Antoeni:I am not sure you are a Christian. I think you are just catching cruise. |
This story does not add up imo. You can replace your british passport unlimited times if you have the funds. It's not like you are getting it for free. The replacement cost is meant to be a deterrent for losing your passport |
I personally think putting rank on children's academic achievement damages children. I think Nigeria and Africans are the ones that mostly does this. |
It is virtually almost impossible to steal the 33kv equipment without first isolating the circuit breakers. The environment in that picture is too confined. This is a phase to phase electrocution. The ladder could even provide phase to earth electrocution. People needs to learn what Faraday theory is. |
Pakute:lol I laugh in disbelief. Tinubu doesn't come across as someone that wants to fight corruption let alone taking the fight to Obj. |
President Tinubu miscalculated with the subsidy gone statement, and this is one of the net effect. I am sorry, irrespective of your political stance, the subsequent actions by spending on frivolities is disgraceful. This government needs to start spending on what will benefit the economy (i.e subsidising small business) and be more fiscally responsible. |
You need to have solid academic/research institutions to make this work. This is capex intensive and will require a lot of research and innovative approach, which we lack. |
post=127337384:What's with the generic comment of anything to move your country forward? Please for once review the budget and objectively give comment without sounding like a zombie. Anyways, having reviewed it earlier my thought is that education and health care each needs to be increased to 10% of the budget. We need to borrow special separate funds for electricity development. |
Interestingly, this could take off this time as the focus is now both on generation and transmission. It'll be interesting to see how they intend to generate though. Based on 132kv transmission, it looks like it'll be an embedded generation. |
To be honest demolition seems the cheapest solution to improve the flooding problem in lagos. Other solutions like underground flood path, are much more expensive. The handling of this from PR perspective has been nothing short of disaster |
Firstly, she should have been rushed to the hospital, instead of being taken to mortuary. Some Nigerians who have been pronounced dead were not clinically dead and could have been saved with better emergency care. She was probably unconscious and presumed dead until too late. |
Nigeria is gone and the people are morally bankrupt. Most Nigerians knows the budgets are heavily padded but are happy to defend due to partisan, religious or ethnic reasons. You guys deserves no pity when hunger comes. |
Nigeria needs to invest in protective devices to protect the most important assets which is the transformers. I hope this is not a 33kv or above transformers as the replacement will be expensive. This is more likely to be overload or three phase earth fault. |
Mynd44:That makes no sense. The fact something is legal in USA makes no difference to Nigeria as both practices different constitution. I think we can all agree it should have been managed better by Tinubu and his team |
Not to sound like a downer, but any deal sttuck will only provide a temporary fix until all citizens rise up to fight the system. Any money made will still filter into the politicians hands at the expense of the poor. Really angry that the lawmakers were supposedly paid #100m and there is no uproar from the masses. It feels like the most intelligent citizens have left the country. Eran iya ni awon eyan gan. |
Shame Naira is now useless against dollars, could've been life changing. |
Kenneth4u205:What makes your religion better than Ifa? There is a moral requirement to allow everyone to express their religion and celebrate however they wish. I am nit going to beat around the bush, Muslims needs to learn to be tolerant of other religion. It's funny you mentioned skull mining, but islam related ideology is responsible for more death in Nigeria than any others. |
Obinoscopy:Show off lol. For typical houses, after 150mbps,there is a diminishing return In usefulness Here is mine.
|
I feel bad about the lopsided appointment, but I have no doubt his appointment will be a lot more competent than Buhari's appointment. He is a state man, so I hope he create a more balanced cabinet. I truly expect massive improvement in almost all sectors, simply because the bar is so low. |
So primitive and disgusting |
Nigerian court system is mad Obi should just call into next session via zoom lol as I am sure it be adjourned too. You need a strong institution to overturn such an election like this, something of which nigeria does not have. Not many western countries has the appetite to overturn a concluded election either - unless there is a clear cut case. |
LARRYOBRAIN:STEM is not exclusive to chemistry teacher is it? In addition, Teaching has never been a big enough sector for any course to bank your job prospects on, nevermind chemistry graduates. Most of chemistry graduates are employed in pharma and research industries, both of which are now in short supply in UK. Like I said, USA and China are the only country that employs chemistry graduates in large number. |
EvangDrGeo:That's another good advice @OP |
Majoring in chemistry in Nigeria (in most places in the world) is such a waste of time as it's such a niche market. I'll advise you switch into engineering as it's has a much better job prospects. Other USA and China, there are not many places with enough job market for chemist. |
If Igbos are to lead this country, I think they need to learn to dialogue with other tribes and stop burning bridges. You can't bully or coerce people to support your candidate, especially since most people are quite illogical and rather emotional. With that being said, I think Obi is the better candidate compared to the rest. |
Unlike some on this forum, I don't support ageism. However, we need to get things right in the next election. Next election should be about competence and integrity. There's so many controversy with Tinubu's past, majority of which he has seemed to deflect or ignore. With that being said, some of the attacks on Tinubu is so disrespectful and unethical. |
Princess80:do you live in the northwest states in America? Back in thr day you could get a 2 bed on that fee |
This does not always work, especially when the rule is against net income |
The law needs to be just and fair. In this case, it's just but not fair. |
The underlining question is why? Nigeria has a long way to go to fix the broken system and eradicate the hopelessness |
Righteousness2:Do what needful? I think this Jihad way of preaching is nauseating . God knows best |
. God knows best
