sinizia: How do you even reason, Dolly? Someone made a comment you felt is aggressive to your tribe and suddenly he or she's Igbo? So only Igbos say unfair things about the Yorubas? I am sorry if that came across wrong. Personally, I would've ignored those tribal comments, especially as they were an indirect dig at Igbos. Btw, I also challenged one Yoruba for making a tribal specific comments. lol its better I refrain from this tribal topic, as I keep offending both parties. |

I will prefer a united comment, rather than a tribal specific one. please let's just unite with each other. |

talktimi: thank you very much, may God bless you. I have come to the conclusion that its only those who have absolutely no idea where Akwa Ibom state is, who have never travelled out of their locale that have been bashing Akpabio for "non performance" which is what any governor in Nigeria would be slammed with as long as he/she is not an APC member. Their hatred and myopic sťupidity is corrosive and toxic hence they should be avoided by all means. Haa. This is just sad, people are trying to stand up for fellow citizens and you called it hatred? Every governors in Nigeria should be criticised regardless of their party. |

HIGHESTPOPORI: Badbelle Chei, you are condeming Akpabio and giving excuse to Aregbselola owing workers 6months on a stretch? They are both as bad as each other. Akpabio is also owning workers upon all the allocation. To whom more is given more is expected. You can't compare them like for like, one has a lot more fund but both are slow poke to me. I applaud Akpabio for this high tech hospital, but I want more for the Ibomites. |
Politics › Re: Akpabio Commissions Ibom Specialist Hospital Photos! by Dollyak(f): 11:55pm On May 26, 2015 |
jazzydee: Nonsense jealous hack. If you want high allocation develop your resources last checked Osun state has the highest deposit of Gold in Nigeria, Who is mining it? or are you waiting for FG for everything or getting jealous of other state/ region resources. Genuinely, I am not jealous. I prefer if people of Akwa ibom are living in luxury than when one politician is. You will see from my past comments that I am simply fighting for my fellow citizens. This includes; the unpaid workers, unemployed youth and so on. I will rather we unite and fight corrupt leaders than defend poltician. Think of it this way, I prefer if you are a millionaire than a corrupt politician. |

peedeeasobie: Have you been to Uyo before? If you have gone there, you will not say this thing. No, but are all the road tiled? Are all the worker's salaries paid? Is everywhere nice? Osun state has 4.2million people with 197 billion naira yearly budget, while Akwa ibom has 4.8mill people with a budget of 496 billion naira. Now the workers haven't been paid just like in osun while akwa ibom has one of the highest unemployment in the country(More than Osun). Tell me, how can you make sense of this with the biggest budget and one of the best per capita. If you think this is acceptable then it's fine, but I think it's time we should start fighting for our rights. If he was doing all these things with Osun's budget then I will call him the best governor in the world |

doctokwus: Ah ah.Akpabio fits Nigerians wella. Build one stadium in 8yrs and commission a not fully completed hospital by showcasing some sophisticated equipment while embezzling billions and voila, u are d best governor in d world! While Fayose is on one side scamming d people with rice and live chicken,Akpabio is on d other side scamming them with 'state of d art' buildings and in d middle there is Elechi commissioning uncompleted 'modern markets'.Ah Nigerians, it shall b well. This is too true.... It's the same in every states. God please give my fellow Nigerian brains, because they scare me sometimes. I remember someone saying she will vote for a certain governor because he tiled her home town road, despite not doing much for the states. The expectations are just too low and people don't seem to know their right. |

CSTR2: Imagine a country composed of the english and french with both groups inevitable struggle for supremacy. That is southern Nigeria. Too much entropy, and it is only a matter before it goes..... That's just heartbreaking. The rivalry has brought out ugly hatreds from both sides. One person called me a bastard and told me I am not better than a goat just because my Mum married a Yoruba. Yorubas too are just as bad if you criticise their behaviour toward Igbos. How I wish both side can sit down, be logical and constructive for the best of both parties. |

CSTR2: Partly blamed on igbos? how old are you? Btw, i am sure you unknowingly ignored the taunting by that slowpoke who calls himself superstar. Half igbo indeed. I am aware both side are partly to blame. There is surely a reason Igbos don't like Yoruba and vice versa. What I just want it peace. I chose to ignore the idiot because I felt trufact should know better. He sounds more intelligent than him so why engage him and make it worse. In addition, my comment were directed at him because of the recent agressive behaviour from some Igbo on this forum. |

jazzydee: Budget is a plan of action based on projected revenue! Its revenue that determines the wealth of the state not budget.
To break it down, budget is like a plan a woman has to have her wedding gown flowing 100m with 10 bridesmaid holding the helm of her gown every 10m but it is her income/ revenue that will actually determine how long the gown will flow.
Budgets are just projections not actual revenue. Sure, but the fact they have this bugdet shows the money is coming from somewhere? This are budget planned with their revenue in mind and not some fantasy dream often synonymous with couples before reality strikes. Imo state for instance cannot plan using Akwa ibom's gigantic budget so the wedding analogy doesn't make a lot of sense here. For their budget to be that high, it means the money is coming from somewhere. Hence they are the richest. Most of Lagos state revenues goes back to the federal government, so I reject they are richer than Akwa ibom's. Akwa ibom budget is 492 billion naira for 4.8 mill peolle. Compared this to Lagos 489 billion naira for 20 plus million people |
Politics › Re: Akpabio Commissions Ibom Specialist Hospital Photos! by Dollyak(f): 10:00pm On May 26, 2015 |
jazzydee: Lagos is the richest state in Nigeria, stop lying state funds is not just FG allocation its FG Allocation + IGR Lagos IGR is greater than The FG allocation to Akwa Ibom. It is very easy to know the richest based on their budget. They both have similar budget, so that should tell you everything you need to know. With the population of Akwa Ibom, he shouldn't even be owning workers their salaries begin with. Akwa ibom is the richest by far |

truefact: .why are yorubas afraid of being their own? Yorubas claim to be progressive and sophisticated, they claim to love each other, yet they coward enough not want to be on their own and have the most wonderful country in Africa.. Yorubas if you are all the goodies you claim to be, I bet you will be the one fighting for secession
Yoruba learn to stand on your own after all you could have been the first Africans to have independence. ..you claim to be first in every thing. ...at least you can be the first to secede and have a progressive country How can we relate it to the topic at hand? There is a growing backlash from Yorubas which can be partly blamed on Igbos recent aggression. Your message isn't helping. |

If you call this 'rubbish', you need serious help! What he is trying to say is that the governor should be doing more, espcecially with the biggest fund allocation in Nigeria. Lagos with the 4 times the population and less budget is doing just as good or even better. |
