What's with the different attires? North and South? |
That sounds like tongue n check to me. It would be a political suicide IMO |
edupedia:My master? Apart from Awolowo I don't care about all other past leaders as I think they have all performed woefully. Save your breath, not everyone is partisan like you lot. |
Rilwayne001:They too are failing. Then again, bases on repeated statement from many governors, they are powerless as all the securities agencies are controlled by the federal government. Can you please explain what more they could have done as it seems their hands are tied. |
Lalasticalala what you saying? |
This is so sad and devastating. It worries me that Nigerians now appears desensitize to these killings. Buhari, has failed massively in the issue of security and by all measure has failed in governance. I don't understand why any intelligent person could support Buhari for 2019, when there are so much insecurities all over the country. It is often said that the most solemn duty of a president is to protect his people, something of which Buhari has failed at. There is a reason why Winston Churchill was voted as the greatest Briton of all time over Sir Isaac Newtorn and also voted the greatest prime minister alongside Clement Attlee. The simple reason was because of security/Leadership they provided during/Post-Word War II. How can you lot rate a president because of anti corruption campaign that has so far shown to be a red herring. Even the reported massive infrastructure wouldn't be enough to push his rating over 5, with the insecurities all over the countries. |
My opinion after years of witnessing the same bu$hitt on nl is that majority of Igbos on nl are insecure unintelligent bastards. The whole psychological warfare of Yoruba muslims/Christian is getting a bit boring and ineffective. Igbos know they can't achieve their biafra without the help of the Yorubas, but are too proud to admit, lobby and negotiate. So instead, they resort to the childish game of taunting divide and conquer in a bit to force Yorubas hands, but Yorubas are wiser than that. Its a shame to witness such level of hatred and vitriol and I hope it isn't a reflection of large of number if Igbos in Nigeria. My advice, if you want to win Yoruba to your side y'all need to di away with the childsihness and hatred but instead embrace peace and diplomacy. |
worksmart:Whether the protesters were paid or not is irrelevant, what I do find disturbing as I also hope you do, is that people are willing to protest against Amnesty for exposing some of the rot in Nigerian government. This is a shame. |
Houseofglam7:No, you wished you were a Nigerian otherwise you wouldn't be slumming around on NL. The joke is on you and your insecure self. All the best anyways. |
Houseofglam7:I can see the reason why a lot of Nigerians bleach their skin. What a disturbing insight you have going on in your psych. So much insecurity. |
kimbraa:what? I think it looks brilliant and suit her. |
This Govt is so out of touch it's unbelievable. |
kenrajmill:Fine. In my opinion, the only message that is relevant is the personal development. Preaching that the whole country should obey God is a waste of time and you also know it.. He needs to lobby for a law that enforce this change of behaviors and attitude of both politicians and fellow Nigerians. He hasn't said what other Old/dead Pastors haven't said since the creation of the nation.... |
Moorish:Literally speaking, in view of making Nigeria great, everyone's view will always be idealistic unless you are in a position of power like Osinbajo. "Change starts with you" mantra and all that is a waste of time without a collective effort from everyone else (statically impossible). Hence, why you need government to force or engineer the change. Asking me what I have done is merely a deflecting tactics as it wouldn't change the perspective of significant number of Nigerians. Irrespective of my contribution, statically speaking, lot of Nigerians with less privilege has probably made a bigger impact on their society. Does that fact invalidate my political voice or yours? Now, the real question is, why hasn't their contribution been able to make any difference for many years. Nigeria has been blessed with many activist over the years, so what happened to their contribution? Mr Genius, why is it that a region was able to make a significant progress under a man called Awolowo than all others (Only for his kinsmen to let him down)? How was Chao Ming able to make such a significant difference, what about Lee Kuan Yew? It's because real change starts from the top, in which case your question will be more relevant to your leaders. Whatever you do is merely scratching an insignificant surface. |
lool.. you could almost predict the same boring idealistic nonsense from these politicians. There are many countries less religious and much more morally bankrupt, that are more prosperous than Nigeria. Humans by nature, are built to do the wrong things if there aren't any consequences. It's the consequences of the behavior that will affect the behavior of Nigerians significantly. In other words, you need a water tight law that is fair, absolute, less ambiguous and binding to change the behavior of the average Nigerians. You also needs strategies to aid growth, improve education, standard welfare etc. Let's talk about strategies that brings about real change and less idealist talk please. |
This is still a relatively poor growth considering Nigeria is an emerging market. You can't break out of poverty with such low growth and it also shows the need to diversify. Oil and agriculture aren't going to produce the magic 5-7% growth anymore. |
Police shouldn't be able to search your phone without a warrant from the court as is the case with most countries. This is just an abuse of power. |
The hatred on this thread is not right. |
This is a slap on the face of all hard working Nigerians. The most shocking thing is that this will soon be forgotten and forgiven. |
NwaAmaikpe:Why do you speak without sense man? Do you really expect a VP to go against the president? Please tell me you are not that simple with your thought process. |
This is quite sad and is a painful reminder why the country shouldn't be together. Nigeria is too big, too diverse to get anything done without tribal politics getting in the way. In addition, the current tribal politics favors elites who are easily protected by their "own". Electricity should be the least of Nigeria's problem but there you go, the self acclaimed "Giant of Africa". |
I almost smashed my phone on the floor, no joke. Alright, logging off nl for today. |
aribisala0:Mr Bushman, you are fooling no one with all these bullz you've written. Why are you so dishonest about what you have no idea about? You have been corrected multiple times about your misinformation on this thread. STOP!! UK does not have more foreign investment than china. You were corrected about your wrong assertion that Nigeria has more forex reserves than USA and you are still peddling more ignorant lies and falsehoods. Fyi, UK's foreign investment last year was skewed by London-listed brewer SABMiller takeover by its rival Anheuser-Busch InBev which made up a huge chunk of the investment. STOP MAN, YOU'RE EMBARRASSING. |
Now we are talking. Congrats and all the best to him. |
Xisnin:Do I need to prove anything to a loser and airhead like yourself online? Go through my post and you might know more about who you are talking to. An artist and activist with the right cause does have it's place but anyone who studies science, excel at it and makes a positive contribution to a society is a demi God. I would leave it at that. You peasant with raar mentality never fail to amuse me sometimes. Now the question is what have you achieve in your miserable life other than being a troll with no future outlook? The fact that you could project my life through a single post shows how stupid you are. Just because you have a gold digger/prostitute as a mum does not mean all others will follow the same line. Your frustration about your miserable life isn't my business peasant. Now humour me about another projection. |
Xisnin:Bitch, what are you on about? Drink some fluid man. lol @ financial/marriage and traditional b.s. |
The more controversial she gets the more expensive paid speeches lines her schedules. I find her controversial stance about feminism to be ungeniune and financially/ egoisitically motivated. Obviously, this appeals to the western audience sheesh |
Isn't that down to the voters to decide? |
ishowdotgmail:I imagine your current net worth is at least a billion $? Otherwise, I look forward to your ground breaking fully patented innovation ![]() |
ishowdotgmail:Lol. You need to be realistic. Anyways, goodluck on your quest. |
Smh, Nigerians do love to celebrate failures. It's a never ending sad story. |
