sapele914:Go through this person's post and observe for yourself how this moniker quoting me is a paid propagandist. An evil fool who wishes Nigeria continues it's downward spiral. |
wasiubello:Op you are absolutely correct. Even seun the owner of the platform has observed this.. Look at the revelations that has been made since but I think at this point many people already know sha that these are propaganda antics of the APC to try and manipulate public opinion. See the proof here. |
I keep asking seun why he lets these paid propagandists access to the front page.. Anyways good to know that despite the propaganda efforts of the APC on social media, obi's support is waxing stronger. Pdapc will be destroyed. |
IBB endorses Obi. ![]() Omoo This election go sweet oo. ![]() Oasis jungle never mature finish abi e still need additional touches. ![]() |
larride:No be you dey shout stake stake since? How much down payment of electricity on a roasted corn are we staking in a town hall different from........ |
Nigerians are something else. ![]()
|
liveLongNprospa:E pain them bad bad. E touch their soul. The significance of Obasanjo's endorsement is that it gives the Yoruba's who were on the fence because of family pressure or peer pressure due to "our son" politics to get the justification they need to support Obi. See this funny illustration of how it started and how it's going. ![]()
|
iamoyindamola:Kai!! Who do us this thing abeg. ![]() |
So that's it. Obi has secured the 3 main sociocultural groups of the south and tge Middle belt. Ohaneze, afeniferi, pandef and middlebelt forum. Only arewa hasn't endorsed him. With Obj and afeniferi's endorsement, you can be assured that the Yoruba votes are divided. Even if tinubu wins the SW states, they won't be in block. The margins will be lean. I'm ready to stake that Obi has more numbers than tinubu in next months elections. Larride I'm game, are you? https://www.nairaland.com/7507883/2023-edwin-clark-endorses-peter |
larride:Ohh, it was God damn brilliant. James Cameron is the cinematic king of theater. This man would have 3 of the 4 top grossing movies of all time. Money well spent. How many movies on this list did you watched this year?
|
OasisX:Of course you do Twitter. This Twitter!! ![]() Your agenda was already obvious.
|
larride:Bros I'm showing you polling. This is the only acceptable method of guaging the sentiment of a place globally. Polls are how politicians know their strengths and their weak areas. Polling companies are designed to specifically do that. We've seen them be successful in Nigeria in previous elections so why are you not accepting them this time around. These are numbers with people on ground and they're telling you that right now Obi is leading tinubu in Lagos. Whether that translates to these people standing up to go and vote is what we are yet to see. But the sentiment is that he's preferred to tinubu.
|
larride:I keep asking you to point out any single post o mine in my entire history on this platform that insults another tribe. That aside, as per the bolded. Clearly you misread the post. I stand firm in the notion that tinubu's only base of support is the Yorubas. Most especially the Yoruba Muslims. This is what polling also shows. Meanwhile Obi being the better candidate has much wider acceptance by other tribes in the south and middlebelt. The point is very clear. Seeing as tinubu's major base is the Yorubas, if the urhobos, the idoma, the igbos, the tiv, the Ibibio. If these tribes come out and vote in their numbers in Lagos, Obi wins!! Seeing as he's the more accepted candidate by virtue of being the better candidate. |
Nostradamus1:Very simple, go through this frontpage thread where Oasis picked up these pictures from, read the first 5 posts there, then come back and tender your apology ASAP. https://www.nairaland.com/7506189/2023-labour-party-candidates-lagos |
OasisX:It doesn't work that way my nigga. Bro, first of all, tinubu himself is a non-indigene of Lagos, that already speaks volumes to the nature of the accommodating state which predates him. Secondly, if you really want to push the claim that he has been more open to non indigenes in the state, then the onus is on you to present his cabinet list and that of his democratic predecessors and successors. Not just pushing empty propaganda. And yes, no governor has hated the Igbo dwellers of Lagos as much as tinubu. We've heard it from his own wife on multiple instances. The Igbo traders of Lagos are collecting it hot hot from his own daughter. We can see the extremely hateful narratives being peddled by his followers here and on Twitter. Blaming endsars protesters on igbos with a plan, calling igbos children of hate and all that. I could go on and on and bring some posts of core tinubu supporters towards Igbo people here for you to use your eyes and seehow this man is running a highly divisive campaign. |
A very interesting Twitter poll. What Obi would do in SW will shock people.
|
Obi also leads in Abuja. Again, these are professional polls. They also successfully guaged the moods and voting pattern in previous elections.
|
Larride this is another professional poll released today. Can you see what I'm telling you about lagos and the SW. According to the poll sample analysis. The SW educated demography and the christians are leaning towards Obi more than in any other region. By religion, the Yoruba Muslims lean very heavily towards tinubu but Lagos is a state where christians outnumber moslems. The polling held in Lagos shows Obi leading in Lagos state.
|
Meanwhile I keep saying it, leadership is our problem. Nigeria can and will get better. We just need effective leadership.
|
larride:How?? Have any of my post in anyway been derogatory towards any other tribe?? The post you quoted is me pointing out voting demographics. Nothing to do with being negative or hateful. |
OasisX:Not so sly mothafucka. ![]() No I'm not against the prayer but the motivation behind the post. You posted a picture of only Igbo contestants (out of many others) in Lagos in order to drive a narrative. Infact that very post is on frontpage right now and as expected has become a breeding ground for igbophobia. The narrative you want to push is that "tinubu has made Lagos habitable for IGBOS". If not you would have posted the other non Yorubas also running for various sits. And as for your motivation, I had to point out that it's not a new thing. Lagos has had Igbo military governors. Lagos has had Igbo representatives as far as the first republic in the 60s. Kano has also had Igbo representatives. Portharcourt has had a Yoruba representative. It is not unique to tinubu. I'm tackling that agenda before it arrives. |
iamoyindamola:They very well could. Igbos have a population of about 6 million out lagos' 18 million general population. Many igbos are centered around ojo local government and the market dominant areas. You go to alaba and you get a feel like you've stepped into aba main market. The population is there to actually vote in some of these candidates. But such can't happen in places like etiosa. It's just simple demography. |
OasisX:Ohh I see you woke up on the tribal side of the bed today. Sending out tribal dog whistles, as per usual of the tinubu campaign. Yes yes, hopefully one day we get to see states like ekiti and Oyo be like this. How you don't seem to understand what a cosmopolitan melting pot is is very funny. Lagos is the largest city in Africa. Meaning that it has a large population of various different tribes. The same can be seen in any major city of the world. You go to newyork, you see large Russian communities, large Irish communities, large Italian communities, large indian communities, large china towns in the very heart of newyork. In London, you have large Nigerian communities, large indian communities, large eastern European communities like polish, Russian, Belarusian etc. And all these communities have representation at the center of power. Lagos is the major metropolitan state in Nigeria. With twice as many a population as any other state and has huge swathe of block population of other tribes. A population that can band together and form a political unit foe their objectives but of course leave it to the BATstards to continue sending out tribal dog whistles as if it's a weird thing. |
They want to tell you that Obasanjo's endorsement doesn't matter but every election, they rush to him to seek his endorsement. No be juju be that? ![]()
|
ShitStain:Nice one! Which region are you voting in and I guess Obi is your preferred candidate right? |
