Let me shed more light on that. Here in the US, racism is very much alive. Generally speaking, white people hate black people. They literally see every black person as a criminal until they get to know you personally and see that you are not dangerous but rather a normal human being with a different skin color.

When they are going on the sidewalk and they see a black man coming on the same route, they would cross to the other sidewalk across the road just because they don’t want to meet a black person. They would try as much as they can just to avoid a black man if they happen to meet in a public space.

When you happen to go to a white neighborhood for whatever reason as a black man, every white person in sight would be looking at your suspiciously like you are there for a sinister motive. Many blacks have had 911 called on them for that reason only for police to come and realize that you are their for a good reason and even maybe you just got a home there.

When they meet you in the elevator as a black man. Being there alone in the elevator with you literally makes them panic like you are a sort of danger. Of course you will see it in their body language.

They still call black People nigger. I used to love oyinbo people so much until I got here and I realized that oyinbo people generally hate blacks. I’m not saying there are no good whites amongst them. Just using a generally terms that implies most of them. Of course I have a good number of white friends both male and females that we are all cool with each other with mutual respect. But that does not erase the fact that most white people are racists.

I agree with the op 100%. If anyone asked why are Mexicans fleeing to the US? I am in the US and based on my own opinion and experience. Virtually all Mexicans and South America’s fleeing across the US boarder don’t have good education. Hence they find it difficult to survive in Mexico doing menial jobs when doing the same menial jobs in the US gives them an edge. The Op is educated. He teaches English in a good school according to him. This is what gave him an edge over Mexicans because it’s very hard to see a Mexican that speaks English unless he grew up in the US or has been there a long time. Most of them don’t speak English. You are still not getting my point. I say it again, there were no Palestinians in history before 1900. What you quoted up here supported my analysis more than yours. It’s even a record of 1900s. It even says that there was never an Arab country called Palestine that it’s a myth. Yes, the Romans named a vast region Palestine. Palestine as named by the Romans was not limited to the small Palestine of today. It included part of Egypt, Syria, Jordan and even the ancient Israel itself.

Palestine as created by the Romans was inhabited by different nationalities answering to their national identity. There was an all inclusive region with different countries in it called Palestine. But there were no people calling themselves Palestinians. There were no Palestinians. Palestinian is a modern propaganda invention.

As a result, so many young Americans are addicted to drugs. US has a labor policy whereby you cannot be hired if you are a drug user. They get to know that through the medical you will undergo before you are employed. If you are positive to using drugs, no one employs you. So if you don’t have a job because of your addiction to drugs, then you can’t pay your rent and you end up on the street. That’s the problem most homeless are facing except the ones that desire to be taken in for rehabilitation and get clean.

Secondly, most homeless people have problem with the law. They have criminal records. That’s the worst thing that can happen to a young man in the US, having a criminal record. Before any employer hires you, you have to pass through a background check about your criminal history, if you have any criminal record, then you are not hired. Some of them would go back to crime. If you cannot get a job because of your criminal history, then you can’t pay your rent and end up on the street.

I have hardly seen a homeless person with non of those two problems.

Only very few homeless have a different reason for his homelessness.

Those are the two problems majority of the homeless are facing. If you don’t believe, come to the US and commit crimes or be a drug addict and see how you will ever get a good job. Employers don’t employ people with such problems or criminal record. Some that manage to get a job with criminal record are unable to earn enough to be able to pay their rent.

First of all, tell me where you live before I school you on reasons why there are many homeless people in the US. I live in the US, I have volunteered and worked with the homeless. I think I know more than you do about why they are homeless and the cause of their homeless.
