With oil prices at a recent high, this is the wrong time to have a slump. Incompetent leadership all through. |
Slynation:This is about credibility and if it turns out he is lying how comfortable are you with him holding the highest office? This is the problem with Nigerians, very short sighted. |
The biggest beneficiary of this is China who has now been awarded a contract to the detriment of local companies. I am sure there are many other companies that could've done job. |
What's the purpose of this building? Anyways, not my business I suppose. |
falcon01:Which money? This is a poor return on investment considering the billions spent. |
post=113998157:People will always cheat death irrespective of their exposure and severity, and that doesn't mean we shouldn't take all necessary measures to avoid the risk or minimise/manage its impact. Part of being human/wise is the ability to learn, and it's obvious there needs to be a drastic change in our approach. There are many methods of reducing these accidents without spending a fortune. It's about time we start thinking of solutions instead of moving on and then this REPEATS. |
Most of these deaths are avoidable and is a sad reflection of how bad things are in Nigeria. Firstly, in a civilised world a warning should have notified other road users of broken down vehicles. Secondly, Nigerians drive way too fast beyond the capability of their cars and often run out of talent when presented with road hazards due to their speed, poorly maintained car and roads. |
Ayanwukoma:Who is in the first picture? |
Nigeria needs to get a grip with these burning/accidental prone trucks |
damola1:Come on Seun this is inappropriate and is a massive invasion of privacy |
This is interesting. Essentially, they are challenging the validity of sharia law within Nigerian constitution something of which could set a precedent to future case. The question is if the Northen elite would allow this, as it could severely neutralise sharia law in Nigeria. |
What's the point of all these airport springing up all over the place in Nigeria? |
Of course they'll be unhappy, considering the inflation rate in Nigeria. This is more like throwing them a bone. |
Nigerian music sound is beginning to converge. I feel like I have had this song before multiple times. |
Still looks underwhelming tbh. |
tnerro1:Isn't he like well over 75% Yoruba as his dad is 50% yoruba and also married a Yoruba woman? I believe his grandad is also 50% yoruba as well and apparently went extra lengths to hide that part of his family while he was an ambassador to ivory Coast in the 60s. |
Righteousness2:I hope the OP isn't yourself, as this is quote deceptive and counter productive - which in itself will be an irony. |
This has to be a bad joke because I can't believe anyone will come on social media to display such foolishness. |
IdJack:That's not enough to sustain the whole country is it? |
She definitely needs strong support group around her as all signs points to a woman hurting inside. It's never easy when you are seemingly getting attacks from multiple fronts. |
This is beginning to get irritating lol. The constant - never ending narrative about the need to have an Igbo person as a president is understandable but at the same time seems desperate. |
I love this. We need to push for as much decentralisation as possible and make the centre less attractive. My only worry is you won't get anywhere in Nigeria without some form of threat to breakaway as the northerners are happy with with status quo. |
Look at the comments from the beasts above trivialising what might potentially (statistically speaking) be a kidnap case. Nigeria has a long way to go and most are not different from the herdsmen you all look down on. |
Seems like the town needs to have CFR installed to minimise the amount of earth potential rise caused by lightning. The amount of people standing in close proximity while working in the farm caused the step voltage to interlink and killed them. |
A death of a dozen or so people shouldn't increase the problem of a country if there is a proper structure in place. I am sorry to say, but this man scream incompetence and some of the things he says are cringe worthy. This is obviously a reflection of an average Nigerian - the never ending assault that has been going on for a while, the result of which produced a man like Buhari. |
design107:That did give me a chuckle ![]() |
This is really embarrassing to see a pastor openly abuse online. This is the reason why a lot of people are becoming more atheist and questioning the motive of these pastors. |
This is a big deal guys. GAC is one of, if not the largest car manufacturer in China and one of the largest in the world. Lagos needs to invest in more sustainable energy and efficient transport system to make this viable and much attractive to China. Lagos has the advantage of cheaper labour than China so Nigeria could actually become a car manufacturing hub for major car companies. |
I do think Nigeria's problems are much bigger than who/which tribe wins the presidential election as it's unlikely to make any difference to the average Nigerian man struggles. |
This could be just as true as it is a propaganda (Oxymoron, I know). Never underestimate Russia as they do have an excellent track record with medicine and vaccine. |
Based on the number of prominent people getting infected I think Nigeria's case is definitely in the hundreds of thousands. Anyways I am slightly suspicious of some of these politicians as some of them are willing to use this for their own personal agendas. |
Parable007:Nigerians generally have a short memory so I doubt he will be remembered outside his family members and close associates. |
