PoliticsRe: Atiku Media Organization Accuses APC Of Planning Protest To Return Atiku To Amer by Donbrig: 6:24pm On Oct 09, 2018
Buhari group will do anything to tarnish Atiku, we have had enough of Buhari's incompetence. Americans don't care about us, and we must not care about them. I have already Atikulated my blood. They will try every childish tricks to get Atiku down, but they will never succeed. Buhari must return to Daura, Nigerians have suffered enough, so much pains and hunger in the land.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Considers Soludo, Adesina, Chike Obi, Peter Obi,Ekweremadu As Running Mate by Donbrig: 11:21am On Oct 09, 2018
Adesina is the best for Atiku. Or else, Atiku will lose a very critical support from South West. He needs Adesina to neutralise Osinbajo in SW. This is not the time to appeal to any region, but how to remove that lifeless being as president.
PoliticsRe: 'Animal Buhari, Free El-Zakzaky': Protesters Vandalise Abuja Justice Ministry by Donbrig: 10:18am On Oct 09, 2018
Buhari must go back to Daura come 2019. I have closed 3 of my shops due to his bad policies in economics. If Buhari wins next election, na to relocate my business to Cameroon or Ghana. Lets give Atiku the chance, he has written a book and established several successful businesses across the country. Buhari has never written a book or established a business since he was dethroned as military dictator. We won't survive another 4yrs of Buhari in Aso Rock.

In most investment threads, MEN always make up to 85/90%, is it that our women don't like investments or they prefer the buying and selling types?

Naira, with the low quality of our currency, exposing it to high temperature inside the car might further reduce the quality of your money.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Elis Apologizes For Groping Ariana Grande's Boobs At Aretha's Funeral by Donbrig: 11:55am On Sep 01, 2018
He has already apologized, and we all accept it, we all mess up sometimes. I wish Nigerian pastors and politicians could learn how to say sorry once they screw up things, perhaps Nigeria would have been a better place to live.

Ikmontana1:
current t-bills rate as at 29/08/18 as posted on CBN website ..

91 days. -- 11%

182 days --- 12.3%

364 days --- 13%
Zenith gave me 10.75% for 365days at the primary market, they must have succeeded in cheating me again. Though I asked the bank to use their bidding rate, because whenever I suggest my own rate, I never win the bid. Pls, did anybody purchase t-bills with zenith at primary market in the last auction?
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Donbrig: 4:45pm On Aug 16, 2018
Many were really successful in yesterday's auction.. Great. The money I intend to invest in this week's treasury bills was paid into my account today, too late. Does anybody know if there will still be another primary auction next week? Sometimes, CBN do auction treasury bills immediately after previous week due to over subscription.
CrimeRe: Thief Beaten & Tied To Pillar After Being Caught Trying To Steal Keke In Delta by Donbrig: 4:29pm On Aug 12, 2018
But they would have hand him over to police instead of this jungle justice, those beating him are not better. In Nigeria today, we are all thieves one way or another. We must not also forget there is hunger in the land, peole are suffering terribly. And the Bible says, a thief is better than a lazy (youth) servant.

PoliticsRe: ”if Not For Shame & Fear Of EFCC, Amaechi & Tinubu Would Have Dumped APC ” Reno by Donbrig: 9:47am On Aug 01, 2018
Reno Omokri is right. But we are all suffering today because your boss GEJ didn't deliver as we expected him to deliver. If GEJ had performed very well, Buhari wouldn't have even thought of contesting for the presidency in 2015. Reno should always criticize with a guilty conscience as well.

Some of you are very confusing and cannot keep to simple rules and regulations of a thread. I thought this thread is all about treasury bills, then, why all the ado about stocks and shares? Lets learn to obey simple rules, it helps a lot in life. Thats why our leaders don't bother or care when they break any code of conduct or constitutional rules, because they know the masses are not better. CHANGE MUST START FROM YOU AND ME.

Thanks for your understanding.
HealthRe: Necessity Of Birth Control, Family Planning In Nigeria by Donbrig: 4:27pm On Jul 24, 2018
Nice one. Population is already a big problem in Nigeria, the govt is aware of this, but our outdated cultural beliefs and illiteracy is a very big factor that has always hindered birth control in Nigeria. It will be very difficult to control our rapid growing population at the moment, because having sex carelessly, to reduce stress and frustration is what many Nigerians are now good at.

Christianity EtcRe: There Will Be No Christians In Nigeria In Next 25 Years – NCEF Warns by Donbrig: 9:47am On Jun 24, 2018
That could be possible, because Christians had become so greedy and money conscious. They no longer preach the true teachings of the bible, all you hear in virtually every church today is giving, sowing of seeds, orchestrated miracles, conventions after conventions to raise money. Our preachers or men of God are now richer than politicians. Greed has taken over Christianity in Nigeria.
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Donbrig: 6:07pm On Jun 23, 2018
You guys are too much. I have learnt so much. I am into real estate and treasury bills. Please, always diversify... our economy is still going to experience lots of turbulence in months/years to come. Big investors in Nigeria often like to invest in real estate, because if you have all your life savings invested in bonds or treasury bills or in a fixed deposit with a bank, your account or money could be frozen if you decide to speak truth to government of the day or if you are wrongly accused of a crime you know nothing about at your place of work.

Hard earned savings from many Nigerians had been frozen one way or another. Real estate is for patient investors, and location should always be your top priority, don't just buy lands because they are cheap. LOCATION is everything when it comes to real estate.

When building for tenants in good locations, always involve a good lawyer to ensure all intending tenants sign a memorandum of understanding that will give you lots of powers to throw their things out or face legal action if they fail to pay up their rents.

Be informed that treasury bills and bonds won't be too juicy for decades to come in Nigeria. Things will start to change as soon as Nigeria's economy is fully diversified out of oil.

You guys are a bunch of talents, I thought I have learnt enough about investing in treasury bills and real estate, but reading your different inspirational comments had proven me wrong.

God bless you all

fyneIjay:
Thank you.
I will like to seek the house opinion on something concerning investment.
We have a house somewhere, which is given out to tenants. After the first payment, they always find it hard to follow up promptly in paying subsequent rent. My brother has been suggesting for some time to sell off the house and invest the proceed in Treasury bills or do fixed deposits with it. That it will still give us more than the income we are currently getting from renting it out and the capital will still be intact.
I need opinion and advice on this. (if sold, we could be realizing 25M or more from it and 20M will be invested, at least 10M in TB)
Real estate is the MOTHER of all investments, you can control or dictate your profits, but location is everything in real estate. If you cannot buy a land in a very good location, don't think of building a commercial house on it or for rents. And it is always good to get a good lawyer to ensure your tenants sign a memorandum of understanding in case they cannot pay their rents when due. No doubt there are lots of challenges in real estate, but it is always good to diversify.

Very good judgment from our supreme court, a victory for GTB would have been a big blow to our economy, because many intending local and foreign investors would have been discouraged to borrow money from any financial institution and invest in our economy.
