Kia rio 05_011 transmission that cheapwow

Probably a case of driving above safe speed limit, might be wrong though.

Both codes are pointing in the same direction, the ECU is signalling an issue with an input signal from the air metering system. Probably a dirty MAF or IAT sensor or an electrical issue. Let the big dogs arrive, they would profer a better solution with there experiences.

Let's start all over; what is ur average fuel consumption in mpg. Let's know the definition of "choping" fuel.

Its was boldly written negotiable. Though I agree with u it's quite on the high side, but it's open for negotiations. Good cars hardly come cheap though, trust me I speak from experience.

buy total coolant from total filling station. It works wonder. Oga gazuzz recommended it &since no regret.

OEM recomends Toyota super long life coolant...Pink in color or toyota long long life coolant;red in color.

Great car,one can never go wrong owning one.

PTI would be a good place to start from, they run some welding programs and issue diploma on completion I think.

Car gurus Abeg.... Is a v6 xle Camry a bad idea compared to i4? Taking everything into consideration : performance, Durability, resale value, maintenance? Seeing they cost the same...... I'm talking about 2011 Camry. I'm asking for a male friend

V6 gives more power, and better performance but it comes with a price of higher fuel consumption when compared to I4, in terms of resale value i4 has better resale value due to its better fuel economy and lower ruining costs. As for maintenance i4 is easier to maintain when compared to its v6 counterpart. 6plugs vs 4 plugs. When changing oil u wld need more gallons and lesser for an i4..the list goes on.

I just bought baby boy V6 2000 model last month
But every time I want to accelerate , the car will be jerking before finally pick.
(2) when AC is on the car vibrate.
(3) when you engaged the gear, don't usually pick on time specially when the car has been packed for long time.

All these weren't noticed prior to purchase, I feel ur pains; u should always seek for a competent mech to inspect a car before purchase, u might spend a few box but it's worth it

I have a 2010 corolla, the fuel consumption is nothing to write home about, there's no check engine light. I've changed the air filter and cleaned the 'nozzle' to no effect.
A weekly N5,000(35.48L) gives me 200 miles with AC full time.

In my calculations I should be getting 240 miles if indeed the mpg is mpg city and "26 mpg city and 35 mpg highway and 30 combined.

What could be the cause because the car shortchanges me about 8miles per N1000 fuel.

I brought it to your workshop about 2months ago and since there was no check engine light, your workers said all is good.

I also noticed that once I press the accelerator, it seems air/gas is escaping from under the hood. What could be the cause.

I think vehicles fuel economy as stated by manufacturer is done under controlled conditions without AC and other accessories on, so try driving around without AC and recalculate ur vehicle fuel economy. By the way this thread is dedicated to hybrid related issues. Direct ur query to other gazzuzz thread for a response.

Oga Gazzuzz,my driver opened and checked the radiator water level on my hyundai accent 2012 and didn't cover it back properly, while driving i believe the engine heat up and the water pushed off the radiator cover which lead to the water drying up and the engine overheating and the car stopping on the road, the engine has cooled down now and i put in some water just to be able to start it and check if the gasket is not burnt, please kindly advise of what type of coolant i can use and if i can just pour the coolant in directly myself.

The coolant temperature guage on ur cluster should have detected a rise in temperature. U should get that checked as well if u survive this.

My car started this strange behavior recently. After I drive home from work through the normal 3rd mainland bridge traffic and i get home then park, the car refuses to start after I turn off the engine. I mean, after turning off the engine, then try to start it again it doesn't start. If I leave the engine to then cool off for about 5-10 minutes, it then starts again once I try. My mechanic asked me to buy a brand new battery, I did and it still continued. He told me to then change the kick starter, no results still. He also asked me to pay for a car wash to wash the radiator which I did, still no result. I need urgent help pls, has anybody experienced this before? Now he's telling me to buy a new radiator all together and change one of the fans. Ive spent so much already, can't afford to spend all the money without result. I need the car up and running in the next one week cos I need it for a function. I'll be waiting on ur responses pls
Let me also add that its a Honda accord 2009 (evil spirit)
The mechanics diagnosis now is that the radiator is not strong enough for the engine, especially cos I always use my car AC so my car overheats (even though the temperature guage says its normal) which causes it to not start after a long drive, hence the need for a new radiator.

I think u should get ur car scanned for error codes before wasting money on trial and errors.

nothing is wrong with it. the only thing is that, the engine of the one is at the back instead of front that is why it is cheap

I doubt if it even has an engine
The only reason a car of this nature can come cheap is if it was smuggled past customs.

Yesterday, I took my car for servicing. while changing plug (we noticed one plug was so tight, mech added hydrolic and said I should drive, so to let it loosen)

While servicing injectors noozles, we noticed, 2 of them is bad. (So he said) we replaced.

My check engine light has been on for like 2 months, one of the reason, I took the car for servicing.

Today, as I was driving home, I noticed a much more improved performance. But boom, check engine light comes on, blinks for some seconds and stops, then starts again and the car vibrates too, D on the dashboard starts blinking too. Na wao, na so I use my hand take cause big problem for madam.

Please car gurus, I need answers please.

Blinking check engine light is a serious cause for concern get ur car scanned asap to avoid further damage. My guess is that u have a serious case of engine misfire hence the blinking check engine light.
