Ebonyi and Cross River States have agreed to end hostilities, killings and wanton destruction of properties arising from various border disputes between the two states. The two states also agreed to embark on construction of bridges and roads to further cement the bond of brotherhood. The decision to end the killings was an outcome of a meeting that was convened and co-chaired by Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State and his Cross River state counterpart, Prof Ben Ayade. The governors also resolved to end hostilities in their boundary areas. Others that were in attendance included the deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Kelechi Igwe and traditional rulers and stakeholders from both states. The resolution was part of a ten-point communiqué reached by the officials of Cross River and Ebonyi, made available to journalists shortly after their bilateral meeting held in Port Harcourt, River State.

To achieve this, both Governors directed the representatives of the disputed communities in attendance to return to their various communities and sensitize them on the way forward with a view to proffering solutions to the challenges at the disputed sectors. They also resolved that both states should submit a position paper on their boundary claims, annexing relevant legal documents, maps and communiqués of previous meetings within 30 days. As part of the communiqué, both states would carry out disarmament of the combatants and thereafter grant amnesty to those who shall willingly handover the dangerous weapons in their possessions within a period of 90 days from 7th of August 2018. According to the communiqué; “Ebonyi state government is to construct 600 metres bridge across Oferekpe River in Ikwo axis and 500 metres bridge at Ndibe Beach in Afikpo, Afikpo north LGA. Cross River state undertook to compliment Ebonyi state by constructing 7.2km road to link up with the Federal high way coming in from Ogada in Cross River State to Oferekpe in Ebonyi state as well as 19km road linking Ndibe beach to Ugep or a 17km road linking Ndibe beach to Adim”.

In what appears to be a twist to the siege on the National Assembly by security operatives on Tuesday, the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has sacked the Director-General of the Department of State Service, Lawal Daura.

The DSS and the Police had locked down the National Assembly on Tuesday, even as the Senate leadership had scheduled a meeting to hold in the chambers in the afternoon.

Lawmakers who came with the hope of attending the meeting were denied entry into the Assembly by the security operatives.

Lawmakers elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress had dissociated themselves from the security operatives’ actions, even as the opposition Peoples Democratic Party had accused the Executive and APC lawmakers of an attempt to truncate democracy.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, disclosed Daura’s sacking on his Twitter handle, @akandeoj.

He wrote, “AgP Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura.”

I sent her to Dr Amara Uzoegwu, who is the head of AG Worship Center Onitsha Medical team. I paid nine thousand naira for her medical examinations. The results came out and she was diagnosed of Amenoblastoma of the mandible.
Simply put, she has a tumor which has eaten up almost her right jaw and was responsible for that massive growth. She needed an urgent surgery to arrest the tumor from further expanding to the head region and cause death.
The initial bill for the surgery was almost seven hundred thousand naira. Every effort to reach her parents proved abortive. Sent my pastors to meet with her father, he practically dodged us, for obvious reason- no money. Her mother said she should come to the village. Probably to come back and die. The whole drama annoyed me.
Was I going to allow my member to die, because of her parents inability or irresponsibility?. Because even if you don’t have money, you should show concern and love. Mtcheeew! that is story for another day.
It was a burden for me.
Within my few years in ministry, I noticed pastors do a lot of good for members, but they love paying back with evil. In fact the ones you help more, attack you more. But are we going to stop doing good, because of other ungrateful ones? No!!!.
Because of the urgency, I prayed about it and last week Sunday, I talked to AG Worship Center members about the need to save miss Oluchi’s life. I took the lead and others supported willingly. I saw an amazing show of love from the members.
Saving her life was on everyone’s mind. We finally was able to get her father to come and give consent for the surgery(that was all he could do).
Yesterday, with the consent of her father, she went into the theatre. The surgery lasted for four hours and was successful. The surgery was exclusively and fully paid for by members of AG Worship Center Onitsha.
What else can make a pastor more proud?
I can’t wait to start our own hospital.

N19, 800: A Salary, An Allowance or A Peanut.
I picked up my writing materials from a bitter heart based on the suffering of the Nigerian Corp Members serving their fatherland with a monthly pay of N19, 800.
Let me start from the camping exercise where it all started. An average Prospective Corp Member spent nothing less than N30, 000 to prepare for the camping exercise. Like that was not enough, we meet the extortion of our lives in the camp. We found out that the sockets in the lodges were disconnected from power supply and it was prohibited to charge our phones using any of the available sockets so that we can pay at the camp market. We went to the camp kitchen for food, and found a meal that cannot satisfy a year old baby. We went to the camp market, food and other items were so costly that we began to wonder whether we are still in Nigeria or one sort of desert in Afghanistan. An average expenditure in the camp is about N40, 000 not forgetting the N3, 000 plus we paid during registration. We were given N2, 500 in the camp as if it was enough to cover our transport expenses.
Now the real game began as soon as we were given our posting letters. We paid for the vehicles provided by the LGA’s to convey us to the LGA Secretariat. Thanks to the religious organizations that saved us from another lodging expenses. On getting to our Place of Primary Assignments (PPA’s), for those who were not rejected, we were welcomed with a very interested slogan, “NO PAY, NO ACCOMMODATION and we were fused to pay #500 each to our local government inspector before we are given file to document our information''. Not considering that the state does not pay as well. To the best of my knowledge, only about 10% of the 36 states including the FCT pays Corp Members. For those posted to cities, towns, rural areas and remote villages spend from N100,000 - N200,000, N70,000 – N80,000, N30,000 - N65,000 and N10,000 – N20,000 respectively on accommodation not including household items. Some of the employers will give us camp foam (mattress). I don’t know whether they expect us to spread it under the nearest tree and make a hut. Yes, some of the employers provide accommodation but it can only be about 5% of them. I observe that no supervision is carried out when private establishments request for Corp Members, because I have seen Corp Members sent to mushroom firms that cannot even pay their direct employees let alone caring for a Corp Member. Corp Members are being treated unjustly in their PPA’s and when we complain, we are being threatened with a query by the employer or extension of service by our coordinators.
In all these expenses, we are expected to survive with N19,800. We are really suffering, we cannot continue to be quite and die serving a country that does not care for our well-being. All we keep on hearing is “think of what you can do for your country and not what your country can do for you” and we forget that when you visit home on three consecutive occasions without biscuits for the children, then count yourself as an unwanted visitor.
Any Corp Member that do not have “GARRI” in the cupboard is seriously joking, because sometimes it will become doctor’s prescription which you have to drink three times a day for survival. We are also expected to report at our PPA’s four times a week and to embark on Community Development Service (CDS) once every week on an empty stomach. There are so many things to talk about but just calculate the expenses I just outlined at an average rate, then you will discover that N19,800 for 12 months is not appreciable. Our predecessors complained when things are not as bad as it is now, so imagine what we are going through.
Days has gone when Corp Members were respected and given most things free of charge. Nowadays, we do not identify ourselves as Corp Members in the marketplace or bus stops. Just make a mistake and go to the market with your face cap, you will buy a pepper of N50 at the rate of N200 all in the name of N19, 800 and we are also expected to save for the future. I could love to continue but for the sake of my readers, let me drop my pen.
All the constituted authorities should please do something towards the increment of the monthly peanut. Because if you call it “A Salary”, you are wrong. If you call it “An Allowance”, you are very wrong.

BREAKING: Senate Moves To Investigate Human Right Abuses, Extra-Judicial Killings And Unlawful Detention Of IPOB Members By Buhari's Govt






The Senate on Tuesday resolved to investigate all cases of human rights abuses allegedly committed by the police, Nigerian Army and other security agencies purportedly inspired by the executive arm of government.

It also set out to summon the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, for explanation.The red chamber said it would identify the culprits, victims and offer redress where necessary.

This scheduled positions were listed on the order paper for sponsorship by Senator David Umaru entitled, “Alarming rise in cases of alleged human rights violations and consistent assault on the provisions of the 1999 constitution by the executive”.

Although this motion was adopted but stepped down for another legislative day, Umaru affirmed that in the last few years, Nigeria’s democratic credentials have become questionable following alarming cases of alleged state-inspired human rights violations and consistent constitutional infractions perpetrated by agencies of government.

Notable instances of such human rights abuses, according to the lawmaker, is the continuous detention of the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd), for over two years in total disregard of over four court orders including that of the ECOWAS court.

Other such violations are: the continuous incarceration of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shi’ites, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, lack of accountability for human rights violations by security agencies and other militant elements including armed herdsmen, heavy-handed violent responses to peaceful protests as exemplified by previous crackdown on agitators from the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, (IPOB).

The upper chamber also interrogated the recent violent clashes between the police and suspected members of the IMN, who were protesting for the release of their leader, El-Zakzaky, in Abuja and Kaduna respectively.

The lawmakers, in addition, raised alarm over allegations of the country sliding into anarchy and despotism with indices of indiscriminate arrests, unconstitutional detention of citizens under questionable circumstances including Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe.

The upper chamber also queried the recent enactment of the controversial executive order No. 006 which permits security agencies to freeze the assets of persons standing trial without recourse to court order, alleged violent attacks on judicial officers and the release of $496 million USA dollars from the Excess Crude Account (ECA) for the purchase of 12 super Tucano aircrafts.

It is on this premise that the lawmakers urged the federal government to empanel a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to investigate all the said cases of human rights abuse as allegedly committed.

According to reports, the wedding which was planned for almost six months – was hidden from the girl’s family member because that is the principle of her church (Fishers of Men Charismatic church).



The angry brother, Raphael Udoye has taken to Facebook to raise an alarm and also alert the public of what happened.

Many people will say why did I went to work why my Blood sister is getting married.

It just started on 29th of June 2018, when a class mate of my so called sister “UDOYE BLESSING” chatted me that my sister is getting married and have printed a wedding card and I could not Invite her to the wedding. In surprise I asked Her “which of my sister is getting married and I did not know, Is it a Joke or what?”

She said she is with the wedding card that if I doubt her, I should Invite her to see the wedding Card. With my utmost surprise, I thought its a dream while its reality. On reaching home I called her to come that I want to ask her if what am hearing and seeing is true or a nightmare?



Surprisingly She replied “So U have not heard, If you want to know U have to come to our church to know more details”. Imagine someone that I thought is my sister have been deceived by Their so called Pastor From Fishers of men Charismatic church Isiokpo, that she should not tell any member of her family that she is getting married.

I asked my sister again “Blessing who is the man that is seeking your hand in marriage that your family members will not know? is he a ghost or human being? Are you Crazy? How Could you marry someone that your sibling dont Know? How old are You? Is Marriage your future to think for now? how can your pastor print and share wedding card without the consent of your family? Whose names is written in the Card?.

after all this Investigation I found out that the so called Abominable church “Fishers of Men Charistmatic Church Isiokpo, had plan the wedding since six months ago and hide it from the girls family. On Sunday 1st July 2018 when I Started reporting that this wedding will never hold in my eye, that is when our so called stupid inlaw receive information that the family did not agree that the wedding will hold.

On monday 2nd of July 2018, I am preparing to go work when someone knocked, after receiving the guest. he introduced himself to be the father of this man in the picture with my sister, that he heard we reject the wedding and traditional marriage which will hold on 7th and 8th of July 2018. That he came only to appeal for us to accept his apology to hold the wedding, that it will be an insult to him if the wedding did not hold, that he had informed their churches all over Nigeria that his Son Is getting marriage, that He had shared the wedding card Since ending of May 2018.



I asked him a question “Is this not the first time am seeing you? How can an elder like you do such evil, by printing a wedding card without knowing your inlaws? how can you fix dates for wedding and traditional marriage only you and your churches without seeing the parents of the Child.

He replied “that is the Order of their church, that the Family of the Girl will not know until the wedding date” Tufiaa!!!! this is a taboo and I have never seen such in Isiokpo Land since My Birth. and can never accept a taboo.

Indeed, Nigerian Government needs to borrow leadership skills, from Nnamdi Kanu, learn how to manage the Nigerian populace in a most peaceful manner like IPOB instead of looking for a cheap blackmail from IPOB supporters.
