uchezdedon: German embassy Ghana accepts it. See requirements below.
See the third requirements under adequate financial means. Even with that letter, you will need to provide block account. In Ghana, blocked account holders need to show that, they have a sponsor willing to give them €10332 yearly for the duration of their studies and capable of doing that base on the job they do(also sponsor have to accompany you to the embassy although it is not necessary.) Once they are satisfied with your sponsor, you need to block the amount and submit to the German embassy in Ghana. Ghana process is different from Nigeria, so be cautious using that method. Even if you have the money to sponsor yourself, you "might" be asked how you got the amount to be able to self-sponsor( it migh not apply to everyone if they think your source of fund is genuine)... THIS IS THE VISA PROCESS IN GHANA.. |

Christianity Etc › Priest Patrick Asomugha Leaves German Church After Receiving Death Threat by dooch(op): 5:05pm On Apr 18, 2020 |
Priest Patrick Asomugha faced racist remarks, break-ins and had his tires slashed in the small town where he lived in Germany. The death threat was the final straw, making it impossible for him to do his job, he says.
A Nigerian parish priest was forced to leave his post as the head of a parish in western Germany out of concerns for his safety, the parish and local church officials announced on Friday.
The pastor, Patrick Asomugha, and the diocese of Speyer made the decision to remove him after he received a death threat last month.
"Concerns for the safety and wellbeing of pastor Asomugha makes this step unavoidable," Andreas Sturm, vicar general for the Speyer diocese's bishop, said in a statement. "It would be irresponsible to continue exposing pastor Asomugha to the threat."
Racist remarks in church Asomugha took over as the head of a parish in Queidersbach, a small municipality in western Germany near the city of Kaiserslautern, in 2017.
The trouble began last year after unknown suspects broke into the parish house where he lived. In both instances, there was considerable damage to his property.
Parishioners became more hostile, with people reportedly uttering racist abuse during church services. Local public broadcaster SWR reported in July last year that parents were overheard saying: "I won't let my child be baptized by a black man."
"I'm not taking anything from those dirty black hands," one parishioner is reported to have said as Asomugha held communion. At the time, the diocese in Speyer declined to comment on specific cases.
Last year, someone slashed the tires of Asomugha's car. The abuse grew worse, culminating in a death threat posted on the pastor's garage door. Two days later, unknown suspects shattered bottles believed to be filled with alcohol in the entryway into parish house where Asomugha lives.
'Impossible to lead normal parish life' The death threat was the final straw. Asomugha said that the threats made it impossible to continue his work.
"Under these circumstances, I can no longer fulfil my duties as a pastor in Queidersbach," Asomugha said in a statement.
According to the church, he'd repeatedly called for reconciliation and peace within the parish and the wider community. In October, the church in Queidersbach held a "solidarity mass" to support Asomugha. Around 600 people attended the service to stand up to racism in their community.
Despite the service, the abuse continued and escalated, underscoring the danger he faced if he were to stay.
"The attacks against my person make it almost impossible to lead a normal parish life in Queidersbach," Asomugha said.
Asomugha will leave his post on Monday, but will still hold an as-yet-undisclosed position within the diocese of Speyer.. https://m.dw.com/en/nigerian-priest-leaves-german-parish-after-receiving-death-threat/a-53167601?fbclid=IwAR1aBbcItLaaCg6g2HsZsc7ux2Nl_UTaIrpbepapQxc8YErodzm8yIBrcGo

Kendocity4u: Good morning guyz..................i have a question........if someone was rejected before(he used Bsc Admission letter for interview) and has now been admitted for masters and wants to try again..................what are his chances?................does it smack of desperation to travel?? It doesn't. It's the reason you give that determines whether you get the visa or not. You have to give convincing reasons why you want to study the course. Your sponsorship, and how you tend to fend for yourself could also be a factor. |

Romance › Re: My Ten Year Struggle With Sex Addiction Is Ruining me. by dooch(m): 11:44am On Jan 10, 2020 |
It's normal to feel awful when you relapse. The trick I always use to help with any addiction or bad habit: once you realise you have fallen back into bad habits. Just quickly start doing the good habit again irrespective of how you feel about betraying your plan.
Your positive actions should always be independent of how you think negatively about yourself. Action is what gets things done. Is what helps you develop new habit. Not your self-pity. Remember those days when although you know having sex was going to mess up your plan. But you did it anyway. You acted against your feelings which re-enforces your bad habit.
Use the same technique for good habit. No matter how you feel about yourself and how stupid and dump you are. Always act contrary to your feelings. They produce the good habit you want. |
