No, I mean no harm please. I use only Uber, but I realized there are certain locations Uber doesn’t pick- so I had to download Bolt.

My first bad ride experience was on Bolt, the driver was angry over something that I couldn’t tell and ended up transferring the anger on me. Long time ago I was stuck somewhere on the mainland and my friend helped me book a Bolt ride, the driver kept cursing other motorists. Few days back my Uber app was malfunctioning, Izzôu helped me book a cab and it was yet another aggressive Bolt driver. He was also cursing other motorists, in fact, he called them FOOLS and asked if I don’t think they are foolish.

I don’t think it is a coincidence, there has to be a reason. I have never had problems with Uber drivers...
Congrats brother.
Even Though you kept us in the dack since.

LOL, Bros, 10k rent pre covid, during covid, post covid is just like throwing the car "away". Na help the young man help you, or maybe you were able to sweet talk him. You still took the car out of Lagos within that period i guess? To come back and remit 10k? Like i said earlier, nothing STOPS you LEGALLY from taking the car out of lagos, hence , the questions you asked him after he helped you released the car from the officers on the highway.
Did you divide 10k by 7 day? Dru has a choice, he could have parked the car at home and he will be fine, even if the lockdown lasted 1 year, but what about you? Be humble and allow God lift you up!
You seff.

Unfortunately the mechanic we were using at Ladipo pass away about 1 year ago or so .. He died under weird or maybe preventable illness .. Some said it was jazz etc me I don't know.. While he was sick we notice certain things he was hiding from us came out .. I was upset at him when the truth came out. And I was planning to spark for him and let him know how unhappy I was with him .... But he died shortly after that.. It was a sad situation.

This particular Civic with sludge was given to the first driver as tokunbo.. He drove the car for at least 1 year plus. All we did was oil change and basic maintenance. When we forcefully took the car from the driver is when we did any repairs .. The repair cost was roughly maybe 50k naira or so .. We had to take steering rack from another tokunbo civic that have not put on the road yet for this red.. But since than the car is very ok and low on maintenance..

The civic mechanic specialist I used in the past was just useless.. He seems to be very good ,but you have to chase him around to do his job.. It got to a point I felt I was begging him with money to do his job.. I no get time ,so from time to time I use Ayo Bishop to do small repairs here and there.. Once you get a very good civic your repair cost is down ..

But with any car it boils down to finding the rite mechanic for the Job... So for now I don't have an official mechanic, once I can do the basic maintenance on the cars , mechanic visit will be less or just basic fixes that any blind mechanic can attended.. Sometimes it sounds simple, I once had a mechanic in front of me empty a whole 5quart of oil into the engine without checking the oil level.. The car had too much oil inside, something so simple can become disastrous for your car.....
Are promoting bishop like this?

Yes oh, getting my car to start after parking it for a while really opened my eye. I lost alot of money on a issue that was suppose to cost about 15k I spent over 30k. Right now I just need to fix the remaining issues and hit the road so I can take my share from December rush
This your benz you once praised to be one of the best for the job, is gradually turning you to a road side mechanic bro.

40k/35k rental is very very obtainable now. From 2nd week of January to March I doubt any driver will be able to pay 30k rental, even 25k go hard small. After Yuletide season comes serious winter, you should brace up for it.

grin They kinda expect you to make efforts to collect your money in the most diplomatic way.

It's always a war sha if the surge trip is not a card trip.
I always ask riders how much they saw when booking the ride. But I do this after starting the trip.

Most of them see it, some don't.

I always tell those that didn't check the price before booking to open their app and confirm.

Good experience, but you need a permanent charger (cable) in your car and your phone always plugged even at 100% battery whenever your apps are online. Wish you all the best on your ehailing adventure.

After several weeks of battling fear of starting bolt driving, I finally came out to drive on the platform today.
Below are my one-day experience;
I started in the afternoon (around 1pm), finished 3 trips around 5pm. All the riders I picked are in a hurry and most of them said I'm slow ( well, its my first time, but I didn't let them know, I'm not conversant with most of the roads, but Google map saved me, it helped me in all the trips, )
My earnings on the three trip was 6800. All the trips was cash trip. 6200 was paid to me. Would have made more driving back home assuming my phone battery was not dead. The application consume battery and I was not with a USB charger.

All in all, it wasn't easy, even trying to please the riders.

I'm considering taking another break for now.
Continue bro.
This is not season for break.

But always tell them that you're new. It will help them give you less trouble.

All the best.

The Nigeria consumer can be very funny at times. Just like the Toyota brand.. Once they are used to 1 particular brand, it will be extremely hard to win them over to another brand.......

Mobil 1 brand is the most popular brand of engine oil now in the market .. To now convince them to try other brand which can be better or equally as good as Mobil will be a daunting task .. I am not ready to take that risk ..
But you're already doing it with this your penzzuzz.

What’s sweet about the offer? 50k weekly, max 40k net and be at the beck and call of one person in this ember months when I can gross over 200k in a week. So if I see a 2.2 surge ride to sangotedo from ojodu berger, I should not take it because I have someone to pick abi.

Guys this is not the time for offline o. Offlines are for when things are slow not now that everywhere is surging. Anyways, to each his own.
They have come again.

Una don confuse me finish .
So what do we mean by temporary Drivers license?
Is it not the paper license frsc gives you before your original (plastic) DL comes out or I don't understand?
Uber didn’t allow me driver for 3months cos of dt, while bolt had even forgotten that they registered me.
Lolzz.
Temporary DL should be the one they gave you after capture, that you have to laminate and use for maybe 3months before the permanent one comes out.

If one is not smart mechanics will send one back to the village, this is what I have learnt over the course of doing ride share and dealing with countless mechanics.
Some mechanic tricks drivers and car owner need to be aware and prepare for.
Thumbs up bro.

This is strange cos I get more card trips on bolt this days.. for the past 8weeks, bolt has been paying me. I'm guessing you deliberately avoid card trips by asking riders if it's a cash or card trip? I might be wrong tho.

There's an high influx of card trips on bolt this days.
donfortune48:
Sorry to ask.

Do you reject card trips sometimes?
Na wettin make me ask am this question.
