TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 2:44pm On Nov 10, 2012
@Pauloman, @Siga thanks i appreciate your urgent responses. Please i would be studying in New Brunswick come Winter 2013, and hope to apply for PR in another province (Sask, BC or Alberta) during my studies. Is this posible and what do you advice?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 5:38am On Nov 10, 2012
pauloman: NB:THE WEB LINKS ABOVE IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS IN CANADA AS IT IS THROUGH THE IMMIGRATION PAGES OF THE DIFFERENT PROVINCES YOU ARE IN THAT YOU WILL GET THE REQUIRED INFORMATION TO KNOW WHAT PROGRAM THE GOVERNMENT OF EACH PROVINCE HAS IN PLACE FOR STUDENTS IN CANADA TO CONVERT THEIR TRVs TO PERMANENT RESIDENTS.
@Pauloman, @Siga please is it compulsory for a student to finish studies (M.Sc) first before applying for permanent residency or can a student apply during the period of studies; and what are the requirements? I heard that without PR after studies u are allowed to work for about 2/3yrs in some provinces to gain canadian work experiennce - please explain. Thanks

AugustApplicant: Thats my brother. Already in Canada and we share email so dont dull yourself
Can't bliv what i'm reading, this is definitely a multi personality disorder - still in denial. Same guy who claims he knws some top notch immigration lawyers in his so-called database mgt firm - Obamacare who seems to be a very knwleageable banker etc + the curses of ystday. @all pls how much does it cost to own an email account dt 2 adults in diff continents have to share. Kudos to NL CIA's @(Justwise & Joe980) Cipher mode activated...Cheers

lokzie: Form A (visible transfer) you need to fill out a form A @ your bank and provide the invoice/ bill the school gave you for your fees, if you are an undergrad, provide the bank with you O'levels, postgrad a copy of your undergrad - These are CBN policies. My conclusions: CBN policy doesn't hinder anyone from paying school fees even if it is USD75,000 for Harvard Mba.
Very true and that's when u're issued a telex copy of ur wire transfer even before ur school sends u receipt of payment.

earthgreeners: Dear Applicants,

We at CDHC can always figure out ur account balance in many ways even if your Bank won't disclose it...

What If we give u condition to resubmit ur Statement of account along with ur medical instructions.
Even though you said this as a joke, this is "Bulls Eye" and i tell you a lot of peeps wuld be swept away by this flood if CDHC actually does this - @all most times btw all the chaos ind house vital information like this flows & very few peeps actually decipher it. @earthgreeners keep making NL green wit ur ideas...Cheers

iluminati: Their agent told us they only confirm those dey want to issue visa. Those they dont want to issue visa they just deny them straight away even if u have enough fund in the account. I noticed most people they prefer issuing visas are those who the following are their sponsor.. Father, mother, sister, brother, wife, husband. Any other relations like uncle, aunties, cousin.. My brother e dey hard die to give them visa cos dey fill ur uncle is too far to make d money available for u, if u doubt me, check all those that have been called for medicals or trv and ask who was their sponsor.
Guy u sure scored some nice points, but on the issue of sponsors pls forget dt thing. We've seen pple dt are parent sponsored being denied 4d same reasons - 4rm ur statemt above it means ur paper work must be in sync b4 they verify ur finances else u're denied straight away (even if u hv enuf fund in acct.) @eo2002 was denied sumtym in april ds year using an uncle, he reapplied using another uncle & got trv for fall. When u say uncle is too far to make money available - u imply as if the sponsor must be glued to the student; dt wuld mean u must travel with ur parent to canada (very far frm Nigeria) - Why then does CDHC ask for proof of relationship? Well since u haven't seen it happen, i will be the first to prove dt analysis wrong Winter 2013. Just like @spencer wuld say "Destiny dey different" God wuld turn "Mountain CDHC" b4 me into a plain for me to pass...Cheers

iluminati: I was opportune to ask d confirmation agents of the embassy how much is ok for post graduate diploma or master applicant who has paid complete tuition fee and thet said 1.8 is very ok.
By ur statement, were u refering to Canadian embassy agents? This further points to a post from @newacca ystday abt time of acct verificatn; does that mean CDHC confirms bank balance after tuition payment, which usually cums wit med call? What abt those denied 4 insufficient funds witout getting a med call? That wuld mean CDHC checks once if tuition was paid b4 submitn or twice (b4 &after med call & payment) to determine funds for living expenses.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 6:52pm On Oct 17, 2012
This analysis sounds believable. My question - If the banks do not disclose customer balance due to privacy issues, how then can the CDHC deny someone trv after medicals & payment of one year tuition on the basis of not having funds for living expenses without working in canada? How would they have arrived at that conclusion?
newacca: In some cases,CDHC give medical calls before verifying and assessing the financial capability of study visa application. Since they have loads of application to attend to and when applicant has satisfied other requirements like Academic history, criminal background, correspondence from proposed school;they may give out medicals and continue with verification of other doxs and if there is any short comings in the field, such person may be denied visa on d reason dat such person has insufficient fund.

FamilyRe: Should I Greet & Call My Husband's Younger Sister 'Aunty'? by DonCipher: 3:08pm On Oct 11, 2012
gnchetts: Please house I need an advice for this.

I'll clock 29yrs old on Jan 4th and my Husband is only 2 months older than me.I didn't really bother about the age barrier because I was already deeply in love with him before I found out.

My problem now is that am being forced to call his younger ones Aunty's and brothers and greet them in the morning. This is really very difficult for me because I gave his immediate younger sister 3years and my husband is even supporting them that is their tradition in Okija,Anambra state but I've never had about such tradition in any part of Igbo land.

Please what do I do. Am really dumbfounded.I've not been talking to my husband for 3days now and am not ready to visit his family until u advise me on the right thing to do. Because am not ready to humiliate myself to that extend.

thanks
I am from the eastern part of Nigeria and i've never heard this type of rubbish before; rather it should be the other way round. But you should not keep malice with your hubby. No matter what, try and make him see reason with you; probably he needs to be reminded he now has a family and should stop sibbling politics.

goddeymydear: Just got back from the vac and all I have to do is my medical. No other condition attached.
And no, I didn't pay a kobo to my school for fees.
It shows CDHC can not be predicted...Congrats.

It's kind of confusing because i thought you submitted in August...https://www.nairaland.com/kennyggg/posts/1 The main reason i asked when you submitted...Cheers

How does ur post relate to ur last sentence. @Pharmow paid b4 submitn & got med call wit no conditions attached & is already in Canada. As long as all ur docs fit-in-place, forget all dat grammer in the study permit checklist.
Congrats on ur med call...

oreajayi: My status just changed. The irony is I checked two hours earlier and there was nothing. And on Monday they contacted me saying that my file was still waiting to be processed. This just proves you don't have to pay tuition before applying.

newmusic: Funds for school and upkeep is the available cash at hand and at bank, money that is readily available to spend.
@efosa12345, if a student is in dire need of cash for school or living expenses; that means he wuld wait to sell his family house or wait till the land or house for rent is sold abi? 'Thats no tie & no fund'
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 9:57am On Sep 28, 2012
Jesus4all: @trv holders and others, pls say sometin to this
Wht do u mean by student visa charge for int'l students? Tuition fee is diffrnt 4rm Admin fees (which shuld lie in the group of 'Other' after Room & Board in IMM 1294E). CDHC knws wht u're xpcted to pay thru the official fee schedule frm ur univ whc u must hv submited wit ur applictn...Ur receipt 4rm the sch wuld indicate ur compliance of1yr tuition payment. Landed property is nt a proof of funds but tie.
@lft, if u paid thru ur local bank, they shuld hv given u a telex copy of the funds transfer to ur sch; get them to sign it & submit to CDHC, with a letter stating why receipt isn't ready whc u wuld submit once u receive it.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 8:04pm On Sep 25, 2012
That CDHC is still in june because sum1 who applied 18th june jst got denied isnt blivable. Rmbr some june 18 applicants are already in .ca yle othrs hv done med abt 3wiks ago e.g @spencer, @jesus4all, @GudGOD. To bliv dt wuld mean CDHC has spent abt 4wks on 'June 18' alone..lol
