Honestly, Nigerian foods consist of dishes from the different ethnic groups in Nigeria. From South East, South South, South West to North East, North Central and North West. In reality, Nigeria has a diverse and rich culinary tradition that consists of spices, herbs, palm, and groundnut to make enormously flavored sauces and soup. Numerous ingredients and staples cut across state borders as well. The country just like most of the West African countries like Ghana, Cameroon, Cote D’ivoire etc, has one of the best dishes in the world, and they have different varieties depending on what part of the country one comes from or resides. So if you would love to enjoy mouth-watering foods that will make you love Nigerian recipes and wow your taste bud, I think you should consider traveling to Nigeria to experience this aspect of Nigerian culture and cuisines in a dynamic way. Do you want to take your taste buds on a spectacular journey? If your answer is ‘yes’, then you need to visit Nigeria or Naija as it’s fondly called. However, some of the top soups consumed in the various regions or parts of the country include Egusi soup, Banga soup, Miyan Kuka, Okro soup, Ewedu soup, Pepper soup, Afang, and Edikan Ikon soup. The ingredients used to prepare these soups range from local condiments such as Ugu or pumpkin leaf, processed locust beans or Iru, to vegetables such as spinach, waterleaf, bitter leaf etc. These soups are generally eaten with ‘swallow’, starchy foods such as Akpu or Fufu, Eba, Amala, starch, pounded yam, etc. Due to international influence in the Nigerian food culture by British, Portuguese, Dutch, and other European traders in the early days, spices such as Thyme, Curry, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cloves, Habanero pepper, and Scotch Bonnet are used to garnish so many Nigerian foods. Also, it’s important to know that Nigerian dishes never run out of protein. Various meats such as cow, beef, mutton, and chicken and different species of fish are often used to garnish it to your relish. Also common in the southern regions of the country is the use of seafood such as prawns, periwinkles, clams, snails, and crabs for preparing soups and stews. These dishes will blow your taste buds honestly. In general, rice is consumed in every part of the country either prepared as coconut rice, jollof rice, and fried rice or processed into the traditional dish Pate, which is a combination of rice with ground dry corn, spinach, tomatoes, onion, peppers, garden eggs, locust beans, groundnuts, biscuit bones, and minced meat. Pate is commonly eaten in northern part of Nigerian states such as Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Plateau, Nasarawa, Adamawa, Sokoto etc. Healthy Nigerian Foods That Will Make You Love Nigerian Recipes? Sometimes, out of the huge excitement that characterises sex or the zeal to explore their sexuality, people go beyond the normal sexual intercourse or pre-intimacy and they try out other things that could make the experience a great one such as “giving head”. One of such things people do for a supposed better sexual experience is to practise MouthAction, which involves using the mouth, lips or tongue to stimulate the penis (an act known as MouthAction); the testicles; the vagina (an act known as cunnilingus); clitoris; the genital area or even the anus (anilingus). It is also known as Mouth Action. To some, especially people who don’t do it, it is particularly disgusting, as they would readily remember that these sex organs are also used for discharging certain wastes such as urine or menstrual wastes out of the body. But those who do it claim that it is exciting, sexually satisfying and that it rules out the possibility of unwanted pregnancy. One such testifier by name Tina Duth says “Just make sure it is all clean, washed before you put you put your mouth to it. I love sucking penis and have never fallen ill from it. “My husband and other men in life have licked my vulva several times and they have never complained. I don't let anyone lick me before I clean myself. “I also keep a shaved pussy. I also made my men remove hair from area that I needed to put in my mouth. I guess hair is not healthy. So keep it without hair and keep it washed. “If you are thinking that penis or vulva is where urine comes out, and hence it is not wise to put mouth there then that's not a real issue healthwise. “It causes immense pleasure to the receiving person. Typically the person giving the mouth takes pleasure from the fact that these are causing immense sexual pleasure to the receiver. “I personally love how a small penis becomes all excited in my mouth, tightens up as I play with it my mouth with my tongue. “I love how my man groans and how all his strength goes away when his semen bursts into my mouth. I love how he is so grateful to me once I do this to him. When someone gives me head, I feel much better than any intercourse or fingering. It's the softness and rubbing in the process that gets me. “My body gets off with an earth shattering orgasm that keeps me blushing throughout the rest of the act. So let go of your inhibitions and enjoy it than worrying about it.” With that said, what are the risks of licking penis or vagina? How risky is it?... https://doksblog.com/what-are-the-risks-of-licking-penis-or-vagina/

It sounds like a scene from a trashy sex comedy. But stories of getting stuck during sex have been with us for centuries - and some of them might just be true. Penis stuck in the vagina! It sure sounds like a myth right? I assure you, it is a very rare but quite possible that during sexual intercourse it is very possible for a penis to get stuck inside a vagina during the act, even without the help from ‘Village people’. The penis becoming stuck in the vagina is one possible outcome of a condition called vaginismus, in which the vagina involuntarily closes due to muscle spasms in the pelvic floor. Let's take dog for instance. Many dog-owners will have seen their pets getting stuck during copulation, which breeders refer to as a "tie". However, there are distinct anatomical reasons for this, according to an expert in animal reproduction at the University of Minnesota. A dog's penis has a compartment which fills with blood after intercourse has begun, effectively locking the male in place. However in human, muscles of the vagina clamp down on the penis more firmly than usual making it impossible for the penis to withdraw freely from the vagina......... https://doksblog.com/can-penis-get-stuck-in-the-vagina-during-sex/

In a country where there are so much to worry about (instability almost everywhere, economic hardship…..), there are some many negative situations that can drive one into a state of constant stress, malaise, anxiety or depression. As individuals, we must be proactive and careful about our well-being, and also find ways to take care of our body and mind. We all know that trying to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle, especially in Nigeria, is quite expensive. Everyone wants to take the easy way out. However, below are few tips and tricks that can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle without spending too much in this very country commonly known as NAIJA: How Can You Ensure A Healthy Living In Nigeria? Eat Balanced Diet Eating a healthy, balanced diet is one of the core elements of self-care. Our bodies require sufficient nutrients and hydration to exist and be in the right shape. Aldo, our daily food choices affect our overall health. Nigerians believe that eating healthy diet involves spending huge amount of money but that idea is actually false. A healthy diet translates to you knowing what is actually right for your general well-being. Remember your body requires protein, vitamins, fibre, carbohydrate, fat, minerals for proper development and you can get all these from your well-organised diet that includes unprocessed meat, fish, vegetables, sea foods, fruits and nuts. All these are not far-fetched from your environment as a Nigerian. Manage your income and balance your diet for a healthy living. Exercise Regularly Exercise is not just beneficial physically, but also mentally. Regular exercise can improve your physical health, decrease your risk for serious health conditions, help you feel better emotionally, improve your sleep, and also help you feel more confident and motivated. As a Nigerian, you have a lot of opportunity to keep yourself fit. You can maintain a low key lifestyle (which is healthy) by walking down the street, trek to the nearby market, walk to the nearest bus-top, participate in evening football training section (if possible, but that is my favourite) or walk to that newspaper stand. Ever wonder how our predecessors lived a healthy life? They lived by involving themselves in regular physical activities. Most of them might not be aware of the impact, but it was actually the contributing factor to their healthy living. They have no time for sedentary lifestyle such as spending much time on screen among others. We too can incorporate that constructive lifestyle, because it’s in our bloodline. Remember that being active doesn’t require the whole six (6) geo-political zones in Nigeria rather it requires engagement to daily chores. Get Enough Sleep Many young Nigerians suffer from sleep deprivation. For some, it is inevitable; returning home from work or school late, waking up early to beat traffic. For others, they’re simply unable to stop Facebooking, Tweeting or watching premier league, La liga, movies until its well-past midnight. Regularly getting a good night’s sleep is proven to improve your mental and emotional health, increase your lifespan and keep you alert and sharp. Spend Time Around Positive People Did you know that people around you can MAKE or MAR you? The people around you have a huge impact on your life. It’s important to consider the people you’re spending quality time with, the same way you think about what you eat and how you’re exercising. Papa Ada might be good in BetNaija, but is that what you want? Nnenna is there gossiping about Amaka’s achievements, is that all that matters? What about uncertainties (the very enemy of investment)? What about you achieving your dreams and goals? What about tomorrow? How to succeed and the smart strategies to use ought to be your focal point of discussion. And there are positive people like that who can encourage you to move forward despite your lapses. Therefore, stay with positive people. Avoid Smoking Or Drinking Irresponsibly Have you been in psychiatric hospital before? Well, I personally work in such an environment. I know this very one is difficult bearing in mind how Nigerian current society operates now. But one of the hazardous situations that is injurious to one’s health is drinking and smoking irresponsibly, it affects one’s life span such that the body system of such an individual is badly affected. The result of many mad people roaming your street might not actually be JUJU (evil spirit placed on people), rather as a result of indulging in dilapidating lifestyle such as drinking and smoking irresponsibly. Routine Medical Check-Ups I discussed about routine regular medical check-up in our previous article but it was specifically for pregnant mothers. But same is applicable to all because of its importance. As a Nigerian, we find it so hard to go for routine medical check-ups. This might be as a result of insufficient fund or negligence on health matters. The simple truth is; always try and visit the hospital once in a while to see how your body is functioning and if you are living right. It could be every six months or so, but make it a routine. Finally, e no easy for people in Naija but God will always see us through in all our HUSTLE… How can you ensure a healthy living in Nigeria? During pregnancy and breastfeeding, women experience dramatic and rapid breast changes. In fact the most they’ll experience in their whole lives! Many women worry that breastfeeding will make them have saggy breast or boobs, but in actual fact, it’s the changes that occur during pregnancy that are more likely to be the culprit. The dramatic increase in size and subsequent fluctuations will cause the skin to STRETCH and CONTRACT. This puts a fair degree of stress on the skin as it has to adapt based on breast mass. Just like your pregnant belly, the ability for the skin to recover from stretch is largely down to genetics, and the stress which increased breast size and weight puts on the skin. However, while there’s no magic cure for sagging, a few things can help keep it to a minimum and preserve a younger more youthful appearance after pregnancy and breastfeeding. Many times, anklets or ankle bracelets mostly worn by ladies around the ankle attract disapproval from people in our society especially here in Nigeria. Before I move further, I know this write up will stir up the door for series of hot arguments among friends and readers, on the basis of morality and personal views or exegesis. As for me though, everyone’s views count but for the debaters, I have just a question for you. What does this reference book, the Bible, says concerning anklets or ankle bracelets? The Bible made mention of anklets twice (Isaiah 3:16…..). “Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts. “In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, the chains, and the BRACELETS, and the mufflers, the bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, the rings, and nose jewels, the changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, the glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.” If you take a critical look at the verses just above, you will realize that Bible itself is not against wearing of anklets. Therefore, if you are a debater or you have a strong dislike or opposition to ankle bracelets, the early you “switch carpet”, the better for you. However, one of the loathed and bashed fashion sense is ankle bracelet, which was symbolic in ancient Africa, but it’s meanings aren’t as extended as they once were. Still, the African culture or perhaps fashion culture imbibed in it is intact. Yes, I attest to that. But what does ankle bracelets mean?.......... https://doksblog.com/african-ankle-bracelets-meaning/

You may have heard that white quinine can be used to prevent pregnancy and also that white quinine can be used for abortion. Is it really so, but how safe is it? What will happen after using quinine in the first trimester of pregnancy? Let's consider this. White quinine: is it good for your health or not? One very important disadvantage of home remedies against pregnancy is that if something works for one person, it may not really work for another. This, of course, depends on many factors, but primarily on the characteristics of each individual body system. One of these home remedies for preventing pregnancy is white quinine. Quinine should only be used for the treatment of falciparum malaria. It is the first-line remedy for the treatment of multidrug-resistant falciparum malaria. Now, however, Plasmodium falciparum is resistant to chloroquine. Sometimes it is used in combination with pyrimethamine/sulfadoxine. Also, this medicine can be found in tonics. The drink was invented to combat malaria in India and Africa. At one time the soldiers of the British East India company mixed the tonic with gin to get the sharp taste of quinine, and that's how a popular cocktail named gin and tonic was invented. Can Quinine Flush Out Sperm Or Can Quinine Cause Miscarriage?.......CONTINUE TO FIND OUT...... https://doksblog.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=10148&action=edit

Years back when I was at home with my mother, she usually sends me to nearby shop to get Guinness stout and “Peak milk”. Though she will deliberately give me to drink after mixing the two, but I personally don’t like the bitter taste of the combination. The sole reason why I managed taking it then was that, my mother made me to believe that the combination is “good to my health.” And she knows, I don’t joke with my health, coupled with the fact that I like anything healthy. However, when I got admission into the university after some couple of years, I met a close friend who normally drank Guinness stout with milk every weekend. And when I decided to ask him about the benefits of taking Guinness stout and milk, he answered and said, “I get relaxed with my skin looking refreshed after taking it.” That’s just it, even when I took it. You too can try and share your experience as well. But before I conclude on the health benefits of Guinness stout and milk, let us consider separately, in brief, the health benefits of Guinness stout and that of milk. Benefits Of Guinness Stout Famously known as ‘the black stuff or made of more,’ Guinness stout is loved and enjoyed all over the world with Nigeria included, but it’s hard to think of it because of the bitter taste. But something about the slightly bitter taste of Guinness has convinced most Nigerians that it has medicinal benefits. It is not out of place to see a Nigerian, especially ladies, having a bottle of Guinness just to combat stomach aches. You know, when a people believe that something is beneficial to their health, it is easy for them to love it. As well as being cited as having health benefits for pregnant women, Guinness stout was thought to be a good source of iron and therefore useful during pregnancy or breast feeding. However, if the truth be known, Guinness contains a barely 0.3mg of iron per pint. Benefits Of Milk Milk has been enjoyed throughout the world for thousands of years. By definition, it’s a nutrient-rich fluid that female mammals produce to feed their young. The most commonly consumed types come from cows, sheep and goats. Milk consumption is a hotly debated topic in the nutrition world, so you might wonder if it’s healthy or harmful. However, below are science-backed health benefits of milk so you can decide if it’s the right choice for you. Milk Is Packed With Nutrients The nutritional profile of milk is impressive. After all, it’s designed to fully nourish newborn animals. Milk is a rich source of protein, which is necessary for many vital functions in our body, including growth and development, cellular repair and immune system regulation. Just one cup (244 grams) of whole cow’s milk contains: Calories: 146 Protein: 8 grams Fat: 8 grams Calcium: 28% of the RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance) Vitamin D: 24% of the RDA Riboflavin (B2): 26% of the RDA Vitamin B12: 18% of the RDA Potassium: 10% of the RDA Phosphorus: 22% of the RDA Selenium: 13% of the RDA In addition, milk is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, including “nutrients of concern,” which are under-consumed by many populations. It provides potassium, B12, calcium and vitamin D for healthy bones and skin, which are lacking in many diets. Milk is also a good source of vitamin A (for good eyesight), magnesium, zinc and thiamine (B1). Additionally, it’s an excellent source of protein and contains hundreds of different fatty acids, including omega-3. Health Benefits Of Guinness Stout And Milk It Gives Vitamins And Iron According to an article from the Institute of Brewing, a pint of Guinness is full of nutrients, including all the B vitamins, except B12, which is contained in milk. Vitamins play a vital role in helping our bodies convert food into fuel. Three pints of stout ALONE will give you roughly the equivalent of a single yolk egg and contain 3% of an adult’s recommended daily dose of iron, which can help boost your energy levels if you’re feeling a bit sluggish. It Gives Blood Because Of Iron Content Although not in milk, Guinness has 0.3 milligrams of iron per beer, which is about 3% of an adult’s daily recommendation iron intake. That may not seem like a lot but given that most adults fail to reach the recommended 19 mg/day, every little bit helps. Iron is an important component of hemoglobin, the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to transport it through your body. Guinness was actually once given to post-operative patients and pregnant women for this reason. No wonder my mother wants me to drink it, maybe for blood as well. It Contains Antioxidants Yes, the combination contains antioxidants, but how? Guinness stout contains nearly twice the amount of antioxidants found in light-coloured lagers. Guinness Stout is packed with flavonoids, the antioxidants that give fruit and vegetables their dark colour. Are you surprised? Antioxidants are molecules that neutralise free radicals, unstable molecules that can harm your cells. We usually find them in foods such as raspberries, kale and artichokes, even in many other fruits, vegetables and nuts. The health benefits associated with a diet packed with plants are at least partially due to the variety of antioxidants they provide your body. Guinness stout and milk will give just that. In addition, getting enough antioxidants in your system is great for your heart. Slowing down the deposit of cholesterol on artery walls, this can help reduce blood clots and the risk of heart attacks. It Supports A Healthy Heart Like mentioned above, Guinness contains “antioxidant compounds” similar to those found in fruits and vegetables that slow down the deposit of cholesterol on artery walls. This can help reduce blood clots and ultimately the risk of heart attacks. It Supports Better and Healthy Bones The combination of Guinness stout and milk may promote bone density given the plant hormone phytoestrogen that is found in the beer and Calcium found in milk. Vitamin D found in milk protects the teeth and bones and defends against diseases such as osteoporosis. On top of building bones and keeping them healthy, calcium enables our blood to clot, our muscles to contract and our hearts to keep beating.............CONTINUE... https://doksblog.com/health-benefits-of-guinness-stout-and-milk/

No, it’s not true. Touching or massaging breasts does not make them grow. There’s a lot of wrong information about breast development out there. Some of the things you may hear are outright cons — like special creams or pills that make breasts bigger, they don’t work! Others are myths — some girls who want smaller breasts think that sleeping in a bra or wearing a bra that’s too small can keep breasts from growing, but that’s also not true. In reality, genes and hormones determine breast growth. Some girls develop earlier, others later, and a girl’s breasts can keep growing and changing into her late teens. Every girl wants to be proud of her body. There are things you can do — like eating well and getting enough exercise and sleep — to help your body develop in a healthy way. Don’t feel shy about talking to your DOCTOR or health care provider if you have questions about your body and how it is developing. Your DOCTOR is used to answering questions like this, and he or she will be able to give you advice about your individual growth and development. Benefits Of Breast Massage Breast Massage Reduces The Risk Of Breast Cancer Scientific research shows that massaging your breasts helps fight cancer. In fact, “nipple stimulation encourages blood flow and promotes the production of a useful female hormone, which encourages cells to expel cancer-causing chemicals from breast ducts,” says Professor Tim Murrell, of the Department of Community Medicine, at the University of Adelaide. Regular breast massage can also alert you of changes in your breast tissue so you can take quick measures to heal. To continue...https://doksblog.com/what-are-the-effects-of-pressing-breasts/
