Why don't we just have an award kinda stuff where people are nominated by the active members of each of the threads you're most active in and then winners come from votes by viewers and members of each thread.

Take for instance...

Award name: most popular person in the thread
Nomination: 3 monikers are nominated
Vote from members n other NL users: the moniker with the highest vote becomes a winner.

Then results is announce on all of the threads.
In a place where one moniker wins more than once the prize then goes unto the 1st runner up.

Your post is not balance until you also state the disadvantages of card trip to both parties.

Some months ago I started a card trip without the rider being on the car after rider and I had argument on the phone... Disadvantage of card trip.

The other time I reported a driver here who collected 3500box from a rider despite the trip being card... Disadvantage of card trip

I've carried an elderly woman from Sura to Lekki on trip and she still wanted to pay me cash but I informed her it's a card trip so she doesnt have to pay twice. I know some drivers will collect that money....another disadvantage

I've heard drivers not ending trips afyer drop off simply because trip payment is card... Not all riders knows or have time complaining about trip/adjustment... Another disadvantage

I can go on and on...

There's nothing like time wasting for cash or card payment... If a rider complains of trip fare tell them to channel their complains to the ride share complain simple.

The advantages and disadvantage of both cash and card trip can mever be over emphasize.

Solution to the problem is, let everyone stick to what work best for them and stop trying too hard to force a horse to drink water.

Let me tell you what's mathematically possible, but not practically possible.

25k gross per day
Which is 650k gross (before commission) a month; if you work 6days per week/ 26days a month.

Which is 520k net a month (after commission).
Say fuel is 30k per week, 120k a month.

The money comes down to 400k a month.
Remove 35k for food/Data/airtime a month.

It comes to 365k a month.

Again,
To achieve this, you have to work from 5am to 12am, 6days a week/ 26days a month; without visiting the mechanic or spend on any other thing.

Your 400k is theoretically not possible bro, talk less of being practically achievable.

Though the job is quite fair and better than most corporate jobs here in Lagos if you put in hours to work with less problematic car.

If you Gross 400k in a month (commission inclusive)
That's 320k net (after commission)

An averagely good driver spends minimum of 25k a week on fuel. That's 100k a month. Bringing the money further down to 220k at the end of the month.

If you remove feeding, say 1k per day. That's 30k a month. Say data and airtime is 5k a month. The money comes further down to 185k.

To achieve this, you must gross a minimum of 15k per day/ 6days a week and 26days a month without visiting the mechanic or spending on any miscellaneous thing.

They keep calling figures without stating the basic statistics.

Sometimes one has to apply wisdom: most riders don't understand how this app works. She didn't even consider the traffic and distance you will cover to get to her place. She rated you low because u declined to come pick her up. If U happen to find yourself in that situation again, don't tell them you to want check the map before coming. Just tell them U re on your way, then check the map, if there is traffic, tell them Lasma or Police just stopped you because of taking one way, infact that they are taking to their station. Or you can simply tell them you had a flat tyre. That U re at the vulcaniser. Any reasonable Thinking rider hearing this would not wait for U to arrive their pick location cos is time wasting. They will order another trip. And they would not want to rate low on previous trips because your reasons of you not coming to pick them up is justifiable.

Just tell them you're already on another trip.

Strong head, I picked rider put head towards oworonshoki exit to lagos. It's now clear, that road blocked. Made u-turn to connect Pedro and link bajulaye - jibowu- eko bridge.
Na 2hours I spend untop eko bridge.
Finally in VI, will shuttle lekki -VI till nightfall.
Demons are having their play-time on the mainland.

Lol. I managed hit 11k today after expenses. Besides i didn't work beyond 4pm because of traffic, security and curfew issues. No police , No lastma on the road currently and I hear say boys loot police stations. AK-47, Bazuka and Shakubula were stolen. Anywork beyond 7pm is very dangerous now especially going to those mumu mumu places. My work schedule has been adjusted to 7am-4pm till the situation of things comes back to normal.

How much before expenses?
