I know of someone that also got a sales job in same Guinness, I'm not sure of his specific job description. hlHe had to start using his money to buy drinks meet up with the target. Apart from that, a lot of those wholesalers he supplied to bought on credit and he had to use his money to cover up the deficit when making reconcilation to the company. He had to resign when he realized that he was losing more than he was gaining from the job. By then over a million naira of his money was still with the company. He couldn't recover up to half from the people he sold to on credit. That's why it's very important to make findings before accepting certain jobs.

The problem is with the major distributors not the retailers, they distributors add a high profit margin after they must have gotten it at a discounted price from BUA.

Have you considered the cost of transporting the goods from the factory to their location? BUA cement factory is in Edo state. It will take tens of thousands of naira to transport the cements from Benin to Lagos through bad roads and they also need to make their profit. BUA should have explained to us that the price slash was for distributors not final consumers

Really? I can't really remember. I must have unbanned him from the spambots not because he broke forum rules. Some people use their alternate accounts to alert mods to unban them from the spambots. Nothing wrong with that. The rule says don't use alternate account after being banned for breaking a rule.

I got this from a Whatsapp group, it contains a breakdown of the consumption of one unit. I believe it was gotten from IKEDC site though I've not checked to verify. It depends on the horsepower of the machine and how frequently you pump water a day. It takes around of one unit to pump water daily. One unit costs ₦49.50. Multiply that by 30, that's less than ₦1,500. it should be around 2,500 if it's a 2hp machine. Except you pump water at least 3 times a day, ₦5,000 is more than enough to pump water for a month
