I jst want to comment on this issue of naruto and shikamaru. Let's turn d table around for a second. Imagine shikamaru facing pain with intel, konoha wouldn't av bin destroyed to dat level, he'll assign shinobi's to deal with each pain's path depending on dier abilities, and naruto couldn't av come up wit a better plan to deal wit hidan.
And finally because naruto fought and defeated pain(witout much preparation) and shikamaru defeated hidan( with preparation) doesn't make naruto d almighty. Naruto fought pain 2wice, wen pain was @ 30% naruto/kurama won, but wen pain was endo sensei'd he defeated both naruto and killer B, naruto was wyning like he'd neva faced him b4 (all tanks to itachi wu saved both dier a55e5).
