1. God should bless MBuhari & CBNGov cos they decided to go through pains, face public outcry just to do one good thing which will improve our lives for the better.
I believe that this is one of the most positive policies if not the only one, this administration has done and it’s very bad to feel entitled, instead They deserve accolades for trying while we keep hoping that it’s overall objectives won’t be defeated.
2. The constitution supports that the government of the day carry out whatever actions which will promote safety, economic independence of the nation.
Since the advent of banditry and Kidnappings, it’s all been evil happenings every day or minute but since the redesign, how many kidnapping stories have you heard?? these bandits have taken off time to try to get their accumulated cash sorted out, thus giving security operators more time to implement counter measures as to tackling the security menace.
When there is a policy change, there’s always that period of adjustment, as such, it’s very wrong to conclude too early that this particular policy has induced sufferings; meanwhile should Nigerians, quit irresponsible behavior, shun that feeling of entitlement, accept what’s given with positivity then it can only get better.
You want a decent Nigeria? Yet you’re quick to drag a policy which will control the possession of huge amounts of liquid cash by certain individuals
For eg, before now, an 18 year old with no proof of funds can walk into the bank, withdraw 5m cash, no questions are raised

3. take a look around you, with time due to the demand for cash, prices of agricultural products like pepper, vegetables etc will drop or rather the quantities will increase accordingly, there was a reported example recently on NL FP
4 it is the duty of the CBN to partner with INEC and other federal bodies for a free and fair elections
Otherwise why has it been convenient in the past years to store election materials at CBN locations all over the country.
If the above is valid, then the redesign plan is also a useful tool to reduce politician’s access to stockpiles of cash as was seen before
Note that vote buying can’t be eliminated but instead can be reduced as not all politicians will have access to the new cash and they won’t be able to stockpile as much as before

5. People should shun the greed of making mountains out of mere mole hills, the different scenes at the banks, if it were a saner climate, those perpetrators ought to be jailed ASAP
The POS people are greedy, they’re exploiting this policy in every way due to their greed and plunging the masses into stress and chaos
Should they shun this greed, the negative effects of this change will be greatly reduced and everyone will be happy
6. All aforementioned reasons make this singular policy a good one
PS: I’ve suffered also from the naira redesign, 2 days ago, I had to pay 3,600 to withdraw 30k but I don’t blame the government, I blame the pos operators who have let greed control them but yet will be the first to cry and wail about the performance of the government

the current queue at the banks is one of the way it's affecting a common man. The new notes are scarce till now just a day to it's invalidity, an yet to touch the 200 and 500 version. This is unusual unlike the 1984 and other exchanges I have witnessed

The common man wants to make transactions, he simply gets the account number of the person he needs to send the money to, make transfer, send the slip as confirmation of payment.
How else do you think the implementation of daily withdrawal limits will work without mopping up of excess cash.
You wanted him to stop banditry, good, he’s doing that, by changing legal tender, the bandits will have to either change their mode of ransom collection which will make it otherwise very convenient for security agents to track them.
You want free and credible elections? If this model proceeds as planned, then politicians who have already stockpiled cash will hurriedly deposit these money in their various accounts, since it’s an unplanned situation, EFCC in liaison with the banks can atleast chase whoever they can easily and reduce vote buying & the overall pull of money on the elections
You want price reduction of local goods; everyone knows that the lesser the volume of physical cash flow exchange, there will be a big effect on price reduction of local goods.
The common man doesn’t need to carry much physical cash, the common man should take out time to educate his neighbors to adjust accordingly
So in one way, this is a way of financial education for the masses, call it upgrade
You wanted him to cut cost of government, then it should occur also that since the new designs are simple enough, then it should follow that production cost will also be reduced to a level.

The South is not ready for presidency, otherwise Tinubu would have stepped down during the primaries or throw his support for Peter Obi in the south while still actively dragging with Atiku in the north.
Tinubu is an excellent man, no one’s perfect. as the end justifies the means, he did whatever he did but contributed enormously to the growth of the society (developed Lagos), no matter whatever side gains he’s made from it, who work suppose surely chop.
