talitakumi: @dolpaz..firstly you have to authenticate the certificate and trancript at the ministry of education abuja, thereafter you take thesame certifcate and trascript the federal ministry of foregn affairs abuja.

From there, i'll have to take it to the embassy for final authentication

Juvante: I am pursuing admission in Austria and Germany. I can confidently tell you that both processes are different. I applied to MUL, Austria and the process was long and tedious cos I went to Ministry of Education,Abuja to legalise my educational documents, and repeated it at Foreign Affairs,Abuja. I then proceeded to the Austrian Embassy, where I paid 120k for lawyer verification which took 3 months. Then, I was called to come and pay 40 euros for each documents that I wanted to legalise . I spent over 250k just on documents in total. I also applied for Msc at UniStuttgart, Germany and I spent next to nothing because I scanned and printed all necessary documents,and mailed it. I was sent a confirmation mail that the final selection will be by April next year.

I am also pursuing austria and germany and as it stands, i doubt if i can continue with the austria because of this.

A school in austria asked me to send Authenticate documents and am wondering if notary public will do the job, or better still going to authenticate my certificate/transcripts.because i saw in a thread that legalization and authentication are two different thing. If that is the case, can authentication be done at the ministry of education here in Lagos or i'll need to go to Abuja to get it done. your candid response will be highly appreciated.

I guess u meant if u can get a letter stating that u studied in English.. That can be done at the state where you studied..
