Though NCDC has an obligation to fulfill in containment of the virus, but the vehemence put up by Yayah and company begs for a back down.

This analogy would have made more sense if majority of Kogi citizens doesn't want NCDC in their state and not the state government who are more interested in covering up no. of cases. If there is anything we have learned about the infection rate I'll say the probability of Kogi with zero cases is very low - even more so considering interstate movement was only recently banned.

Any states not conducting test in the name of propaganda risk undermining the whole effort of other states so it is the responsibility of NCDC to gather as much information about each states and tailor their response accordingly.

Judging by those pictures I doubt relief materials are the only thing these lots are going to be distributing. Nigerian government needs to drive home the points on social distances.

Depending on the voltages, you can technically build a house close to (not under)a pylon structure provided the minimum clearance of 6m is reached, of which isn't the case here.

There are a lot of illiterates on this thread. If you're contracted to get paid by 25th of every month, you either get paid on or before that date. This is usually the case when 25th falls on a weekend or bank holiday.

11GW is not enough to power lagos and Ogun let alone Nigeria. In addition 11GW is the peak power and not the distribution load.

In as much as I agree with some of your submissions, when comments like " things like this don't come up there" or comments like "only in Nigeria", it waters down your argument.

I think is point is valid. How often do you see aquaplaning on a major runway in developed countries? It's because they always ensure the friction status of the runway are assessed periodically.

There are quite a few ways to mitigate against aquaplaning so this is not a valid excuse.

Have you ever heard of aquaplaning before talking rubbish.

You'll normally need at least 3mm of water depths for aquaplaning to occur and that's with a light aircraft which isn't the case in this scenario.

Anyways, it's the airport responsibility to ensure the runway is suitable for landing which is the point the previous poster was trying to make by using snow etc. as an example.
