Larride, I accept your challenge! Just unfortunate you chose a match day for this. Larride,How dare you? Who born you to compare the yellow teeth stained drug baron with a visionary and the saviour of Nigerian democracy Mr Peter Obi. A man that has been highly recognised in whatever field of endeavour he ventured into. Imagine comparing the governor of the decade to an ex convict. A drug baron, a man who couldn't step foot in America for decades! A criminal of international repute. A stain to the Nigerian name. Only a wicked soul would want a man with criminal reputation who can be blackmailed by powers that be, who would further ruin our already dented reputation to be the number one citizen. Grow a conscience man! GROW A FUCKING_ CONSCIENCE. |
Segedinho:Ruggedity himself don talk. Baba I twale! If any of them talk anyhow they collect from your hand no capping. ![]() The one and only baba sege. ![]() |
Amoto94:And I've been praying for a time no one would wish to blow peoples head off or burn People alive in the name of blasphemy or religion. I've also prayed for a time when no one would defend the murder of women in the name of "honor killings". Can that time come soon enough, shekua-lite? |
disstroyy:Take it from me, I understand exactly how you feel right now. That moment when banters become personal. But if you just decided to blow steam offline for a few hours the whole thing will subside. I keep saying it that the only currency we have here is our opinions. That's the only thing that counts here. Whatever you both have, whoever you both are, it doesn't matter here, it has no substance because you're not depending on either of yourselves for anything. All we have are OPINIONS. You log online you come here, we discuss issues and that's all. DISCUSS! So please just let this slide. No need to take anything offline. |
Amoto94:Is it not this one that has been accused of financial misappropriation of funds, corrupt practices and sexual harrassment in the workplace? Abi na my eye dey pain me? You and 419 sef eh. ![]() |
diggz:Very uncalled for, guys. You guys need to let off steam. This isn't necessary. |
Common guys, let's sheath the swords. I personally know how painfully personal some of these online beefs can be but I've since learned that it's very meaningless. My humble advice to you both is take a little time offline and then subsequently avoid each other's path. |
GloriousGbola:Of course, whataboutism as a diversionary tool in an argument. ![]() Mr man, you are being asked why the founder of a company who has subordinates under him cannot take actions to halt the decline of the company or speak against his co-founder?? You people always like to point out how Obi is inferior to tinubu politically, why then are you now comparing the 2? What does Obi have to do with the fact that tinubu has consistently defended Buhari while never taking any action against the party to reverse the decline of the country. |
Havertz10, when you say "some people have been bred to live the western way" what do you mean?? When you talk of "western culture" what do you think it entails? What exactly is western culture? And is this so called culture a bad one? |
The way you spiral into 10 different points when addressing a singular issue is just insane. For real you need help. Meanwhile we're talking Nigerian politics. We're talking about the way forward for Nigeria, which you're yet to proffer one but suddenly you have solutions to global affairs. Dey there dey play. Havertz10: |
GloriousGbola:The way you like to delude yourself into reducing tinubu's influence and worth is downright funny to see.. Tinubu is not just a fringe member of the party, he is the co-founder himself just like you are drumming into our ears. This man is responsible for roughly half of all government appointments. Not just appointees but also nominees for elected offices. His influence in the party can be attested to by his seamless nomination over a crowded and powerful field that included the incumbent vice president. You grappling with cognitive dissonance on this issue is just beautiful to see. ![]() |
As seen On the front page; May 27: Labour Party as the "third force"Thank God for Peter Obi oo. If not for this man, Nigerians would have been left to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. Thank God for this man oo.
|
GloriousGbola:Strawman argument. Inventing a new narrative to divert from the point of the argument held. Where did I ever say buhari used and dumped tinubu? ![]() Abi are you the one saying it? Do you believe that Tinubu with his numerous handpicked henchmen have no influence on this country? To which I now ask you the next crucial question. What did tinubu do as he saw the country going to abyss? As he witnessed this government plunge us into not one but 2 economic recessions? What did tinubu do as he watched the country burn in flames with different violent sectors rising up? We've seen tinubu defend buhari several times? Show me his actions taken to combat the misrule of his own founded party. |
E be like say this APC people dey use juju. They want to credit tinubu as the man responsible for APC but in the same vein distance the man from the failures of the APC they claim he's responsible for. ![]() How on earth does that logic flow? |
larride:Are you trying to say ACN was stronger than CPC?? Common man! Buhari that was winning 8 million votes on his own. Even after the merger, ACN has not delivered up to 4 million votes, I hope you know. But that's aside, the main issue is GOVERNANCE! How did these party govern when given the chance? Is it not the party that couldn't appoint it's ministers for half an entire year?? I ask again, how do we rate the performance of the APC which tinubu brought? What steps did tinubu take to rectify the misrule of the party which you are giving him credit for forming? |
Segedinho:Na you dey take them serious. ![]() I don't even listen to that bullcrap, until the elections, no one can stop my efforts to sensitize people on the importance of taking part in the Democratic process. |
GloriousGbola:That bolded statement is not the flex you think it is.. First of all, buhari did much better than tinubu in terms of setting up a viable opposition. Buhari's CPC had more elected contingents than tinubu's ACN so you can't try to paint tinubu as the only factor in setting up viable opposition and helping Nigeria's democracy. Secondly it's almost laughable that while you praise the APC for being a viable party to nigeria's democracy, you make no mention of the quality of their leadership. Is that not the most important metric to use in judging them?? Yes they helped to strengthen Nigeria's democracy by being a choice but WHAT DID THEY DO WHEN GIVEN THE POWER?? Are they not complete failures in governance? Talk about that. |
OasisX:You have moved beyond propaganda but you're still sharing rubbish graphics. You personally are running a Yoruba-centric campaign for him here with your post's littered with your native dialects that others don't understand. The exact same thing batists on frontpage are doing. Running a highly tribal charged campaign, anyone who criticizes APC is called "shinedu". You are clearly lying to yourself to say una no dey do propaganda. |
OasisX:Is this the bola Ahmed tinubu of APC or another one?? The graphics una use decieve people for 2015 never do?? Is this not the same bola Ahmed tinubu who was promising us these below? Why should I believe him now after failing for 8 years?
|
It would all fail. Nigerians have realized that giving them peanuts for 8 years of their lives is foolish. The internet has made us wiser as a people. Obidatti is the way forward. |
reccy:Does this look like someone who failed in governance?
|
EmmanuelScott1:And you have devilish enemies of this country still wishing this party rules us for another 8 years. Always remember that the main proponent of this sick man on this thread is someone not in this country. Someone who's interest lies away from the country. EVIL!
|
Oasisx, Obi placed side by side with tinubu is a saint! I don't know how many times you need to be told that.. Oasisx prove us wrong. Tell us where tinubu was born. Tell us who his father and mother is. Show us tinubu's primary and secondary school? Tell us between both candidates which has been involved in criminal prosecution by courts both domestic and international.. Give us the basic biography of your candidate. But NO you wouldn't, you would rather stan a man whose history you know absolutely nothing about! A man who was clearly a criminal, involved in the evil narcotic trade, involved in the murder of a political opponent, involved in the public theft, siphoning and embezzlement of public funds. You want us to be blind to these magnanimous deficiencies and retain this evil party and government that has ruined Nigeria almost completely.. Grow a conscience man.
|
Havertz10:Your delusion is out of this world. |
Joebayo217:I don't understand this joke |
This is why I'm not interested in these G5 group. The obi campaign have got to where it is today without the input of any current political elite. I don't see the input of a governor taking anything away from it in anyway. I seriously believe that the most consequential governor in that G5 is ortom because only his state is the swing state. Other states results are already determined. The only question is margins. Donjazet2: |
Why is this fake news in frontpage? |
Lamide113:Young man, you give off vibes of a yahoo nigga. A foolish scammer at that. You are the one that brought your phone here to advertise for sale. A prospective buyer contacted you to initiate sales, you started delaying the process and eventually cancelled on him after he sought to go through trusted and transparent means (which is necessary knowing the country we're in). Rather than apologize publicly for misleading the public and perhaps other buyers who haven't spoken up, you are coming here to talk nonsense. Moderators ban this nigga till eternity. He's an obvious scammer. |
Watch out for the paid tinubu troll farm. I've always warned nairalanders that most of the pro-apc commenters you see here are paid "digital media personal" of the campaign. APC employs a large base of supporters whose sole aim is to manipulate and influence public opinions and they are paid for it. The campaign shills out billions for social media influencing. So unlike you and I that are just casual users, these people are here with a plan. So be warned. Don't fall prey to propaganda. See the owner of the forum complaining about the tinubu campaign.
|
OasisX:You are a shameless noisemaker. I don't know how real or fake that tweet is but I shared that tweet because I have heard Obi himself say the same thing almost verbatim. Obi has said it previously, that you cannot kill people in the name of agitation. That you cannot spoil people's business in the name of agitation. He has said that he will deal mercilessly with anyone that kills people in the guise of agitation and dialogue with those ready to dialogue. He intends to use a two pronged approach to the problem. Dealing with criminal killers and dialoguing and negotiating with those who seek to dialogue. Doubt me? Watch him explicitly say these here. Hear from the horse's mouth itself.
