A female artist performing on stage was stopped half way by authorities at Babcock University Fresher's Fair because of the clothes she wore.

A video which is currently trending online shows the artist singing on stage while her audience gave her their attention and even sang along.

Shortly, a woman approaches her and tells the DJ to stop the music.

The woman and other school staff surrounded her and then take her offstage, consequently causing commotion.

Apparently, students did not approve of the disruption and they are heard screaming "go away" at the staff.

A student could be heard saying "It doesn't make sense,"

According to report, the school did not approve of the performer's outfit.

She wore a sleeveless top and baggy trousers for the performance.

Six armed robbers invaded a Seventh Day Adventist church in Johannesburg, South Africa while the pastor was preaching.

The incident happened on Saturday afternon, November 26 at Noord Taxi Rank where the church is located.

According to report , the suspects disguised themselves as visitors and, as the service began, they drew their weapons and ordered the pastor and the entire congregation to sit down.

As seen in a video captured by the church's camera, the pastor is forced to obey the robbers.

The robbers were said to have carted away phones, wallets, and tithe money.

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP OLumuyiwa Adejobi, has condemned the actions of some police officers who were filmed manhandling a woman inside a police station.

A rather disturbing video was shared online showing how some officers manhandled a woman on the floor in bid to force her into a cell.

One of the officers is seen stepping on her. The incident was said to have happened at Kagini Police station, Abuja.

A cab-man in a video has cautioned a female passenger for using rude tune with him while questioning the route he took.

Apparently, he cab-man who is a driver in Calabar, Cross River State capital had taken a different route that wasn't familiar with the passenger.

The passenger however told the cab-man ''don't follow there.''. The cab-man found the statement offensive as he expressed his displeasure in which the passenger spoke to him.

''Don't repeat that nonsense again. Highest I would charge you for what I have carried you and you will get down of my car. I cannot buy a car for three million and you sit down there insulting me. ''

''Since you never knew this road, you would have said please which one is this road? why are you taking it? and I will explain. Which one is ''don't follow there'' Are you my mother? You must be very stupid. You don't have respect'' the cab-man said.

The couple who apparently did not turn off the light in their room were sighted by passersby as they carried out their window-side sex.

Passersby who sighted them from their window watched and cheered them on.

The incident reportedly happened in Ghana.

One Kido, a 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his father, Mr Ikechukwu Onyegai over a farmland in Delta State.

It was gathered that incident happened on Friday, October 14 at Issele-Uku community in Aniocha North Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the deceased father had a scuffle with his son over who harvested some crops from his land without his prior notice.

This, soon degenerated to a quarrel and consequently, the suspect strike his father with a firewood.

The suspect however claimed that the father threatened to cut him with a machete which prompted him to defend himself with a firewood.

"He came to meet me on the farm where I was working, and he wanted to take the cutlass because we were not on good terms. When he raised the cutlass and threatened to cut me, I blocked him with the firewood and then used the firewood to hit him."

"As he was falling, his phone fell from him, I then collected the phone. I didn’t know he would die. It was firewood I used. When I was going to the farm, everybody saw me. I was not carrying anything." he said.

Villagers from Ukpai quarters arrested the suspect and handed him over to the police

The spokesman of State Police Command, DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the incident.

A 40-year-old man identified as Barnabas Abduneza has been arrested by the Adamawa police for allegedly killing a minor.

The suspect, a resident of Kpasham in Demsa Local Government Area of the state was arrested based on credible information.

It was gathered that the suspect on Thursda, September 29 attacked the deceased and her mother in Kadamti village.

It was gathered that the attack lead to the death of the minor leaving the mother with grievous bodily harm.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, in a statement on Saturday morning, October 8, said:

"Following the attack on a woman and her child in Kadamti village of Numan Local Government Area on the 29/9/2022 which resulted to the death of the baby and severe injury on the mother, the Command operatives attached to Numan Division, Men of operation Farauta and good Samaritans swung into action and apprehended one in connection with the offence."

"The suspect, Barnabas Abduneza 40 years, a resident of Kpasham village, Demsa Local Government Area, was arrested following credible information."

A 50-year-old man, name yet-to-be-identified was burnt to death after fire gutted a 25-room building in Lago State.

The incident happened on Sunday, October 2 at 48, jagunmolu street, Bariga area where the building is located.

The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Mrs Margaret Adeseye comfirmed the incident.

She said the agency received a distress call around 3:19am and firemen were immediately dispatched to the location. She also said they received a fire call around 12:31am, at 19, Apata Street, Shomolu.

“The Shomolu incident involved four rooms and three shops in a bungalow building consisting of eight rooms and four shops while the Bariga fire involved 10 rooms in a bungalow building consisting of 25 rooms and 18 shops.

Preliminary investigation revealed negligence as the undercurrent cause of both fires which led to electrical surge as reported shock was witnessed at Shomolu before the arrival of the firefighters” she said

The young lady brutally murdered alongside Chop Boii, his producer and his friend has been identified as Blessing Kona.

HGS Media Plus had reported that the singer, Chop Boii and three others were brutally murdered in a apartment in Gwarimpa area of Abuja.

The lady was a 400-level Microbiology student of the University of Cross River State, UNICROSS and a girlfriend to Chop Boii's producer.

The undergraduate was among three others victims including singer, Chop Boii that was hacked to death on Tuesday, September 27 by unknown assailants in an apartment in Gwarimpa area of Abuja.

Blessing was said to have accompanied her friends to an apartment housing a mini music studio for production where she unfortunately met her end.

Friends, coursemates and family members have taken to Facebook to mourn the young lady.

The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, who comfirmed the incident said the police have since launched an investigation into the incident.

3 Policemen And Six Others Burnt To Death As Vehicle Collides Bullion Van in Kebbi (Photos)

At least three policemen and six civilians has been comfirmed dead in an accident that happened in Kebbi State.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the incident happened on Tuesday, September 27 along Birnin Kebbi/Argungu road in Kebbi State.

It was gathered that a vehicle carrying petrol product from Birnin Kebbi ran into a bank bullion vehicle, four others and a motorcycle.

It was learnt that the vehicle collided with other vehicles after being chased by Nigeria Customs patrol team.

Confirming the incident in a statement on Wednesday, September 28, is spokesman of the State Police Command, SP Nafiu Abubakar.

"The accident occurred when a Carina E car, carrying jerricans of PMS, was suspected to have been pursued by a Nigeria Customs Service patrol team from Birnin Kebbi," the statement read.

"On getting to Jeda village, the Carina E car had a head-on collision with the Bullion van, as a result, bursting into flames and consumed three other cars. Consequently, a total of five vehicles and one motorcycle were burnt to ashes,"

"Six people including three police men also died in the inferno, while five other people, three policemen sustained various degree of injuries and were rushed to Federal Medical Center, Birnin Kebbi, for medical attention,"

The Commissioner of Police (CP) Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, condoled with families of the deceased. He prayed the Almighty Allah grants the lives of the departed souls eternal rest and to give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

"Magaji-Kontagora is also assuring members of the public that a thorough investigation will be carried out to unravel the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate incident,” he added.

A suspected thief was mercilessly beaten after being caught trying to snatch a phone.

The incident happened on Sunday, September 25 at BP garage in Parktown, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The owner of the phone, a twitter user, @Mfundo who shared a 3 seconds video said he was on his way to buy something when the suspect tried to snatch his phone.

But fortunately for him, he caught the suspect and beat him mercilessly.

"Someone tried to snatch my phone and jump into a car and I beat him up so nicely,"

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has dared leaders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to suspend him.

Wike said this while speaking at a media parley in Rivers State today, September 23.

He dared the party leaders to suspend him and see what he is capable of doing.

"I beg them today, they should not waste time to suspend me. They should call a National Executive Committee (NEC) – meeting – now and say ‘you are now suspended from the party’. Anything you see, you take. They know what I will do."

Governor Wike has been in a running battle with the leadership of the party, insisting that the party chairman must resign from office.

The reason for losing his clothes is yet to be known as at the time the video was obtained by HGS Media Plus.

A photo that show some group of church women relaxing and drinking beer at a joint has stirred reactions online.

The photo which first surfaced on Facebook on Sunday, September 18 revealed that the women are members of Christian women's Organisation in Benue State.

The photo has since stirred reactions from internet users who slamed the women for drinking while wearing church uniform.

Two boats capsized in Jumbam, Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State killing two persons and many others unaccountable for.

The Director-General Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed comfirmed the incident happened on Saturday, September 17.

Mohammed said the State Governor, Mai Buni, has expressed shock and sorrow over the accident.

"His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has received with deep sorrow the sad and unfortunate news of boat mishaps in Jumbam community of Tarmuwa local government area,"

"The sad news reaching the governor indicated that two boats loaded with passengers going to Babangida weekly market, capsized with only two bodies recovered."

"Governor Buni has directed for an intensive search mission with the hope to rescue the victims or their bodies."

He advised travellers on the roads, streams and rivers as well as, residents along water banks to always be cautious.
