Were you guys not happy when Saraki threw away the list of Senate Principals given to him by APC and put his own people there? Who supported the leadership of Ali Ndume if not those PDP Senators and supporters who wanted to get back at Tinubu for being part of the people who ousted Jonathan? Why then are you complaining?

When Saraki defied APC order to become the Senate President, APC just chilled. Later they submitted Lawal's name for Senate Leader, Saraki still made his loyalist, Ali Ndume the Senate Leader. Didn't you guys celebrate him then simply because you thought Tinubu had lost? Why then are you blaming APC? Stop being partisan all the time. It makes you look foolish!

I'm just disappointed that he's a graduate of my school. Wouldn't blame him much though. Most Engine guys don't attend classes in Ekpoma because they feel with their money, they would graduate successfully. Somebody once told me that a Lecturer tapped him at the back and told him that most of his mates are at home sending him recharge cards, while he's in class receiving lectures. Do you expect such persons to still come to class? I'm disappointed!

This postponement will not help any party as most people must have made up their minds on who to vote for. Postponing an election that has been long schedule is irresponsible and doesn't portray INEC, the security agencies and the country in good light. Jonathan started this silly practice and unfortunately, APC is going through the same silly and condemnable route. This is not acceptable.

If this Election has truly been postponed, then I'm disappointed. I'm in Edo State and there's nothing like security threat or whatsoever. I don't know where the Police and DSS got their report from.

You're right with Obasekis poster in those places you mentioned, but do you needed to be reminded this is so because he enjoys the favor of APC and by extension oshiomole, who ensures other political parties are not given same privilege to campaign? If you take a tour along the major roads in benin, from sapele rd to airport rd, to sakponba rd, to siluko, to ekewan and King square, the only poster you're going see on those street lights are the one belonging to Obaseki, so you're very right on this but doesn't make Obaseki popular, I met with some guys who happened to be members of a group support GO Street2street few months ago, we spend almost the whole night talking and explained to them chances of APC winning the election in Edo is only by rigging, they can't win POI in a free and fair election.

POI is a grassroot politician more than GO, he knows the terrain, the present state of the economy will also affect GO's chances, APC population is reducing by the day in south south and the president is not helping matters, the odds are not in favor of APC presently except a repeat of April 2007 where the mandate was taken from oshiomole and handed over to osunbor, even though osunbor was announced as the winner but it was too clear oshiomole won the election but with federal might oshiomole was denied, if that doesn't happen, APC using all apparatus the police, inec to their favor Edo state will be going to pdp.

Let's wait and see how Saturday election would look like though. I hope you're gonna exercise your franchise?! Pls don't forget to post the result of your PU though.

To me, this Election would be lost and won in Edo South (Benin). It's already glaring that Obaseki would win the 6 LGs in Edo North while Ize-Iyamu would win the 5 LGs in Edo Central (Esan). I don't know much about Benin. But whoever wins in Benin (Edo South) wins the Election.

You're so funny! The voting strength of Edo North is far higher than that of Edo Central. All APC needs is just 55% f the votes in Edo South (Benin) which they can easily get.

After the 2015 Presidential polls where PDP got over 55% of the votes and 65% of the National Assembly seats, they started bragging about it. But when we the sympathy was no longer there for Jonathan during the House of Assembly polls, we secured almost 95% of the seats. Ie, 22 seats as against PDP's 2 seats. Maybe you guys think anything has changed!

What people don't know is Ize Iyamu still have more than 50% loyalist in APC and he is a great grassroot politician. If you doubt me ask Oshiomole.

I was surprised that when I got to Benin for the Grand Finale of th campaign, I didn't see any campaign poster of Ize-Iyamu from Aduwawa to Dawson Street, to New Benin, to Forestry road right to Ring road and down to the stadium. I don't see how he's popular in Edo State. Apart from Ize-Iyamu winning the 5 LGs in Edo Central (Esan) and maybe 3 (highest) in Benin, I don't see him winning more than 8 LGs in Edo State.

Obaseki on the other hand has the 6 LGs in Edo North to his credit and other 4 in Edo south (Benin). Please temme how he's gonna lose that election. Where do you put your hope? Pls be bold enough to post the result of your PU on this forum with a picture-proof, lemme also post mine. I hate riff-raffs who brag online.

Ize-Iyamu can't boast of any development in Edo State when he was the CoS and SSG, yet he wants to develop Edo after 9yrs. Is that possible? If the Governor fails, shouldn't we blame the SSG as well?
