It is not reasonable to isolate a sentence and try to criticize it without understanding the context in which it was used.

phantom: very true. I personally know the doc involved. its so sad.
Please who is this doctor ?
He has put the life of a lot of people at risk and has cost the government millions or billions of Naira.
Unfurtunately he is dead but i recommend a long jail term for the diplomat and survivors of acts like his.

PoliticsRe: My Phones In Court’s Custody Called My New Number —ndume by Dracula27: 12:25pm On Jul 10, 2014
The phone line is in the custody of the court while the court is also being shown that he is receiving calls from the line.
The key evidence against him in the case is that he repeatedly called ..... who is boko haram kingpin from his line.
The line was not retrieved, everything is being done with the sole purpose of discrediting the prosecutions key evidence by proving that your phone line can be used to make calls without your knowledge or consent.
PoliticsRe: More Northerners Detained In Fresh Abia Raid. by Dracula27: 10:48am On Jul 08, 2014
Very biased article.
The write up is economical with the truth and aims to herd the opinion of readers to believe that muslims are being victimised.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Regroups, Invades Borno Towns by Dracula27: 11:34am On Jun 23, 2013
haka_nai: Not every news makea it to media and i will not be surprised either. As they have attacked schools in yobe and maiduguri killing scores of people. They military needs to keep the tempo and not relax now. Before it tilts in there favor for endurance and persistance. They army and volunteers need to spread to remote enclaves and improve response time. They cant afford to lose now.
That's what i am saying.
When they crawled into schools and attacked people the news was known and verifiable but this one is not.
It does not take much for a few people to crawl into a soft target and attack people.

Very sloppy work by the security agencies. For boko haram to retake Bama after the Army seized it is a very bad development. You can't chase insurgents out of a border town and leave when it seems the fighting has stopped.
The opinion you are expressing should make us either question the news or the sanity of the Army.
For me i think it is just sensational journalism aimed at drawing attention at the expense of truth.
Eeeh fit b BH propaganda too ooo.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Regroups, Invades Borno Towns by Dracula27: 9:16am On Jun 23, 2013
Before we run along and start making comments let us confirm if this report is true.
If BH are attacking towns the news would be available on other media and we would know.
PoliticsRe: Rivers Police Chief Attacks Amaechi by Dracula27: 8:10am On Jun 21, 2013
In certain situations silence can be taken to mean consent.
If the CP had not spoken we would not have known as much as we know now.
Ameachi brought the case to the court of public opinion .
Now he has spoken with verifiable facts and our responses are no more on facts or issues.

PoliticsRe: Has Poverty Level Reduced....?acn Asks Jonathan by Dracula27:
bloggernaija: The poverty in Lagos is federal poverty.
No naa we should not talk like that. If there is good in Lagos it is Lagos good, if there is poverty in Lagos it is federal poverty.
Let us be fair in our evaluation.
The poverty situation was not built in a day and would not go suddenly.
Using it as a rallying cry would hold great appeal because hunger dey Nigeria but knowledgeable people know there is no magic formula to make it disappear.
We would have to work towards it.
PoliticsRe: Has Poverty Level Reduced....?acn Asks Jonathan by Dracula27: 3:18pm On Jun 20, 2013
CROWÉ: It is hard to reduce poverty in any state if you have limited powers to regulate the population or economy. What happens in Lagos is greatly influenced by forces Fashola has no power over, much of this is thanks to the constitution but most straight forward is the fact that we have a constant stream of poor people running to Lagos every day, that there is the nugget. Even if the lives of residents living in Lagos when Fashola assumed office has improved it won't mean much owing to the fact that a few million more people have moved there and have now become his responsibility. For any governor to enrich his state, they all must and that guarantees the failure of Nigeria.
I appreciate your answer.
My point is that it is not a realistic question that was being asked.
Asking Fashola that question is also not realistic because they are other issues involved.
The FG can also say that WA is a border-less economic bloc so the impact of government is being mopped up by immigration. The issue is a comparism between micro and macro economics. One party is claiming to be making macro economic progress and the other party is challenging the claim not even on micro economic terms but on parameters even narrower than that. With where Nigeria is, a proper foundation needs to be established. The present FG might not be the best but i think their direction is correct.
PoliticsRe: Has Poverty Level Reduced....?acn Asks Jonathan by Dracula27:
Why are we being taken on an intellectual ride?
Has Fashola's good governance in Lagos reduced poverty in Lagos state?
There are foundations on which the future can be built and that is what is really important.
PoliticsRe: Abuja Court Strikes Out Terrorism Charges Against Amigo Supermarket Boss by Dracula27: 12:10am On Jun 20, 2013
Terrorism is outside the jurisdiction of the magistrate court that is why the prosecutor asked that that particular charge be withdrawn. They would still be charged in a competent court.

With the interests involved how do we know the poll is correct?
People complaining about internet security contract would not notice that their cyber space is easily accessible by foreign media.
PoliticsRe: Maku Defends $6.2bn "Internet Spy Contract" To Israeli Firm by Dracula27: 7:33am On Jun 17, 2013
234GT: This money should have been spent on agriculture or education, so that people`s lives will be affected dierctly.
How does the average orange seller down the street who does not know what an e-mail is benefit from an internet spy contract?
Talking about misplaced priorities and bad allocation of resources!
All advanced countries in the world have their cyber space monitored. Nigeria's bad international reputation is born out of a loose cyberspace.

InvestmentRe: Continue School Or Start A Business - Please Advice by Dracula27: 7:36pm On Jun 11, 2013
The business drive is already in you.
You should add an education to it.
Why have only one when you can have both? and besides no matter how well you do in business your not being educated would almost always be a sort of handicap.
PoliticsRe: DPO Of Ogida Police Station Benin City Caro Afegbuai.killing Someone On Broad Da by Dracula27: 2:11pm On Jun 11, 2013
Let us not jump the gun here, the video does not show "DPO of Ogida police station benin city Caro Afegbuai.Killing someone on broad day light" as it claims.
The robber was with a gun so obviously they did not walk over to him to collect his gun.
From where he was shot he most likely got shot in a gun fight.
From the closeness of the crowd to the event it was obviously not in a police station and the video did not show any police presence.
PoliticsRe: NGF: How Akpabio Bungled Peace Effort by Dracula27: 10:43pm On Jun 10, 2013
Pukkah: Why are you choosing to believe in a rumour when the man involved (Amaechi) has unambigously stated that he's not vying for any position in the presidency?

Are you guys afraid of your own shadows?
The same way GEJ said he is not yet decided on 2015, he has no problem with the governor and has no hand in his travails.
My brother let us not lie on the obvious.
PoliticsRe: NGF: How Akpabio Bungled Peace Effort by Dracula27: 8:55pm On Jun 10, 2013
His words: “In our days, we were not using the forum to look for power, but to share ideas on good governance as it affects our states and the country. The whole system has been messed up and Nigerians should not take them seriously anymore.”
Using the forum to look for power is Ameachi's problem and was the real problem with the NGF as it was.
We should not forget that there are other people that want to run for president and they are not having troubles. The rumour is that Ameachi wants to be vice P and his presidential candidate is not having troubles
