Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, husband means master. The reason for most problems in Christian marriages is the fact that women refute God’s definition of marriage and form theirs. They believe they are equal partners. If most women had their fathers bold enough to talk to them, they will be very successful in their marriage and they will be very happy people. Most women have never been taught by their parents, their fathers particularly and that’s their biggest problem because they don’t know who a man is, they think he is another woman.

In marriage, you have the man who is the head of that union and because he’s the head of that union, its important to understand him. You think he’s the one that needs to understand his wife and that is where you are wrong. He will eventually but you have to know the type of man you are married to and his needs.When you say you are marrying a man, you are coming under his authority. The Bible says, the man is the head of the woman (1 Corinthians 11:3) so when you marry him you come under his authority, you are not authority sharers even though you are both heirs to the kingdom of God.When you decide not to subject yourself to that authority, you are a rebel and God is not going to accept what you are doing because you are not functioning correctly.

Why did God make the woman?Making woman was not God’s original plan because after God created Adam and before He made Eve, He said in Genesis 1:31 “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good”. God made woman because of man so woman was not His original idea. This is reality.Genesis 2:18a “And the Lord God said “for it is not good for a man to be alone..” The Bible didn’t say “lonely” but “alone”. There is a big difference. Man wasn’t lonely but alone. Genesis 2:18b “…I will make him an help meet”. He didn’t say a partner or a supervisor or a special advisor or someone to tell him what to do.I will make him someone to help him. God gave man a responsibility so woman was made to help man achieve that responsibility. If this is understood in every home then you won’t have problems.I tell people that you don’t need a marriage seminar, you need the Word Seminar.

Let me tell you, no husband wants another mother, he has had one all his life. He doesn’t want an older sister, he probably had one.Your secret is in obedience, your secret is in listening to your husband, your secret is in doing the things that please him. When you don’t do the things that please him, you take the role of a mother or of an older sister. A man loves the one he serves (God) and the one that serves him (a good wife). He fights the one that wants to be at the same level with him (a rebellious wife).

To be happy in your family and home is the easiest thing in the world, just take your role. Take your place. That place that God gave you is a beautiful place. Its a place of peace. Its a place of love. It’s a place of excellence.Every wise person listens to wise voices (advice) but he listens to a wise voice that is presented wisely. Everyone rebels against the voice that is trying to make a fool out of him. When you want to correct your husband, don’t lord it over him,present it as a wise suggestion. Humble yourself and be smart. A wise woman will always be an influence to her husband, the foolish one will always annoy the husband, make him mad, make him angry and when you make him angry, you will be the victim.

Learn to listen to your husband, practice it, tell yourself that you are going to do it because that is where your beauty is.Once you stop listening, your beauty evaporates. You wonder why you are dressing and he can’t see it, he doesn’t remember your last hair style. Beauty is in obedience. That’s where the Glory is

And the same church you and your likes are quick to bash, convened the councils saddled with the tasks of selecting/determining from so many books in existence in the early church, which were inspired, which to be part of the books called the Bible. In canonising the Bible, dear, history so much heavily lean to the Catholic side. The councils at Hippo 393 and Carthage 397 under the chairmanship of the greatest African theologian, St. Augustine. And then after successfully piecing thses books together they needed authority to ratify it for the church use...whose authority...a Pope? Yes it was Pope Damasus 1 (Pope from 366-84), he encouraged the canonicity of Bible and approved the first ever Bible, the Latin Vulgate. Mind you the now approved Bible has no chapter nor verses well into the time of Stephen Langton; the Holy Cardinal Archbishop of Canterbury towards the later part of the 13th century. It was he who divided these 72 books into chapters. Google Stephen Langton to educate yourself more. Bear in mind that Christ never wrote anything nor asked his disciples to write anything on his behalf..the only time an apostle was instructed to write down visions, was in book of the apocalypse or Revelation. And when the books of the Bible was been collated, Revelation was set aside initially because of its doubtful authorship and so much imageries and supposed interpolations. However the Pope asked St. Jerome to include and translate Revelation from Greek into Latin. Christ only founded a church upon Peter, the rock. Matt. 16:13-20 and saddled the church to convert/teach all nations. Matt 28:18-20 . It was out of necessity the disciple or apostles decided to write about the life of Christ to address certain questions. That why the first attempt by the Apostles to address the Faith in response to believers' question produced 1 Thessalonia writing about 51 AD before any of the gospel. And in 2.Thes., St. Paul told the believers that the Faith was handed to them in two ways and must be guarded firmly: By words of mouth( Tradition) and letters( writings which later firm the new Testament) 2.Thes. 2:15; 3:6. Again the same apostle told us that the Bible isn't where authority of Christian lies rather in the church. 1.Tim3:15. He said the Church and not the Bible is the pillar and foundation of the Truth. Need I say more? That this same truth the Catholic Church wield from the time of Christ's ascension in determining the different aspects of church life? Did Christ tell us how to congregate on worship, did he say choir should be formed? Did he approve Sunday as day specifically devoted to worship? Did he approve of a Bible? If you so vocal you can't discuss anything outside the Bible, then begin to lecture me what constitute the early Christian way of life, mode of worship 300 years before the Bible was canonised...are you telling me that all the splinter groups in protestantism/pentecostalism were directed to do so from the Bible? Going against the prayer of Christ for unity in Jn. 17? And these various groups teach not only unorthodox messages but very contradictory...yet they all supposedly base their authority from the Bible. For these ptotesters/splinter group, St. John has a very strong worded message. 1.Jn. 2:18-20. Give me a break for 2 millennia tge church has taught the Faith, even in darkest period of human society the Catholic church was the shining light. Go and read the contribution of the Catholic Church to Western civilization. If the Catholic Church is not the church founded by Christ as you pentecostals are wont to argue, then where is that church today? Redeem? Mfm? Winners? CAC? Because that church must be visible and must trace it history to the Apostles and beside it must be able to teach with authority-making bold claims that only Christ her bridegroom can make. It must be able to bind and loose ( not necessary demons but doctrinal definition) and must tell by the authority of the Holy Spirit that somebody like Mother Theresa having led a heroic/saintly Christian life is in heaven and Heaven will concur. There Catholic Church is a sui generis. She has taught humanity, bled from within and without in taking the gospel to where angels dread to go for two millennia. The problem with pentecostals is they don't have a well grounded theology and authority. It is a group which anyone can wake up, read a portion of the Bible and start a congregation. Mind you hundreds of your kinds can't stand me...it is my field. I must open your eyes to the truth and how gullible you have been.

Good intentions but there's realy no need for publicity. Just cell leaders in Nigeria alone regularly fill up the proposed venue; talkless of members.
It is the reason you have not seen any official church advert for the program. Even in the said live communion service, the program was announced after outside viewers on the networks had been disconnected.

Dr. Chris oyakhilome has since 2006 stoped organizing open air crusades in Nigeria. A major reason being the lack of space that can accomodate. The last one along lagos-ibadan expressway in 2006 brought lagos to a standstill. Now many CE church pastors across Nigeria pack out the various sports stadia in their cities.

Even if we wanted publicity, we will not need nairaland. We can overrun any city at the shortest notice if we want. I'm not bragging its just plain fact.

I am more catholic than you are. "Catholic" means "Universal". Even though I am not a ROMAN catholic, i have more experience in the catholic way than you as I was born into a veeeery catholic family, had my babptism as a baby, my First Holy communion, but found Jesus before i was through with my Confirmation.

My mum ensured we were all brought up the catholic way. She said the rosary together with us her kids every evening. Her father ( my grandpa) was the man who carried the box of the first white missionary sent to my hometown. His first daughter (my aunt) is a reverend sister. His younger sis (my grand) aunt is a rev sister; in fact the oldest nun ( mother supreme) in my state. His 2 sons went so seniour seminaries but didint become priests tho. When grandpa who was a night of st molumba died, the pope John Paul 11 sent a tribute that was read at the funeral. We have pics of brandma and grandpa kissing the pope's hand. My mum was president of CWO before she traveld to the Uk over 2 decades ago.
She is so high up the catholic ranks that she serves communion alonside the priest during mass.

I took time to tell you all that so that you can understand where i am coming from and that there is nothing you will pull up that i havent heard.

I recall my mum always refering to "the church" as an authority not subject to the bible, but vise versa. Is it not a well known fact that every true catholic adhers to the teachings of "the church" and use the bible as reference only where it seems to agree with church tradition?

That is a very dangerous stance... One which is a reflection of the dark ages from where the church of Jesus Christ has come. It is important that they subdue the truth, keeping people from knowing what the word realy says so they can maintain control their own way.

The bible contains history as well as prophetic revelations of truth.

I remember several years ago, I was transfered on my job to a new city in South South Nigeria.

On my first night, I went to bed leaving my bathroom slippers outside in front of the front door. I woke up in the morning and didn't find my slippers where Ieft them. I had just begun on the job and could only afford this one room and parlour in an estate with two lines of flats facing each other with large parking space in between.

I thought I had somehow misplaced them and so a few days later, I bought a new pair of slippers, left them outside as I was accustomed to and again, I did not find them the next morning. I still didn't get it and so I forgot a pair of palm slippers outside another day only to wake up in the morning and find some white powder sprinkled on them. I smiled (at this point I began to suspect something funny was happening), slipped my feet in, got into my car and drove off. I did not pray or bind anything. Why? That will be waste of time and spiritual ammunition. I knew nothing fetish could work against me having been a student of the word of God at Christ Embassy for several years.

I was even embarrassed and ashamed that such a witch could have the effrontery to come that close. Actually, I know why... I was new in town then and wanted to "relax small jor" before I go introduce myself to the pastor at the Christ Embassy church in my new city even after several calls and reminders from the Pastor of the CE church in my former city.

At a point I even found a cat in my bonnet one morning. A new friend i made said "Ol boy, STRONG dey this una estate o" shocked

I closed the bonnet and drove the car along the estate road and settled inside one of the ditches filled with water for a while. That was the end of that one grin

I am not naive and i am aware of such witchcraft activity but I am a new creation. I have divinity at work in me. I have put on Christ. I have the Holy Ghost and I speak in tongues. No witch in his right senses will play around a Christian who knows who he is.

I did not want to kill that witch otherwise I would simply step on the powder and utter a few words and then we will hear the story.

Romans 1 vs 23 talks about homosexuals being given up to vile affections(I.e made homosexuals in the first place) because of idolatory.
That is they were involved in Idolatory first and so God now made them homosexuals by giving them up to such affections because of their idolatory.
My dear, I was raised catholic, but now a pentecostal so could it be that God gave me up to homosexuality at age 7 because I was always 'worshipping' catholic images from ages 0 yrs- 6 yrs?
Was my infancy and childhood idolatory the cause of my homosexuality?
If it is so then what of my LGBT family born into pentecostalism who have never prayed before images before.
Why do we have pentecostal homosexuals and bisexuals who have never been idolatrous before.

Beyond the worship of images, man- worship and self- worship are even greater forms of idolatry.

I understand the pont you made in your post. It is important however to note that no true Christian will hate gays. We are not against gays, because God loves them and we believe in His power to save heal and transform all who look unto Him.

But the problem stems from the attempt by the gay community to fight the church, demanding rights, claiming that it is perfectly normal to be gay because they were born that way; to the point of blaspheming churches who do not agree with these views. Why should there even be a "gay Christian" in the first place, is there anything too hard for God? Or is there any sin too great for his mercy and love? ...To the point of forming communities? And the effrontery to demand for marriage rights?

Its like the cancer or HIV societies. They fight churches who believe and proclaim the power of God to heal these diseases. They'd rather form societies and vote huge amounts of money towards their course.

The spirit of God is letting the operate until Christ returns. The Holy Spirit of God is allowing the antichrist to function undisturbed until Christ is ready to take over, he is letting until he is taken out of the way, and then the wicked will be revealed whom Christ will now consume and destroy with the brightness of his coming.

The antichrist are the beastly world dominions that Christ is coming to overthrow.

Putting that passage of scripture in modern English:

2 Thessalonians 2:7 The mystery of this sin is already at work. But it cannot work effectively until the person now holding it back gets out of the way.

The verb "let " as used in the kjv actually means to "hold back", referring to that force or power holding back the Antichrist from manifesting and operating in full force. That can be none other than the Church of Jesus Christ. Not the Holy Spirit because He will still be around on earth after the rapture- during the tribulation. That's why even after the rapture, preaching though restricted and severely punished, will continue and many will still believe and receive salvation. No one can believe except by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The church is the resisting force against the Antichrist and he cannot unleash his terror until the catching away of the saints.

The rapture will take place just before or immediately after he is revealed as Israel's peace guarantor in the signing of the peace treaty between Israel and Palestine.
A 7-year peace agreement which he will break in the middle of the 7 years and then begin his reign of terror.
