The Yoruba tradition is that normally, no one can claim the right to the throne or crown through their maternal lineage. There are some exceptional cases though, but it rarely happens. |

Warlord3000: I know what you were trying to pen down in your initial post. You just did not put it right. Actually, his lack of male child means the throne has moved away from his own lineage for ever. A male child means, the throne might still come back to his lineage, in the 10 or more generations. It is a maybe tho. The chance is very slim as most Yoruba thrones has many ruling houses who are entitled to the throne, and these ruling houses have couple of different royal families/lineage within them. Which keeps growing by the day. 1 Like |

Yorubas do not have frozen brain like the Igbos, who make just any talking thing their leader. Y'all too dumb to realize what being a leader actually entails. . Y'all think its all about talking shyte all over the place. Shyte-talking landed Nnamdi Kanu in the DSS detention. FFK will never be a Yoruba leader... 3 Likes |

Health / Re: How St.nicholas Hospital Doctors Killed Chaz B By Chinyere Roselin Chukuma by DollyParton1(f): 1:45pm On Oct 20, 2015 |
cescky: The thing is this, everything cannot and should not be spiritualised. I do not doubt the power of prayer or faith. I have been and I am still experiencing the power of prayers. Sometimes we have to step back and analyze the situation. In this case the doctors failed woefully by the look of the things read in the original post. A doctor can be overwhelmed and it is very normal. The issue is, did they do all their possible best? No. If they did all they could, and the patient later died, then we can hook it on God. cant u make an intelligent argument and not resort to abusive words? have you heard of the greatest neurosurgon in the world? let me give you the benefit of the doubt and say you have, now neurosugery is the hardest form of surgery, why? because your dealing with 80% water(in the brain), now this man has various times said he has received guidance in the most hopless of these operations which he knew he could do nothing about....and didnt mince words but has clearly stated that in those situations its God that has guided him....I am not insulting you. Just stating as it is. But I can see you have reciprocated the supposed insult. I know so well about Ben Carson. I follow his story and activities religiously. The difference between Ben Carson and the doctors of St. Nicholas Hospital is that Ben Carson will leave no stone unturned while dealing with a difficult case. He would do all the best he can while relying on God to do the rest. At this junction if you still have your brain intact, you should remember a bible passage that says "Faith without work, is dead". It's just like a student who after receiving a prophesy that he would graduate with a first class, decided not to study or work hard in school. Such student cannot get a first class, with faith or no faith. Cos God does not condone laziness or slacking. The doctors of St. Nicholas Hospital slacked in this case. i wont really blame you especially if you cliam to be a christan, you must be a baby christian, change your church too....the church i attend dead people are prayed for not by the pastor but by the congration and the dead are brought back to life.(one major rule of life is simply faith on the word of God, finish) I am a Christian and by all standards I am not a baby Christian. I am a Christian who knows every issues should not be spiritualised. In this particular case, you have failed to analyse the suitation properly. Jesus raised the dead. Yea. And he has promised us Christians that we will do greater works than he did. Yea. But you should realize that these couple were not looking for miracles. They had faith in the Hospital and the hospital failed them. It is a different case if they took him to the Church for prayers. using your brain very well youll see that even aethists like richard branson(virgin) can attest to the power of faith, and the list is endless Don't get it twisted, when an atheist is talking about faith, he is in no way referring to God. An Atheist believes in science. 1 Like |

d33types:No I disagree. None of the steps taken were in medical order. You don't discharge a patient in that particular state home. The best they should have done is keep him in the hospital or send him to another hospital if they had no bed space. No diagnosis was made on him. So what were they hoping to treat. No lab test was done. Considering that he is post kidney transplant, the first thing should have been a blood chemistry test at least. An abdominal USG if available. A junior doctor should have a senior doctor hanging around, just incase things get hairy. That case was beyond that guy. Shït!!! They did nothing. They killed the man. 8 Likes |

cescky: Ok this is the most ridiculous shït I have read this week. Couple of doctors who are charged with the responsibility of saving lives, failed woefully in discharging their duties, and you turn around to hook it on God as having the final say. Y'all Nigerian Christians need to take moment and use your brains. Sometimes, it is just common sense, no need for any divine revelation or something 13 Likes |

4bobo:very silly thing to write. A doctor at the end of the day should be able to say I did all I could do. That is the core of the Hippocratic oath taken . In this case, the hospital did little or nothing. The wife should sue the hospital. 17 Likes |
