I've witnessed my roommate in uni have a major crisis and it was traumatizing to say the least. It was during exam period and she ended up missing 3 days of exams and had carryovers. Easybuy (alongside other phone retail outlets) allows customers to buy their phones on credit then pay in installments over a period of time. What fraudsters do is to collect the phone on credit, then sell it cheaply as "neatly used" phones. Unsuspecting buyers will buy such phones and soon start getting notifications to pay up the remaining instalments. After some time, the phone is locked and they won't be able to use it unless they clear the outstanding debts. Other phone sellers (slot, 3c hub even Samsung and LG shops) are also rendering the service but easybuy started it, that's why the scam format is called easybuy scam.

I can't rejoice to this kind of news anymore. When we were still importing rice, rice was very affordable. Now that importation has been cut off and we're now majorly consuming locally processed rice, prices of rice have skyrocketed. Same thing happened to cement and same thing will happen to this wheat. The smallest loaf of bread could go from N200 to N1000. Let's just keep importing and accept our fate as a consuming country
