jeffizy:This analogy would have made more sense if majority of Kogi citizens doesn't want NCDC in their state and not the state government who are more interested in covering up no. of cases. If there is anything we have learned about the infection rate I'll say the probability of Kogi with zero cases is very low - even more so considering interstate movement was only recently banned. Any states not conducting test in the name of propaganda risk undermining the whole effort of other states so it is the responsibility of NCDC to gather as much information about each states and tailor their response accordingly. |
Judging by those pictures I doubt relief materials are the only thing these lots are going to be distributing. Nigerian government needs to drive home the points on social distances. |
What's with the expensive bail in Nigeria. This is disproportionate. |
Condolence to those that'll b3 affected as that looks like a supergrid substation. |
Mynd44:It really isn't simple if the herdsmen are carrying AK47, how do you expect these guys to confront herdsmen and other similar dangerous units? The whole point of creating this security unit was because of the failures of police to protect their fellow citizens and the perceived bias towards herdsmen. A lot of you guys are so naive. |
I doubt any educated and objective Muslim will support this move. |
shiwex:Using an Admd of 2kw per house, It should be able to supply c20-30k houses. |
mapet:Simpleton, no one's IQ is out of this world - Not even people like Isaac Newton's and Galileo. Play the game and not the man. A lot of you guys in Nigeria are easily impressed so I understand your perspective. Btw, in addition to low IQ you guys are also ignorant. |
Africans on aggregate has the lowest IQ, partly down to the never ending assault on intellectualism. Can you imagine this man grinning from ear to ear because of a substandard refurbished rubbish from China |
GoTV:I am not sure if joking or serious. When there's life there is hope for any situation either monetary, relationship, health etc. Keep your head up. |
Wickedfacts:This is not an appropriate response irrespective of past behaviours. |
It appears seyi makinde's performance is beginning to put pressure on other governors. Mind you, this bolds well for SW. |
bjstardom:That makes more sense to me. You can't cheat physics, they would have been burnt alive Building a house so close to the pylon |
Depending on the voltages, you can technically build a house close to (not under)a pylon structure provided the minimum clearance of 6m is reached, of which isn't the case here. I'll be very worried about Earth potential rise and step and touch voltages. Are you sure this isn't a telephone mast? |
23MW? |
There are a lot of illiterates on this thread. If you're contracted to get paid by 25th of every month, you either get paid on or before that date. This is usually the case when 25th falls on a weekend or bank holiday. This wouldn't be a big deal in a normal - functioning country but in Nigeria i guess it's laudable. |
This is just another means to steal more funds |
Mk12:11GW is not enough to power lagos and Ogun let alone Nigeria. In addition 11GW is the peak power and not the distribution load. |
OTayobami:What bread? Y'all better be grateful for the few doctors left in your country. |
Skyfornia:Jayz? |
valarmorghulis:Ladies and gents, the mentality of an average Nigerian. Some things are so stupid is not even worth explaining |
greatbygrace:I think is point is valid. How often do you see aquaplaning on a major runway in developed countries? It's because they always ensure the friction status of the runway are assessed periodically. There are quite a few ways to mitigate against aquaplaning so this is not a valid excuse. |
Reference:You'll normally need at least 3mm of water depths for aquaplaning to occur and that's with a light aircraft which isn't the case in this scenario. Anyways, it's the airport responsibility to ensure the runway is suitable for landing which is the point the previous poster was trying to make by using snow etc. as an example. The sooner you guys stop making excuses for incompetence in Nigeria the better. |
People are easily impressed it seems. |
California and Brighton in England are the strangest places to live. Both are the most leftist, liberal places i know. |
Lifestone:That'll only apply if the king is related to them or if both sisters engage in any sexual activity. |
Can someone please enlighten me on the point of underpass crossing in that section of the road? |
The whole presidential thingy is so shortsighted man. I'll be more concerned about the direction of the country than a presidential slot that hasn't and won't make any difference to my region. As usual most Nigerians (SW included) are easily impressed as shown by few comments above, something of which isn't their fault but a result of a progressive assault on intellectualism in Nigeria. |
There's something wrong with Africans with their obsession with irrelevant projects. Make no mistake China would be getting loads more in return. |
This article is a breath of fresh air. |
And the trade deficit to China grows ever larger. We can't even leverage on our most important resources. Dumb Africans. |
When will y'all learn not to vote for the same old corrupt and incompetent candiate? At the end of the day no one wins with either Buhari or Atiku as they are both deeply flawed and incompetent. |
Suicide on my mind
