023 should think twice. the igbos may likely give the north a second chance as a trade off. And i dont think the north would reject such an offer by not voting their kinsman in 2023. no mater what. because it is not likely that they would be better off after buharis 8 yrs presidency, if they are not better of in the first four years, i dont see any magic he would do, besides there no plans as to the strategy he would use to improve on their well being. i think the SW maybe alone in 2023.
You say likely do? PDP has no option than to give it to the north.

Apart from the SS, no other zone will vote for an igbo man and vice versa. Giving it to a Yoruba man is out of it completely.

So it's North. Its either kwankwaso or tambuwal.

No ipob post is complete without empty, shallow, ignorant and unintelligent chest beating..

Nna, let me break it down to you.

You can not show me any credible documented stats that says you are better than the folks outside your ipob village borders and even last time I checked, you can not be better than the rest of Nigeria and still be leaving the comfort of your own towns and villages to do migrant labor, peddle pure water, fan yogo and fake CDs just seek your daily bread and survival from the people you are better than.

Abeg, this is the kind of rubbish you spew @ foreigners, not to Nigeians because we sabi you well weel, your towns and villages are poor and wretched, they are too unproductive to give you jobs or any hope for survival

grin grin grin
Every tribe in Nigeria has more impoverished people that comfortable people. And every state in Nigeria including Lagos has grossly underdeveloped locations. Perhaps you have forgotten that Nigeria itself is a grossly underdeveloped nation.

While you analyse that, the guys you look down on as selling pure water and fan yogo and all the other accessories in traffic jams almost across all states of Nigeria are the south wests equivalent of agberos and dope heads in motor parks following Mc oluomo and his kind all around the place. They come from the poorest homes with no parental assistance whatsoever.

But rather than be useless to themselves and families, they have left their villages to try their luck through hard work in cities near their villages all the way to distant lands. And you know what? In the mind of those guys you see as low lives is the hope that through that 'hustling' as they call it, they can save up and engage in better businesses tmrw.

They are a million times better than your kind. And if they were given a quarter of the opportunity you have had in life, they would have been miles ahead of what you have achieved. And if you had their backgrounds, I would be surprised if you would be better than the agberos littered around motor parks everywhere without future ambition.

Why try to twist the law ? That provision clearly states that once the person with the highest votes but do not have the two third spread, they will be a runofff irrespective of whether anybody has it.it didnt specify that someone with a lower vote but with the spread should be declared.if we go by your warped reasoning, then nwosu who has more spread should be declared winner.dont turn the law upside down.
It therefore means that if two candidates have same number of votes will go to a runoff irrespective of whether they met the spread or not.a winner must have the highest votes and the spread.
During the presidential polls, most of you were also hammering on if buhari met the two third requirement.now you guys want to look the other way.ihedioha is only wasting his time....

Apolitical and unbiased lawyers in the house please help me out.

What if INEC indeed made a mistake in declaring Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), governor-elect in Imo state, as alleged by Uche Nwosu the Action Alliance (AA) candidate.

According to section 179 (2) of the 199 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended);

For a candidate to be declared duly elected to the office of Governor of a State in Nigeria he should win a MAJORITY OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VALID VOTES CAST and must have scored at least 25% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VALID VOTES CAST IN AT LEAST TWO THIRDS OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN THE STATE.

In my free time, I did an analysis of the results announced by INEC and indeed the PDP candidate didn't satisfy the " at least 25% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VALID VOTES CAST IN AT LEAST TWO THIRDS OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN THE STATE " (See the attached Table). The PDP candidate got 25% in only 11 LGAS

I also found out that the total Number of votes announced by INEC is different when summed using excel...

FACTS: The PDP Candidate won in 11 LGAs, AA in 10, APGA in 4 and APC in 2 LGAs.

The analysis was done using the results of the top 5 candidates and not the 71 who contested, simply because these were the only results available online. It is important to note that if the analysis was to be done with the remaining 66 Political parties, these percentages might drop but not significantly since some parties scored zero votes in a few of the LGAs

Mynd44, Seun, Lalasticlala
None of them met the requirement. As a result, simple majority votes carries the day. That's what I think happened.

However, in consideration of the progress made under jega, yakoob has done very badly.

I agree with you. Both parties are fighting for survival and supremacy. 15:20 is very good for PDP in 2023 especially with the spread across the regions, but not good for APC, especially in consideration that Buhari will not be in the picture in 2023, and they haven't really broken into the SS and SE. As a result, they want more states.

I don't blame the APC one bit. My only grouse is the bloodshed.

Your taunts will never make us clamour for presidency in 2023. Whine all you can, we don't care. Most Yoruba's hate the thought of an igbo man as President, while the hausas fear that if the igbo man takes the presidency, he will divide Nigeria. We have accepted our fate, and we are not bothered about it.

No Igbo man has been president since ironsi, and even with the war, we have faired better than every other tribe in Nigeria in almost if not all human development indices at the moment. So why should we trouble ourselves with presidency. It is for you Yorubas to lose sleep over it.

We told them early enough that the APC guy can't win his PU. That 10000 votes u saw there are the votes of his close relatives, APC members, and some hausas.

There are many factors involved in winning elections in Enugu state especially governorship. The rotational agreement is too strong to be altered by anyone. As a result, no zone can go beyond 8 years. If Ayogu had won, nsukka would have had 12 years. Nobody will allow that happen. All this in addition to the fact that nobody wants to hear APC in enugu, and that Ayogu is a very bad person makes even that 10000 suspect.

Rivers elections is not about APC OR PDP supporters.

Ameachi and Wike has personal and long standing Rift to settle.

The same Wike in 2015 was using the same army police and militants to lock up APC members, writing and declaring results.

GEJ was the president.

Today the table has turned and Amaechi wants a PAYBACK.

Wike and PDP is Rigging, Amaechi and AAC is rigging. So whats all this noise about??

Rivers state is peaceful, everybody is going about the normal businesses.

Ameachi's kids are somewhere in Europe and Wikes kids are somewhere in Europe

So, Anybody that decides to get involved in this battle, should sign his will and get ready to die for nothing. I repeat anybody who is foolish enough to get involved have decided to Die and people are ready to help you meet your creator.

Let them keep fighting, when they are done the strongest will emerge, Simple.

I wish Wike Good luck if he survives this.

Wike was saying " no man born of a woman can stop his victory" it is a challenge to APC, BUHARI, RIVERS PEOPLE AND AMAECHI.

We are not in a hurry to know the winner let them keep fighting.
