hello gazzuzz, after I rotated my tires this morning, (brought the rear tires to the front and vice versa) later today i experienced steering shake at speed 90km/hr and above. even at idle the steering was also shaking small small...pls did i do wrong by rotating the tires or wetin spoil?

Switch to default and see if it persist,if it does then u have a faulty rear tire or rim, that explains the vibration at high speed and for vibration at ideal, let the masters explain.

I have neighbours who I have closely watched for a while now. It's a syndicate that bring in people in 3 - 4 different vehicles. (usually one person at a time) accompanied by 2-3others in a vehicle they enter into their apartment 20-30mins later they all walk out and return the third party. I have asked people around my area what goes on in that room and I was told the vehicles move around like taxis, pickup unsuspecting individuals, brain wash them, take them into the room and after a while return them to where they picked them up from. Every one on the street seems to know, but no one talks about it. I do not have concrete evidence but it is obvious they are shady characters.

How do I tip off the authorities to investigate these people without getting involved?

It's a good car but it's too risky. I'd personally go for it if I can get a guarantee that whatever fault that comes from it after the gearbox is fixed will be handled by the owner and we have to test drive it for 1 week to be sure... And it will be a written agreement and signed with eye witnesses.

Changing the transmission is th least of th problem, how can one ascertain there are no other underlying issues, since a test drive would be impossible due to defective transmission; or would u give a sort of guarantee on any other error detected after transmission replacement.

Just got a Toks MAF and A/F sensors.

Please help on what to do to resolve this issue.

Tht code indicates ur engine is running too rich( more fuel less air), as gazzuzz stated lots of factors could be th cause, buh I'll advice u start from the easiest; which is cleaning ur MAF sensor. A dirty MAF sensor could give wrong air flow reading causing the system to burn more than the required amount of fuel.

If the hot air doesn't blow tru the vent aswell, then it's likely u might have an opening causing heat flow from engine bay...let's wait for expert opinions.

My Peugeot 307 blows hot air over driver’s feet and passengers feet when car is moving. Even though the fan is off. This makes the car interior very hot while driving. Pls what could be the problem?

Check if u turned on the heater mistakenly.

Please GAZZUZZ ... I just bought a new Toyota corolla 2005 model.. It's my first car and I don't even know my left from my right.. I was advised to change engine oil and oil filter. I don't kno the best ones for the car specs and how often it should be changed... Secondly I was advised to remove thermostat and connect the fan directly by one mechanic like dat to avoid overheating... Please sir I really need the basics first.. I can learn gradually... Just tell me first things to look out for..

Like uve been previously adviced; look for another mech....to keep it simple;without a thermostat ur engine would run below the required temperature, which would lead to higher fuel consumption.

It's an 09 corolla, I haven't really paid attention to know if it actually goes off when running.. but I'll definitely keep an eye on it.

the question is should you be worried? Yes you should. Fan failure can occur if it always runs steady.

Boss i noticed the radiator fan comes on immediately I crank up my engine, the temperature Guage on instrument clusters rest at half mark after about 3-4 mins of idle, and the coolant temperature sensors reading falls within specs (90-93 C) without AC on and around(93-96) at full blast ac (i came accross those figures by running a live coolant temperature sensor test using torque pro)....should I be worried since the engine isn't running on low temperature.or is it something I'll need to fix.

It's a 1zz-fe not a 2zr-fe engine. Recommended is 5w30.

you should use 5w30. Please do not use 5w20.

Please I'll like to know, any particular reason why u suggested he used 5w30 in place of th recommended 0w20 or 5w20 specified by the manufacturer.

Is ur check engine light on??if yes then u need to scan for fault codes.

the wheel is unbalanced. Start by swapping rear rims.

Greetings auto gurus in th house, has an impact to my left wheel while driving th other day( hit a log of wood on the high way at 55-60mph which exploded my tire), replaced my tire, shock ( cos it got bent due to th collision)as well as some bad suspension components, did an alignment awell ..everything seems to be fine afterwards. Yesterday on th highway enroute benin I noticed vibration coming from the right wheel side (same wheel side I had an impact previously). Happens whenever I drive above 85mph and increase as I go beyond that speed. Any speed below 80mph the vibration disappears., what exactly did my mech miss out...thanks in anticipation.

My check engine light was triggered by an engine misfire as well as an evap code, booked an appointment with gazzuzz and visited his office, th chairman battled with the issues while a took a nap, when he was done,he gave me my keys and bid me a farewell without taking a dime....maximum salute for such a kind gesture. Check what he did on cylinder 3. Re check coils, injectors, and sparkplugs. Ensure your ECU isn't bad sha. What car is this biko?

An 09 corolla

Good day gurus in the house, my check engine line popped up and noticed an increase in fuel consumption.
Did a scan and got the error "p 303 cylinder misfire, powertrain. Took it to a mech he cleaned the fuel filter and serviced the injector.
After 2days the check engine light is back on, and I've also noticed the fuel consumption is quite high, what could be wrong.

You will need Toyota long life coolant: pink in color.

It is already premixed, so e to completely drain your radiator and engine block off the water presently there.


i would advise you use the service of a mechanic. Contact Gazzuzz or Mayor2013 if in lagos.

Budget for 2 4-liter cans of the coolant.
