My fellow Nairalanders, I have a house in Sapele Road (near winners chappel) Benin City. The aluminium roof of my house is still leaking after several repairs. Pls, if you live in Benin and an expert in fixing or covering leaking aluminum roofs, pls contact me, very urgent. THANKS. |
diamond88:It is good for our economy for inflation to go down. I think tbills is still going to be OK for a very long time, even at single digits, especially when you have huge funds to invest and compound, compared to fixed deposits and others. |
Thanks bro, I appreciate, I will send my request tomorrow. dejiotus: |
I thank you all so dearly, I have indeed learnt a lot about treasury bills from you guys. Pls, when is the next date for treasury bills auction? |
A weakened naira does not equates a weakened Nigerians. Nigerians are strong and resilient folks, times are hard, no doubt. But we will overcome all this in due time and celebrate our nation in true loyalty, honesty and love again. God bless our Nigeria. |
Abeg! Some Nigerians should stop this stupidity. What is so special about first class that ordinary hard working market woman can afford. Even if Hamid Ali is not the custom boss, first class ticket is something He can always afford if he chooses to. We should learn to focus on more relevant things, so that other countries wont be mocking our country. |
What is really the cause of all this high level of child molestation in our society today? Nigeria seems to be a hell of a country to raise kids nowadays. What a pain to all lovely parents. |
@LizGray and deltateam, why cant you guys find another platform to discuss your frivolous topics instead of derailing this thread. When will common sense be common for crying out loud. Both of you are about to be suspended from Nairaland forum for breaking some of the rules. |
I've been wondering how a language like pidgin English that is widely spoken all over Nigeria is yet to be officially taught as a subject in our learning institutions. I think it is high time we take pidgin English to a very high level and polish it a bit. Even our politicians use it often during campaigns and some other African countries also speak pidgin English. Sometimes, I wonder how the western world would have packaged and polish pidgin English if it were to be their language. |
I've always wondered in what language world leaders often communicate. After the Istanbul attack, Russian president was the first among presidents the Turkish president called on phone. And these are leaders who doesn't like either America or Britain for anything. Would Putin speak English with Erdogan even though they are secret enemies to the English super powers. |
@BoluwGoldenFarm, you do well Oooo. I have leanrt a lot on this thread. I wish to commence my goat farm in couple of months. But the biggest challenge i have now is how to fence my farm. I have about 20acres of land in Edo, I wish to use the entire land for goat rearing, but fencing it with blocks is extremely expensive. What would you suggest that I do? Fencing with barb wire is another cheaper alternative, but goats could easily climb barb wire or marsh it down and weaken the foundation of the fence with time. And considering that thieves often find goat farms attractive to steal from, barb wire fence might be an easy way in for them to steal goats. Pls, bro I need your advice on how to secure and fence large acres of goat farm. God bless. |
It is a very good development for Africa as a whole. Americans are already losing their grips, they should know that everything has an end. Petrol dollar is the only thing keeping American economy going smoothly, 70% of American dollars circulates outside America, only 30% of their dollars circulates inside USA. Nigerians must watch their backs very very well, because Americans are READY to kill and destroy whoever they see as a threat in shortchanging the power of their currency, as it amounts doom to their local economy. God bless Buhari and Nigeria. The GIANT in us must rise AGAIN. |
They don't like us, they have never liked us, and will never like us. IMF should go to hell with their Illuminati money. It is time for Africans to solve their problems the African way. |
If the numbers of goats in an acre of land depends on the housing system, what type of housing system could accommodate about 1000 goats in an acre? I presume it might be possible to house 1000 goats in one acre of land with the best housing system. |
Pls, how many goats can you rear in one acre of land? |
@boluwajokosegun, God bless and strengthen you for all the infos. We are all learning a lot. But I would advice you to write a book about all you know about goats, cows and other animals. In so doing, you can impact more people with more details. I am so much in need of a modern and well detailed books about goat rearing, I will appreciate if you can help me get one. Thank you. |
I thank and appreciate all your advice and contributions. Having relatives to run my businesses is the last option on the table. Managers could be an option, but good and honest ones are very very rare to find in our part of the world, that is why lots of businesses are often messed up in Nigeria. I decided to invest much in Nigeria because Nigeria remains one of the best place to invest in the world, most especially when it comes to tax advantages that you hardly get abroad. Virtually all Nigerian men married to whites are often shattered with the idea of getting a second wife in Nigeria. I think that is just the African side of us coming to play on us. I really hope and pray to make the right decision at the end of the day. IT IS NOT EASY WHEN THE ROAD IS YOUR DRIVER. |
Thanks for your input, I appreciate. tearoses: |
Is getting a second wife a sin? |
As a Christian, I have been wondering and trying to understand the sudden increase in the way our pastors or Men of God perform miracles in their various churches. Is it that God is more active in our modern churches than He had always been? But He has always been the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. |
Thank God for EFCC |
Russia might be very very right on this. There are lots of secrets agencies in the U.S.A working hard to depopulate the world. That is why Africa has to be extremely careful on how they handle issues with so called developed nations. In Nigeria, our youths are now having low count sperms and more women are more barren than before. The so called chemicals and fertilizers from western world we often apply in our agricultural products are all aimed at depopulating Africa and the world in general. It is a very dangerous western conspiracies. More deadly diseases will break out in Africa and other parts of the world to ensure their goals to depopulate the world. It is time for Nigerians to wake up and face the realities on ground. |
Very nice move Senator. Ben Bruce is really making common sense that doesn't seem to be common in Nigeria. I would advise Ben Bruce to decamp to APC and fly the APC presidential candidate flag in 2019. Because I don't see PDP ruling Nigeria again in our generation, even if they resurrect the likes of Awolowo, Azikiwe, or Tafa Balewa from their graves to fly their PDP Presidential flag. God bless Nigeria, we will definitely get there. Just a matter of time. |
Engine pics and little history of the car. Will you give it for 250k? If yes, I will call to meet you up and settle things over. I just need it as a gift for somebody. Thanks. |
What is your price for this car and how much would it cost to get a new compressor? |
Pls, how much are you gonna sell this car last? |
@aniseamos, thank you very much for your advice so far. We are really learning a lot. I am not based in Nigeria at the moment. There are many Nigerians abroad who wants to invest huge sum of money in businesses, so many tried in the past but didn't really work. Because they employed somebody to look after it, and business crumbled. This is a very big problem for about 90% of Nigerians abroad who wants to have a good business in Nigeria and still hold on to their jobs abroad which is the major source of their income and livelihood. How would you advice Nigerians in diaspora to run a business in Nigeria while living abroad? |
Dornix:I have already given it out to a young farmer who is into cucumber. I will definitely let you know as soon as I have access to other farm lands I might not be developing in few years. Regards |
My brother, there is no cause for alarm. Your situation is very normal, I had same problems before. You just have to improve your social life.. visit friends and chat with them, do enough exercise and eat more healthy food, especially fruits. Go and thank God after you might have engaged in all these things. God had healed you, you just have to play your part. |
Nigerians must learn to appreciate the efforts of our govt to eradicate every form of religious sects or radicalism. Religious extremism is the biggest threat facing our world today. And we must support our govt all the way, we don't know who the next victim would be. God Bless Nigeria. |
