If you are on a budget, American Panel door is ok.

I think I will settle with the american panel doors for the internal rooms, and use fabricated steel doors for main entrances into the building......heard the China brands are relatively stronger than the Nigerian made,how true is that??.

Go for HDF Doors that are fabricated and can be confirmed to be wholly HDF not those they claim to be imported that will turn out to have Mdf as internal( talking from experience @ Odun Ade Market,Orile). It may be costly but it’s durable and beautiful.

I'm rilly working on a very tight budget,I know HDF are strong and nice but going fo that option would set my project back by over 2million, and my projection for doors is about 1million tops. Hence my choice to go for watson or these budget friendly american panel doors for internal rooms but I'm sceptical about the quality of those door,especially the american panel doors.Thanks all thesame.

Those Watson Time panel doors and purported Turkey doors are not durable, When exposed to water and also constant opening it tends to start wearing over time.

Mainly embedded with cartons.

Greetings oga spyder,please what's your opinion on Goodwill ceramic tiles. Intend using the brand for tiling the main lounge(60×60) and rooms(40×40)...good idea?

The price quoted is way too high. Just did piping for a storey building containing 8 mini flat (4 up and 4 down) in Lagos a month ago.
Below is what the electrician sent but we ended up going with the electrician thereby saving over 50k. We paid him for workmanship 110k

Was this quotation for just upstairs or both ground and top floor??

What exactly is the labour and installation all about for the aluminum windows. Isn't labour supposed to be included in the charge per window design??.
The plastering seems fair considering the fact I got a bill similar to urs for just 2 blocks of 3bedroom flat. And urs is 4 blocks of 2bedroom.

It can be done,but it's not the easiest approach. Plumbing would be difficult and expensive with such a layout.

Don't knw much about zinc roofing sheet, why don't u use aluminium roofing sheet, it's better in terms of durability and aesthetics

Very true bro, when taking on building projects,millions begin to sound and feel like kobo, when i got th quotation i thought it was a fair deal, but going forward I'll get quotations from 2 or 3 vendors before making a choice.

Way too cheap...spent 1.3mill on labour for plastering (interior & exterior) a blocks of 3bedroom flat.(1 flat down stairs and another block upstairs.)
Though it's being handled by an engineer,so I guess his supervision fee is included in that bill.

Workmanship is expensive for just the internal plastering. Always get three quotation for any job. I just did plastering for six flat, three down and three up for 750k for external and internal plastering excluding decking, bathrooms wall and kitchen walls.

Did u just say u plastered 6 flats of 3bedroom( 3 flats down stairs and 3 upstairs) for 750k labour charge?
