Demonslayer, I saw this thread and thought you might enjoy reading it. If I’m honest; I fear the pain of growth. I now understand (thanks to op) that it’s the old self that is afraid of dying.

I can’t birth the honourable one until I put out the current resident. I have to give her her eviction notice! There’s inflation in the land and she isn’t capable of paying the rent. The more pain and discomfort I feel the closer I am to evicting her.

I’m guessing rice must not be a staple in west Africa, so it becomes a luxury. In East Africa rice is a staple so spaghetti becomes the fancy meal to have on special occasions. I think it’s economical rather than cultural. Like you said; “poverty masquerading as prestige.”

Let your food be 90% what you can plant.
Minimize dead food
Be active physically.
Be around lively and happy people.
Live within your means.
Never regret, take am, as you see am.
Be unique and never get jealous.
Do something that's harmless and makes you happy.
Love but nor carry am for head.


Finally, pray let God make you reach as from 80 years and above wiith good health.

I think you’re playing yourself. If the relationship with guy doesn’t work out then you have created a reputation among your friends. This doesn’t look good on you. If you were smart you would have built a friendship with the guy and use your feminine prowess to reel him in instead of throwing yourself onto his plate like that. I would say abort mission, apologise to your friend, and learn from this experience.

I think with most things anxiety is a major factor, so try to accept yourself as you are. Go on YouTube and find Louise Hay and listen to her talks. Do her positive affirmations every evening before bed so your subconscious can get the message that you are perfectly fine, capable, loveable, and happy with yourself.

I remembered years ago when my elder sis gave birth and I went to visit, I stayed for a month. One day they went out and I was alone with the child, the child defeacate, I thought it was just to remove the dirty pampers and put her another pampers.

I no know how e happen but na so shit crawl comot for pampers full the house, my face was full of shit, the couch, the tv remote, the floor.

From that day, I respect anybody that can change pampers.

There was a time I was banned and my post deleted by the spambots, I had created a duplicate post and later on, my deleted post was returned by the spambots. I was surprised seeing the same post duplicated by the bots so, I kukuma deleted one myself.

I’ve noticed this recently! I got banned and post deleted, only for it to be back after my ban expired. I really hope Seun figures it out soon because although I love the troll free nairaland, the unnecessary bans are becoming a drag.

She was not an average citizen who was born and raised in the Uk. She and many others exploited a loophole and that law was changed to combat that exploitation.
