That is the way to go,interdependence, progressive cooperation between executive and legislature.
It is only in the case of corruption and constitutionality that there should be independence and non cooperation.
Otherwise both legislature and executive should always work in the same direction for the people and common goal.
Those who think the legislature is there to antagonise and abuse the executive(as championed by the likes of Dino Melaye),should have their brain examined. |

RichDad1: Sanwo-Olu is a very clueless governor. He might end up being the worst governor in Lagos state history. The same OPay that has been helping Lagosians meet up with appointments, avoid sacks and saved lots of productive hours usually spent in Lagos traffic on a daily basis ? Why are these people allergic to anything that will reduce the transportation woes of the average Lagos residents ? The traffic laws only banned motorcycles with engine capacity lesser than 200cc from plying the highways and other restricted routes. To the best of my knowledge, OPay , Max etc use motorcycles with engine capacity around 250cc upwards. The amount of traffic in Lagos metropolis is unprecedented, Yet this point and kill Governor wants to to make things worse. While tankers are having a field day on the roads and he’s at lost as to what to do, it’s the Bike that are helping to alleviate the suffering that he’s barking at. All the roads he announced will be repaired or reconstructed as soon as possible are still the same thing. From Badagry to Ikorodu , Epe, Alimosho, etc. Infact all the 5 divisions of Lagos state is worse than he met them. I hope Cardinal Odumbaku and other Lagos APC stalwarts are taking keen interest on this accidental Governor they foisted on us? AMBO was bad, pompous, not a good party man etc. But I don’t think Sanwo-Olu is any better. Rubbish talk. You want Sanwo olu to have repaired all roads mentioned within how many months?More so when the rains have just receded? Is comparing 4yr performance with 6month performance not extreme foolishness? |

What i don't understand is how we can be borrowing money when other companies owe us. This government is crazy. Seems comprehension is your major challenge. Iamgrey5: This proves nothing tbh.
No Ebira man was on the ballot when okene voted in 2015.
It was late prince Audu an Igala man that contested with Wada. Great observation. An unbiased analysis would have highlighted that as a probable but may be not the actual reason for the abnormal variance. A more superior analysis to highlight rigging would have been to compare Okene with Dekina. |

The fact that a medical student started year 1 does not qualify him or her to practice medicine.
All I am saying is we need a process in Nigeria. The system is broken. Nigeria is the only place in the world where one needs a BSc to get a job as a truck driver but all you need to be a president is to set foot in a secondary school without completing or taking exams. Olodo. Is everything all about university education? Perhaps you should have Bsc in political science to be qualified to lead your country. So Buhari's school cert qualification, military training equivalent of msc degree and experience is not enough to be president, abi? You better appreciate the difference between applying for the job of chief engineer, from that of contesting a political leadership post and stop comparing apples with oranges. Nonsense! |

fatymore: my problem is the begging... They shouldn't be begging for votes, let their precedent work for them... And I be madam Oga madam Let us think deeply: Can you beg someone you do not give a dam about? Is begging for forgiveness of shortcomings,a weakness or strength? If they rely solely on rigging, would they be begging the people for forgiveness? Is to forgive a strength or weakness? Would bringing back PDP that created the salary arrears problem be an option for non forgiveness? |

It is the minimum wage for the lowest entry point.

vinceobe: Supreme Court delivers first ruling against Atiku, PDP
The Supreme Court on Wednesday delivered its first ruling against the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Atiku and his party are before the apex court to challenge the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the February 23, 2019 poll. The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, who leads the seven-man panel of the apex court, in the lead ruling consented to by other members, overruled Atiku and his party’s request that their seven interlocutory appeals should be heard after the main one must have been argued. The seven-man panel held that it would be unnecessary to hear the interlocutory appeals when a judgment on the main appeal marked SC.1211/2019 would cover the field. Final ruling given subsequently. |
