U might have a stuck brake caliper, to confirm jack the suspected "dragging" wheel and try spinning the tires with ur hands (shift ur gear to N and deactivate ur hand brake).if too much effort is required to spin the wheel then a stuck caliper could be the culprit.
Let us know how it goes the gurus can take it up from there.

Its easy to identify; take a look at ur rear wheels,disc brakes have this shiny looking metal plate behind the wheels. So confirm if all 4 wheels have the "shiny looking plate".

GAZZUZZ please help, 05 Highlander recently seizes one of the back tire. It feels like something is dragging it, hence, the car won't move freely. I was thinking it's because of the numerous mud like water the car has entered but what do I know.

Does the "dragging" wheel feel abnormally hot after driving a distance.??

I just got a Toyota corolla 2007 model last year. Initially i used conventional Mobil oil (the one sold for 5K). I later switched to Mobil synthetic this year and have not serviced my car in 6 months. The car is jerking a bit and i got our company driver to check, he says i may have to change the plugs and service the car... Some of my friends says Synthetic oil is not necessary for Older, high mileage cars... my car is about 135k.... what do you think please ?

What kidda Mobil synthetic oil did u use, if it's not annual protection then 6 months without oil change is way too long, I think it's either 3000miles or 6months which ever comes first, as for the issue of jerking, have ur car scanned. Synthetic oil not necessary for older cars with high milage; I have no idea about that, let's wait for the subject matter experts to comment on that.

I'm telling you. Last yesr, i bought 4,000 fuel and immediately embarked on a journey from Uyo to Enugu a distance of 236km and was hitting 170km/h speed, only a little shift in the fuel meter at the destination. Impressive!

And one begins to imagine why they are so expensive....did enugu to lagos with ac full blast with just 6k fuel.

Ensure u get rid of whatever attracts dem, things like food particles,make use of naphthalene (camphor) in hidden corners of ur car,get an air freshener also. Let's see how that goes.

Will do the full tank trial. I'm able to get 75km from 20 litres.

How did you come up with this result, this is how I think it's norm. done (stand to be corrected though); fill up ur tank, zero ur trip reading before leaving the petrol station, drive around till ur guage goes to half mark(city and high way) then u fill up again,take note of the final trip reading. Divide the trip distance (miles or km) by the amount of fuel (L) required to fill up the tank again..that's ur fuel consumption.

Not at all....no work had been done on brake light switch.

Evening Gazzuzz, i drive an 09 corolla 2zrfe engine.....on my way to work the other day, i noticed smoke and a burning smell oozing from the driver's side wheel, did a little research and discovered a stuck brake caliper is the usual suspect, got my tools ready and dismantled the caliper and found the bottom slider pin as the culprit. Extracted both the top and bottom slider pin, wiped it clean, applied a little grease and assembled it. Loosened the bleeder valve in other to retract the caliper piston so it fits into the caliper bracket mount. Bleed the brake and fixed my wheels.
Did a test drive and every thing seems to be fine, so here comes my question;
Do i need to follow the bleed sequence and bleed all 4 wheels or I'm good to go just bleeding that single disc brake I worked on

Never fully hose down an engine....... Simply get a rag + brush, and manually wipe it down..........

It might take you an hour, but an hour well worth it........

A picture of my engine bay, it gets a clean and wipe down every other month............

Depends on your speed. At higher speed, the drag generated by having your windows open offsets the lack of AC.

In any case, AC does affect fuel economy. Don't be deceived.

Like the man above, though, my AC is always on, causes das how star do. Best way to use AC is with temperature and fan on lowest.

Speed matters bro, at higher speeds of about 60mph driving with ac on is more economical than Windows down due to drag but at speed less than 60mph windows down is the way to go if u wanto save some bucks on fuel.

And u boast of a 100% faultless vehicle but I can see the check engine light illuminating on the dash.

Possible but not practical at above 2800 feet bro, every little kg of load count at such a height. Difficult for one to carry him self at such a height due to exhaustion coupled with extreme weather talk more moving a dead body. Don't forget they would have to move the body down slopes very steep on nature.

Limited bottle supply, u might ask why not carry more, the weight would make climbers fatigue easily. So climber carry about 2 to 3 bottles. With some stored at various camps.

Pls wat could be responsible for fuel pump failure on Toyota Camry 08. Changed it few months ago and it's faulty again.
Also, do I just change pump or the complete assembly.

In my opinion, i don't think its the best choice for a first timer. But if u decide to forget ahead, 1.5 mil wld def get u an abused lexus, increase ur budget.
