practikal: True, why didn't bassey inform Melvin & bev about the conspiracy
abeg, you are fine...but stop talking like this
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by Drahmah: 10:30am On Jul 15, 2013
You guys gotta chill on bassey! Talking about "he's playing the game". At least, he isn't out there killing potential votes by nominating region mates...he's west african, he aint nominating fellow west africans cos he knows he'll need d votes when and if he's up. Can't say the same about our over exuberant mamba- black daughter and sister...God help beverly tho
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by Drahmah: 10:18am On Jul 15, 2013
Oh God! Who sent beverly to BBA? She's so brainless! Nominating bassey? Really? Disnt someone give this girl tips b4 she entered the chase?

Bimp moves on to dillish...the struggle
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by Drahmah: 11:45pm On Jul 13, 2013
You guys have to chill! U can't keep blaming and criticizing people. Melvin isn't omnipresent...he can't be everywhere, he can't be perfect. He wasn't with bev when it happened. If he were, he wouldn't ignore her; he was arnd selly, that's why he could notice her condition and tend to her. People are already talking selfishness and melvin wanting to be d only naija rep...ridiculous! And beverly, she's human. Humans make mistakes, she's drunk, that's why it happened. She was in the RR earlier, and didn't quite slip up. The 37 year old man from south Africa is the one ya'll should be against. He took bev upstairs in her drunken state, and messed her up...its stunning how cheap some men can be

Lol! All of you thanking Goodness bassey intervened; how about this?!...angelo FINGERRRED beverly. I just saw a pic...angelo's hands in between her inner thighs. Lol...bev's such a mess. Its d alcohol I guess
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by Drahmah: 9:49pm On Jul 13, 2013
Owl'neal actually said "fvck west africa"...these guys need to be punished. Aren't there rules in this game? Why hate on a people?
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by Drahmah: 12:21am On Jul 13, 2013
I've read comments here, and Everybody seems to be too hard on just selly. Yes, she messed up by giving it up to a guy after a few hours with him(if it really did happen). And yes, selly can be a drama queen, she's a gossip, but then she's a WOMAN...nando, is a MAN(so he claims), he should understand, and know better. You can't talk to(about) women like that no matter what; even if she "gave u chlymadia". telling bimp he slept with selly is wrong, and telling him she has chlymadia is wicked! He shouldn't hv slept with her without condoms if he cared so much about his well-being. But then, it only goes to show his level of maturity; nando is no different from hakeem, and should face the same level of contempt from viewers. He's publicly deformed disrespected women(pokello and selly) time and again...that's not right, and if his actions recently aren't worthy of a double strike, I don't know what is. Its a game, but there are boundaries and rules that must be maintained. I can't help but wonder if "women" who have been quick to condemn selly this evening are actually women...I am not a selly fan, I just hate to see manhood ridiculed.
Music/RadioRe: The Truth (mode 9 Diss)- Vector by Drahmah: 12:28am On Jul 10, 2013
fubbyy: who da Bleep is vector that we should know some three years ago while dropping a wack debut album
vector is seeking cheap publicity...how can you say modo is king of rap, and then diss him? These cats can't even stay true, yet they tell us they real. Like someone said, its 20percent possibility that modo replies...vector aint nowhere close to him, so why bother? But if modo does reply...I guess its ll cool j to his music career

I saw this coming...this shows that melvin actually rang the diary room's doorbell to put himself in hakeem's stead...I am not disappointed in his decision, he's playing his game his way. I guess he's just plain nice. I understand that some of us are angry cos we wouldn't "pull a melvin", but the deed is done, and let's face it, its a smart move. Melvin is pulling massive votes from all around africa; he was already loved by some, but this?...this Is the icing on it! we can't be left out...we all gotta vote melvin! I've rooted for melvin and beverly from day one, it aint changing now!

Melvin is soft...yes, but its who he is I guess. It could actually pay off in d long run...won't be surprised if he goes through the season without getting nominated for evictions

SAGirl: Nigerians take themselves way too seriously. I have to wonder what you would do if you had to face the levels of criticism and batterings that are always directed at us. We would have African War 1!
lololol...its just a post, but really? "Nigerians take themselves way too seriously?" I'm surprised you're criticizing nigerians now, seeing as melvin, beverly or any of our previous reps at the BBA have never spoken ill of any country...if we "take ourselves way too seriously", what then do you think about the "mr perfect" from botswana?
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by Drahmah: 11:08pm On Jul 04, 2013
I've taken time to study o'neal... I've continuously tried to understand why a 30something year old man behaves like he does; the use of ridiculously awful phrases (like ,"at this particular juncture"wink the endless yearn for "perfection and due process", his ancient and twisted taste of music, and the way he's quick to judge people, races and countries(particularly nigeria), that's when it occured to me that it's all transferred aggression and withdrawal. Yes o'neal is depressed...at an odd side of 30, he's still an unsuccessful radio DJ, who even after appearing on a previous BBA as guest DJ could not capitalize on d opportunity to push himself, his career and image. He's just an old man who is mad at fate for birthing him in botswana, a country that is known only by its inhabitants and citizens, a country that doesn't offer much to his career as a DJ, and a country that even if given nigeria's resources, cannot be as bright because its name alone rings bad luck(just kiddin). Well, we can understand his plight... can only pray for him, so maybe he finally gets some attention in life...and really hope he gets the services of a certified shrink asap.

I read the comments posted here and I just laff hard; sometimes cos they're interestingly funny and other times, cos they're plain unreasonable. Firstly, I think no one has the right to call anyone ugly...unless of course, the person has the ability to create humans(fine ones at that). I'm not trying to say I'm innocent of the offense; no I'm not, I've found myself saying people aren't fine enough, and each time, such thoughts are greeted with remorse. If someone isn't fine enough by your standards, what about the other person's standards? Its not like d world sees through your "crystal clear" eyes. What isn't gud for you may ne perfect 4 another. And yes, "this is a thread, its a free world, you can say whatever you feel"...but please, don't forget to let us know how u feel when someone calls your "wonderful self" ugly. Again, I thought this was a BBA UPDATE and DISCUSSION thread? Can we all (yes, me too) please stop derailing and have fun?

spade: Sorry boss, let's not push it. Let's not even push it..

Which Beverly? The same one wey dey sieze every opportunity to talk craap about Nigeria?
The same one wey openly talk say Nigerians are generally kidnappers?
The same one wey no even fit exercise self-respect by getting the phuck out of Bimp's bed, and instead choosing to throw herself at him, knowing he was engaged?
Is that the Beverly you're talking about?

I'm angry at Melvin for the yeye show he put up tonight and the time he wasted only to do something we already expected; but if it comes to who has sold Nigeria better? Then MELVIN TaKES THAT!

Melvin has managed to win the loyalty of Sierra Leone (he saved Bolt while Beverly constantly nominated him despite WA alliance), Namibia, and recently Ghana.

Beverly only has the support of Namibia but if she's up against Melvin, they're definitely voting him and not her!

Annabel, Feza, Cleo, Bolt, Dillish, Bimp, Motamma, Elikem, Selly, Huddah and Sulu have also spoken glowingly of how different he is from the usual loud, arrogant, obnoxious and aggressive stereotype they have of Nigerians!

Melvin has been asked about problems currently on our country's back (Boko Haram, Occupy Nigeria, etc) by the housemates and he has managed to intelligently answer them while erasing whatever negative preconceived notions they might have had!

Beverly on the other hand, runs her mouth without wisdom, producing countless cringeworthy moments, so please, spare me that story of yours.
God bless who posted this...its d best post I've read since joining on here! With regard to melvin's "dullness" in d diary room...I think its all antics and strategy.
