I am 25M. Never had a relationship before and still a virgin.

I am too far gone at this point. I haven't learned how to date because I was shy and way too focused on my studies while in school, of which i graduated with 2:1.

I never learned how to talk to women with the purpose of dating them so I still like a teenager. I don't think many women would give a chance to an awkward, inexperienced and not that attractive man in his mid 20's.

Never had a real job before, because i schooled from home throughout my 5 years in the university (I attended a federal university).

The past year I've made changes to myself, and started going to gym to get in better shape.

But I think all this is too little too late. I missed so many learning experiences in dating and women at this point, and many women may expect a well developed man, not some confused teenager in his mid 20's.

I am currently on my 1 year mandatory service and just have 3 months left to round up, and yet i'm still single!.

I'm not even ugly, just average in looks, it's just that i get this pressure and anxiety in my chest whenever i try to approach a woman.

funny enough, i am currently the General secretary of my CDS, and so i am a bit well known in the CDS. However, do i have a single phone number of a female? No!

The problem in our marriages is that all the rules and regulations regarding marriage are made strictly for the woman.

The society put too much pressure on the woman, not minding that for every union to succeed, the both parties must be intentional about it.


Dear women, once you're married to that man, who abuses you, beat you up, desrespect you, stress you, cheat on you, doesn't take up his responsibility as your husband and father to your children. I'm just like you too. I don't do all those nonesense relationship which I know is a thing of benefit for a typical Nigerian girl. Wherever I find myself, and I show face, they flock around (and I know it's cos of money) with this, I easily have any of them I desire. That's the problem when one isn't balanced sha. The outside world can be very corrupt and isn't the secluded academic world they experienced. I recalled a tweet where a CU alumna was lamenting how Lagos and the corporate world can test one's faith. I'm sure she has witnessed things she never thought were real while she was a student. That's the reality many academically brilliant students from church managed schools who attended private universities will experience. Those who attended public universities have been exposed to such a life, and are mentally prepared for such a world.
