@anyijoe, ur 'so called' fam friend is to blame 4ur refusal. Imagine refusing to provide all u requested for & afta denial he suddenly bcums intrstd again. My advice; if u hv anoda viable optn for sponsorship u go 4it. Seems CDHC nw hands out xtra conditns alongside med call; u dnt wnt to start beggn such a sponsor whn u get der. Any1 dts nt willing 2 provide u wit mor thn u nid - dnt use evn if staty is N1b. "Staty wit land docs & no sponsor letter" sory to say dis but ur first app was empty. Give mor details abt othr docs submitd...Cheers

Thanks...ur point noted.
@all, let's get back to why we're here.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 1:28pm On Sep 20, 2012
justwise: I don't what you mean by being democratic.
Sumtyms u factor various opinion into ur decision making, dts wht i mean. This is a place of learning & nt a barracks for dishing out orders. We all mk Nrlnd thick, lets nt spoil wht we've got going. Cheers
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 12:56pm On Sep 20, 2012
@surecan, ur post on cumin bck mk sense. If u really wnt to be "straight" like justwise is advocating, tell the V.O u aint cumin back.
I dnt consent to doctored accts @justwise, ur post on acct building: 1st is a crime, yle 2nd isnt; passing funds thru an acct cnt be termed 'forgery'. As a moderator, try 2b democratic sumtimes (qualities of a good leader).
@othrs wit harsh comments, u can never have an effective deliberatn being hostile to anoda.
@lillaowow 9ice 1, inflow & outflow is all that matters provided it's genuine.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher:
Pardon me, i do not seem to agree that should be classified as a forged document. The money in question is his & actually passed through the acct in question unlike a doctored statemt that never had such transactions.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 8:39am On Sep 20, 2012
justwise: Its the same as presenting forged document, the info you have in that bank statement is made up, it still a crime and don't complain if the embassy figure that out and refused you a visa.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 3:05pm On Sep 19, 2012
Why Naija processing time no go long pass other countries, when all we do is waste the time the V.O's use in document processing by submitting fraudulent items. How come Ghana is just 4weeeks; well that's because they have given a longer time for naija to have time to scrutinize every document we submit. That's wasup Naija.

yungokus: Pls this is just a warning to people who engage in submitting fraudulent docs to the embassy... Those VO's are trained to detect any compromised docs.. No mata wat it is!..was jubilating wit my buddy yesterday when his status changed to Please contact the Visa Application Centre for
further instructions , your attention is required at...... Mehn!! I was for once surprised dat a Forged doc cud scale tru d rigors of verifications by d embassy but damn he was strucked wit a shocker dis morn... Wen he got d instructions dat he shud verify some discrepancies in his statement of acc and return bak within 30days or be banned for 2yrs meanwhyl all his docs and passport were witheld by d embassy... He pingd!! Pingd!! Pingd!! Pignd!! Me dis morn .. To tell me dis sad story!... Pls nairaland peeps! I don't know d advice I shud give him.. I told him tho to write a letter and return bak VAC stating that he his no more interested in d study permit application that he has some tins to do here in nigeria... Do u guyz think I advised him rightly or what else do u guyz think he can do?... Mehn pls guyz let's stop all dis fraudulent submission of docs...as dis stops others who are genuine from getting what they deserve on time...xpecting ur responses pls.. Ciao!

Sir P!:
i'm a bit confused, aren't u allowed to work? Or u only work during summer?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 2:35pm On Sep 18, 2012
@Sir P!, u're allowed to work on campus irrespective of the time but for all off campus jobs (summer jobs inclusive) u must 1st obtain a work permit which u cnt until after 6mths after u arrive Canada (reason CDHC is particular abt ur funds 4d 1st year). Good academic standing does not restrict but facilitates d issue of a work permit to full time students. Some pple risk it, workin witout a permit is similar to tax evasion (serious offence in d western world) b'cos ders no record of ur earnings wit d govt; u might get unlucky & be caught.

@phemmy, i feel finding a job bcums hard when u need it so badly to survive once u get to Canada because there are other job seekers like u.
Don Cipher: @all, i think getting a job isn't hard in Canada as long as u're not dependent on working to sustain urself once u get there. 6mths is enuf to wait & apply for a work permit.

Except his mum's land, i dont see hw his brother's land culd be a tie. Who ctrl's his father's land? On the issue of siblings he can state all of them but concentrate on using @least one sponsor preferably those dt are still single if possible to remove further worries abt dependents. What does he do as regards educatn/work history? Summer 2013 means he shuld apply arnd dec, so sponsor can load student acct (diff names) gradually frm now & submit both accts to CDHC (dts if student is working to shw source). Notarized copy of any doc dts nt original very necessary. On the issue of marriage certs, not too sure if its necessary to include all except if it shows ur link to sponsor (female).
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 5:33am On Sep 15, 2012
earthgreeners: @all,

Someone brought up a case to me and needs more advice of the house on sponsors documents. He is going for Masters program starting Summer 2013, he said he is from a polyg family...his father is dead and his mum cant really foot the bills...his brothers are well established, capable and willing to sponsor him,,,,,
1) can he use two(2) sponsors who are his half brother and brother?...
2) he is the last child with 11 siblings who are all well established(including half brothers n sisters), is he going to fill all in the family info form?.......
3) His deceased father owns 3 landed prop and his mum owns 1, his brothers too. Does he need to submit these land documents to proof ties? if yes, which of them is best to present?
4) all except two of his brothers and sisters are married and he asked if he should also include their marriage certificates?
5) Can he submit notarized copy of these documents in lieu of the original (land documents and marriage cert)?..

please kindly advise on the above, I need to get back to him ASAP

@all, recently we have allowed emotions take the better part of the house, which is counter productive. Evrythng here is optional & shuld be done in good faith. In this regard, time (now) is of great importance for some people & not anytime..
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by DonCipher: 8:19am On Sep 10, 2012
Gudmrn @all,
@AugustApplicant, u can be ur brother's keeper & declare hw much u were adviced to keep in acct for being self sponsored; even though that is also dependent on what your tuition fee is...Cheers

TravelRe: If You Are Refused A Canadian Visa? by DonCipher: 12:01am On Sep 05, 2012
How sure are you about this information u're giving? Are u trying to imply that they cut corners to get the info they require?
suxes2005: Its kinda funny this main issue. The thing is this, the embassy does
not call to ask for one's statement balance - Uk and Canada has a way
of going around this issue anyways.

The embassy only calls to confirm the account and they have special
machine (or maybe they send to the bank) to confirm if the statement
is printed on a REAL bank paper....

@Dotcom check Concordia University Quebec & University of New Brunswick Fredericton. The latter is better because processing fees was C$50 now C$100, no deposit was required, tuition is abt C$3516 per term * 4 terms and when i deferred, no payment was required. Concordia requested for C$200 confirmation fee after admission C$25 to defer, tuition alone for 2yrs is C$24500 & processing fee last year was C$90. I am going to Unb, u need to know that besides whatever the school asks you to pay initially, when & how much for any other payment would be determined by CDHC & not the sponsor..Cheers
