The whole premise of your essay is pretty obvious but i understand the need to reiterate it nevertheless.

I'll argue the biggest problem in the North isn't intellectual laziness - a product of lack of ambition, but instead lack of the right direction.

Africa really has no hope when people like Blac chyna are looking to exploit a country like Nigeria and the government doesn't have a functional body to ban her product.

The stats are only fitting for very poor countries and Nigerias inclusion exposes the low level of HDI that plagues the country especially in the North.

I know a barber who is finding it hard to cope financially, always hailing me for money.

I asked him how kids does he have and he mentioned 4

I told him that's enough but he disagreed with a smile saying his target was 6 kids. I tried to dissuade him but the smile on his face told me I was fighting a losing battle.

Should I give him money the next time he hails me? I yam confused grin
You need to stop encouraging his habits and instead save some capital to enable you to get out of that country. Nigeria is a sinking country with no hope in sight. I pity the hard working progressive folks still living in Nigeria as the storm currently brewing will eventually consume them all.

All the best.

Let's assume this fantasy talk is possible, the structural inflation that'll come with this kinda of growth won't be funny.

Social, environmental and economic mess will take years to clean up.

Nigeria doesn't have the financial institution, service sector to manage and sustain this level of growth.

This is a type 2 carriageway something of which you can't find in Nigeria.

Ideally, this is what you'll expect on a major road like Lagos Ibadan express way but corruption, tribalism and lack of foresight wouldn't allow this.
Politics / Re: Ambode: Tinubu Consults Governor’s Advisory Council Today by Dollyak(f): 9:17am On Sep 19, 2018
It is absolutely wrong of anyone to take a self appointed position of authority by dictating terms to Lagos.

There's is something seriously wrong with Nigerians pilitical systems of godfatherism.

I'll consider this an insult personally if i was a Lagosian as effectively your vote doesn't matter in the scheme of things.

The question is, what's his mental stste like, his emotional intelligence, judgement etc.

Before you blame Buhari, have you bothered to ask yourself what the States government of these States have done to curb these menace?

Don't get me wrong o, buhari has a crucial role to play, but then, i suppose there are reasons why we have the state government? Are part of the reasons not security? Could you then please highlight what the state governments in these state have done in their own might to correct the situation? And why is Buhari taking the whole blame alone?

Besides, i have prove he's doing something about the whole thing, but first please address my points above.
They too are failing. Then again, bases on repeated statement from many governors, they are powerless as all the securities agencies are controlled by the federal government. Can you please explain what more they could have done as it seems their hands are tied.

This is so sad and devastating. It worries me that Nigerians now appears desensitize to these killings. Buhari, has failed massively in the issue of security and by all measure has failed in governance.

I don't understand why any intelligent person could support Buhari for 2019, when there are so much insecurities all over the country. It is often said that the most solemn duty of a president is to protect his people, something of which Buhari has failed at.

There is a reason why Winston Churchill was voted as the greatest Briton of all time over Sir Isaac Newtorn and also voted the greatest prime minister alongside Clement Attlee. The simple reason was because of security/Leadership they provided during/Post-Word War II.

How can you lot rate a president because of anti corruption campaign that has so far shown to be a red herring. Even the reported massive infrastructure wouldn't be enough to push his rating over 5, with the insecurities all over the countries.

My opinion after years of witnessing the same bu$hitt on nl is that majority of Igbos on nl are insecure unintelligent bastards.
The whole psychological warfare of Yoruba muslims/Christian is getting a bit boring and ineffective.
Igbos know they can't achieve their biafra without the help of the Yorubas, but are too proud to admit, lobby and negotiate. So instead, they resort to the childish game of taunting divide and conquer in a bit to force Yorubas hands, but Yorubas are wiser than that.

Its a shame to witness such level of hatred and vitriol and I hope it isn't a reflection of large of number if Igbos in Nigeria.

My advice, if you want to win Yoruba to your side y'all need to di away with the childsihness and hatred but instead embrace peace and diplomacy.

I watched the video clip and it does not show or prove that any money is being share .

If hired protesters are not hired and paid on the streets where they are protesting they would be invited to an office given scripts and placards and paid in the same offices after they have completed their assigment.

How such unfounded anti-govt story finds its way to front page of NL is baffling.
Whether the protesters were paid or not is irrelevant, what I do find disturbing as I also hope you do, is that people are willing to protest against Amnesty for exposing some of the rot in Nigerian government.

This is a shame.
