Felicity001: Fuel Attendant New Cheating Trick.
I went to Mobil filling Station, Abule Egba this morning to purchase fuel 5k. The sell normal price @N162/ltr.
The young guy programmed the pump at N5k and started selling, I was with my son in the car so I didnt border stepping outta the car, nevertheless, I was watching erratically. The young guy was standing close to the pump counting the money on his hands and I could see the pump at 3800+ and I looked away, the next seconds I looked I could see this attendant guy punching something from the other side of the pump and on my own side of the pump I saw 5000 blinking with a dash (- - - -) on the place where the amount of litres is been displayed. Immidiately, the guy quickly removed the nozzle and the closed my tank and came to ask for money. All of this happened with seconds.
I was like, anh anh, watin happen? That thing show 3800+ just now how come 5000 con dey show all of a sudden.
Knowing I've caught him, he quickly put the bpame of NEPA that they change light thats why.
I then said, so if them change light na him you c9me close my tank? Already i don step out of the car, open my tank and asked him to complete my fuel. As he removed the nozzle again to complete the fuel the initial sale pop up and it was N4,054. All this while during the conversation that 5000 and the dash lines where still blinking o.
I was like wow! So this is new trick you guys do to steal from people.
Guys be watchful when dealing with these guys they're all thieves.
Happy Sunday♥ It's always been their way since. Someone always punch from the back, when you're not looking. The one selling to you will punch the prize, put the nuzzle and notify you to check the meter. Before you know it, he will come stand next to your door, in a position that will block you from seeing the meter. You'll not suspect anything cos he's not touching the machine. But someone will just punch the amount you're buying from the back and that's it. It's been pretty long I got cheated buying fuel. And I'm not sure they can ever cheat me again. The best way to avoid this is to maintain your eyes on the metre from start of sale to finish. Never look away. Sacrifice that 1 or 2mins. |

But in simple terms, don't allow your activity score to go bellow 80% and you'll be fine. |

hillso7: But why are they arresting people for making U turn? Is the bridge not meant for turning back towards airport? Please educate us and where else can one turn? Coming from international Airport and you know you will be making a U-turn back to the airport. Use the service lane immediately you come down from NACO bridge. (the bridge close to the toll gate). And maintain the service lane through Ajao estate bus stop down to 7/8 bus stop then go straight and climb the U-turn bridge. If you forgot to follow the service lane from NACO and maintained the fast lane all the way from the airport, down to U-turn bridge. Don't climb the bridge from that little exit to the service lane just before the U-turn bridge. They'll arrest you if you do so. Just go under the bridge and turn right to a hidden service lane that's just after the U-turn bridge and follow it back to 7/8 bus stop. Then enter the main service lane and come back to climb the bridge. |

kanuisagoat: The rider app has nothing to do with your driver app. You can have both on your phone.
When you open the rider app, do as if you want to book. Just before you confirm order, you'll see small small white images clustered all over the app. Those images indicate drivers around that place. Sometimes you notice that an image has disappeared. That means the driver has gotten a request
You see, when I started hustling on bolt, I didn't have a mentor and had no one to put me through. I also had no idea what hot zones to target so what I usually did then was to open my rider app, select any particular location, and watch how fast drivers are disappearing from the location. It made me quickly have a good idea of the best places to position.
Also, if I get to a particular location, first thing I do is put on my rider app, see how many drivers are at that place and what their distance is from me. I also observe the frequency with which they get requests. Helps me quickly know if I'm positioning at the right or wrong place.
So that's it with using the rider app.
You suppose pay me for all these lectures self o Please tell them not to try these with Uber app oh! |

How people deviate from the subject and argue another thing here is disheartening.
No one ever said that AC doesn't make a car consume more fuel; but this is what everyone seem to argue and defend now. Forgetting what brought about the argument.
Someone asked if increasing the speed/fan of the AC from low>mid>high>highest makes a car consume more fuel respectively. No one have given a clear explanation about this. But everyone seem to argue about what no one is actually arguing against.

Blackbishop: Car AirCon draws power from the Compressor which in turn draws power from the alternator which is power by the engine.
Now I will be brief with some simple physics here you rolling your window down while driving at a higher speed allows more air into the car which causes drag, the main point is look for a big nylon and hold the two top and start running with it you will certainly feel some draw back right and you have to hold with pressure so the air dragging it with you wont take it out of your grip right, Get a twig and blow some air into the nylon and prolly close the opening with twig and start running with it and you will never experience any drag.
Most cars today are more fuel efficient when the ac is on than when you roll down the window.
Your AC will only start dragging the engine when you change from VDC to ladipo exert own.
In conclusion your ac does nor consume more fuel in a perfect instance.
B-Automobile You're doing well. But please the main argument here is whether the load on a compressor increases when you increase the speed of the Fan. From 1 to 2, 3, 4. And whether increasing the speed of the fan also increases fuel consumption. Na here my interest dey. |

BAZ001: This girl looks hungry You might need to epp her. But on a serious note why do riders prefer to transfer than just use their card ? 99% of cash trip now , na transfer and it’s so annoying. One guy was trying to transfer money on broad street and it’s 700 naira. What rubbish, I had to give account no and zoom off. I will rather loose money to rider than pay Lastma or cbd. Any trip to Lagos Island, just ask the rider if it's cash or transfer once you've started the trip. If it's transfer, explain to the person that you'll end the ride when you're close to destination so that they can transfer before you drop them. End the trip once you've entered TBS towards broad street. Or cms towards UBA house. It can only short you #100. This has been my trick. |

InfinityEstates:

Your gist just dey make me laugh. Just forget that one, e don go be that.
Last week, I picked up a girl at Milverton Estate, she was going to pick up her mum at GIG. On our way there was a little bit of traffic and the mum was already getting impatient. Meanwhile this was supposed to be a return trip. This girl and her mum had a back and forth on the phone, the girl was shouting at her mum that she's coming and all that.
Las las she got angry and told me to make a u-turn at VGC. Apparently the mum had booked a ride to take her home. On our the mum called and told her to wait so she asked me to stop. We were around Eleganza by then. The mum came and the girl said she was going to join her mum's ride so I should end the trip. Trip ended at N1,400.
"Oga please o, I'm only with 1K. I even came out with it to buy card. I was supposed to transfer to you but bla bla bla... Please take the 1K when I get home, I'll transfer 5H to you. Please text your account number to me."
Me I was already angry as I would have to go through traffic again. I collected 1K and she left.
When I got home I texted her my account number. The next morning I called her since I didn't get anything. She didn't pick. I called her several times later she didn't pick. She later picked when I called with another number and when she finally knew who I was, she was like, "Oga, I WILL SEND YOU YOUR N400. My network has been bad since yesterday".
It was not what she said but how she said it. She said it with this condescending tone like Is it because of common N400 that you're disturbing me?
I just ended the call and that was the end of it.
#thethingswetolerate Lolzz. I don't do these anymore. Unless there's no other alternative. She must collect it from her mama and give me. Worst thing she rate me low. Ironically, I don't mind my ratings anymore on Bolt. If it goes down, it mush surely come up. It can only fluctuate. This is why I like Indriver. The low fixed fares are just the problem. On Indrive. I drive at my own pace. With comfort and no fear of complaint that I'm driving slowly. I follow my choice route, regardless of how it's longer; once it helps me beat traffic. You dare not tell me the route I should follow. Unless you intend doing something on your choice route. I allow cars into my space without fear of rider's complaint of running late. And I still maintain good ratings. Indrive actually gives me peace of mind from riders wahala. The only problem is the low fares and longer waiting time for a trip which most times push me to Bolt.

AngryIgboDon: Let me take out this wonderful opportunity again to apologise to everybody I must have said something bad to on this thread.
Top on the list is Madam Radautoworks. Followed by blackbishop and then felicity. I know I really said a whole lot of bad things to these guys when provoked. I am truly sorry and apologetic.
The truth of the matter too is that these spats made the thread lively. It brought life to it. We can't all be on the same page. If we are, it will become very boring. There must be two opposing forces for there to be a spark. APC and PDP, Night and Day, Black and Red Wire, Afonja and Flattheads etc.
Eitherways, I think some boundaries were crossed. I am not here to debate who started it first. My own is that am apologising for whichever way I must have hurt people with my terrible words. It will never happen on this thread again and in this lifetime. Heck no, some of them were even jokes. So please do find a place in your heart to forgive me both those I mentioned and those I didnt mention.
Felicity, am owing you 50,000 naira pledge on behalf of your new born baby. But the people that are meant to come and pack fish have refused to come. Still find a way and drop your account number anonymously. I will gift you some funds later anonymously. I also owe you two cartons of smoked fish and will deliver it in due time too but anonymously. It's quite nice of you to apologize bro. But you know.... the pains and damages you already caused with your words then, won't easily go away. |

Felicity001: No be u won do competition?
Before you stand to do competition with a man that has 2kids, a wife and an age mother to look after first go have a baby and try baby sitting for just 6months, buy pampers, baby food, sucks, wiper, medicine and then make sure you wake up at night to assist the mother then resume work at 8am.
If you succeed in this for just 6months then come I'll dash you 100k.
