The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, will on Monday pay a one-day working visit to Ghana. Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama will welcome his West African neighbour at the Golden Jubilee Lounge. Buhari and Mahama are expected to cement the long standing relationship between Ghana and Nigeria as well as discuss security issues. It is, however, unclear if the petition to Buhari by the opposition New Patriotic Party on the need for a new voters’ register ahead of the 2016 elections will come up during the ex-military ruler’s visit. Buhari, a former Nigerian army general who first won power three decades ago in a military coup, snatched a historic presidential election victory over rival Goodluck Jonathan in March. He becomes the first opposition leader to beat an incumbent president. http://mobile.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/Nigeria-s-Buhari-in-Ghana-Monday-380058 lalasticlala

Femi Aribisala makes me laugh, he has forgotten when association of witches and wizardw support Oga Jo for re-election . it's either Femi Aribisala watches too much Nollywood, horror movie or he is wizard if not how did he knows almost everything about Witchcraft. The writer should please let their witchcraft stay in PDP not Nigeria at large. Nigeria is known for peace not witchcraft , whatever witchcraft support is evil . Witchcraft support PDP which makes them evil. Thank God Nigerians reject evil/PDP |

An Ajegunle Customary Court has been told to separate Mrs. Rukayat Jimoh and her husband, Mr. Jimoh. Mrs. Jimoh, a trader and mother of two, Amidat, 4 years, and Abdulahi, 7 months, pleaded with the court to dissolve her marriage alleging that her husband never paid her bride price nor was he taking good care of her and the children. “He drinks to stupor, often beats me without provocation and does not pay the children’s school fees”, she said. The petitioner alleged that there was no love lost in the marriage and pleaded with the court to grant her custody of the children. … My wife is a thief – Husband Meanwhile, Mrs. Morufat Rabiu, dragged to the court, was accused by her husband, Mr. Oladipupo Rabiu, of always stealing his money and engaging in fight with co-tenants and himself. The respondent, on her part, alleged that her husband was a pathological liar. She said the husband wanted the dissolution of the marriage because he got a new wife and so wanted to send her packing. “I still love my husband”, Morufat confessed to the court. Meanwhile, the presiding judge, Mrs. V.O. Sanni, advised the couple to make peace, asking the petitioner to forgive his wife and settle things amicably. At the same court, Mrs. Rashidat Salaudeen, a trader and mother of four, pleaded for the dissolution of her marriage of 20 years to Mr. Moshood Salaudeen. She said she was seeking divorce because her husband had been unemployed for the past three years and therefore could not fulfill his obligations as father and head of the family including taking care of the children. Rashidat said she had been playing the role of bread winner in the marriage. The court president, Sanni, told the couple to think over the relationship, adding that the court was more interested in them resolving their differences than separating them. Another trader and mother of one, Mrs. Tawakalitu Waheed, said she was seeking divorce from her three-year-old marriage to Mr. Olarewaju Waheed on the grounds of irresponsible conduct. “He does not pay any bills. I am the one paying for everything, yet he accuses me of using my concubines money to prepare meals for the family”, she said, adding, “Based on that false charge, he stopped eating the food I prepare.” The matter was adjourned till September 8, to enable the respondent be present in court. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/my-wife-is-a-thief-husband/ lalasticlala

seunmsg:@bolded, you are wrong on this, it has become norm for wailers to wail, so they will always wail not matter what Buhari is doing. If not pre-declaration of asset they wail , post declaration wailing continue. They claim he did not declare all his asset as if they were there when Buhari was acquiring them. They have forgotten that an Ex-Presi "Does not give a damn" about asset declaration. |
This remind me of Ex-President that does not give a damn about declaring his asset. God Bless Nigeria |

The Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri, has struck out the case filed by Chief Emeka Ihedioha, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State, challenging the dismissal of his petition by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal. Ihedioha was challenging the declaration of Chief Rochas Okorocha of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as governor of Imo State. In his ruling yesterday, chairman of the Appeal Panel, Justice Jimmy Bada, said the case was dismissed on grounds of improper service of summons on the respondents, whose addresses were not properly listed. But Ihedioha, in his reaction sent by his media assistant, Chibuike Onyeukwu, said he would approach the Supreme Court for redress. Similarly, Okorocha, in a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, said the judgement had upheld justice and respected the popular and lawful actions of the people over who would govern them at any given time. He also commended Ihedioha for exercising his rights, adding that the legal actions were designed “to strengthen our democracy.” http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/politics/okorocha-defeats-ihedioha-at-appeal-court/109342.html lalasticlala |

Two Nigerian nationals are charged over the alleged importation of more than 40 kilograms of methamphetamine, brought into Australia concealed inside bar fridges and Jackie Chan-branded DVD players. Two Nigerian nationals have been charged over the alleged importation of more than 40 kilograms of methamphetamine, brought into Australia concealed inside bar fridges and Jackie Chan-branded DVD players. Chibuike Anyasor, 33, and Joe Iwuchukwu Odemegwo, 51, were arrested on Thursday afternoon by officers from Taskforce Icarus, a joint operation between the AFP, Border Force and Victoria Police tackling the importation of drugs by post and other methods. The pair appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today. Ansayor, described by police as a key figure in the drug importation syndicate, was charged with importing and attempting to possess methamphetamine. Odemegwo was charged with attempting to possess a commercial quantity of methamphetamine. If found guilty they face a maximum penalty of life imprisonment. The court heard that Anyasor and Odemegwo were under investigation for six months and that police had obtained extensive telephone intercepts during that time. Many of the intercepted calls were all in the Igbo language, predominantly spoken by people in the south-east of Nigeria. The court was told there were only two accredited Igbo translators in Australia and that both of them were living in Adelaide, on students visas, which meant they could only work for 20 hours a week. AFP Deputy Commissioner Operations Leanne Close said offenders who imported methamphetamine into Australia would face the full force of the law. "Law enforcement and border protection agencies will continue to work together to target organised crime syndicates who seek to compromise our communities with this dangerous and insidious drug," Deputy Commissioner Close said. "These arrests are a significant disruption to this syndicate. Our capabilities to detect and disrupt organised crime continue to grow, and we will not slow our efforts to remove this scourge from our streets." The two men were remanded into custody until a committal mention on December 11. http://m.radioaustralia.net.au/international/2015-09-04/melbourne-pair-arrested-over-ice-imported-in-fridges-and-jackie-chanbranded-dvd-players/1489596 lalasticlala |

Most of the stolen fund were during PDP 16 years of ruling Nigeria. During those period Olisa Metuh (PDP) never question them rather he absolve them with open hand. Meaning, if PDP continue to rule Nigeria then all the public fund will be stolen without fear |
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the former and serving governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of corruption, alleging that they financed President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign with “stolen funds.” The party said this had created a system that is neck deep in corruption while the government hoodwinks unsuspecting public with propaganda. A statement by PDP national publicity secretary, Olisa Metuh yesterday, said while the party was not averse to the fight against corruption, the APC-led federal government should wage a credible and holistic anti-corruption war by first purging itself of “unclean” association and coming out clear on alleged sleazes already going on in government quarters since it took office on May 29. “Despite the ‘holier-than-thou’ posture of the present APC government, there is an incontrovertible evidence that grave corrupt practices are ongoing and allowed to fester by associates and cronies of government, including former and present APC governors and others who played major roles in financing his campaigns with stolen state funds. “Furthermore, we wish to draw the attention of all Nigerians to the fact that this administration, for obvious reasons, has deliberately turned a blind eye to the corrupt acts of most APC leaders, who as governors, ministers and labour leaders have been the worst corrupt set of people ever to bestride the political landscape of the country,” the statement said. Responding, the APC national publicity secretary, Lai Mohammed, said, “these are wild and unsubstantiated allegations. Uncoordinated and a rehash of what PDP has been saying in the last three months. Rabble rousing at its worst.” http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/politics/buhari-s-campaign-financed-with-stolen-funds-pdp/109343.html lalasticlala |
Great opportunity for High Chief Raymond Dokpesi to pay some of his AIT staff that are being owed 17 months salary. |
Efforts by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to mop up its aggrieved and disgruntled members across the country through the newly introduced electronic registration of members with a view to repositioning the party, suffered a great set back on Wednesday, following the outright rejection of the N1000 registration levy imposed on each member. The pilot phase of the e-registration exercise scheduled to commence in Edo State on Wednesday, failed to take off, as some of the party members protested the proposed N1000 registration fee. It would be recalled that the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisa Metuh, had on 23 August, announced that the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, had approved the resuscitation of the online registration of its member, using Edo state as pilot for the project. According to the party’s NWC, the project which is to be handled by the PDP’s e-Membership Registration Committee, headed by Mr. Raymond Dokpesi, was aimed at returning ownership of the party to its members and strengthening the various structures of the party. At a meeting held at the Edo state secretariat located along Sapele Road, Dokpesi explained that the e-membership registration cards to be issued to the party members would capture their bio-metric information, including bank details. He also disclosed that a total of 250 machines had been deployed for the exercise in Edo North Senatorial District where the project was to kick off, to ensure that the PDP registered as many members as were willing to join its fold, adding that, the party would engage the services of the local government and ward chairmen to make the project effective. “In the far north of Weppa-Wanno, I think we have been sensitising the people and, as of today, all the women that are on the register have been so sensitised and have actually been paying into Skye Bank for this e-registration. It’s N1,000. “If you like you, you can pay the N1,000 by your debit card. If you like, you can do it by transfer from whichever bank that is based in Nigeria, details of which will be provided,” Dokpesi announced. The announcement was however greeted with murmuring among the party members present at the meeting, expressing their unwillingness to pay for the registration. One of the party members in Oredo Local Government Area who preferred anonymity, described the fee as expensive, adding that, bulk of the party supporters reside in the rural areas. “That fee is too much for many of us. I do not expect a market woman or farmer, who earns little, to pay that amount just to be a member,” he added. The acting National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, however told journalists at the end of the meeting that the party would work out details of the procedures for the exercise, noting that, the party had resolved to carry out a digital reform in order to re-position it as a national political party. “The most important thing is that everybody has accepted, they have agreed that we must migrate from analogue to digital. In digital, we are able to access everybody. And the people at the local level, through their handsets, can access us on two-way interaction and this is the way the world is today. “INEC has been reformed, the political parties must be reformed, our party must be reformed. We must comply digitally and that is why we are here to interact with our members. “The party will now belong to all. As long as you register, you are a member of the party and you have equal rights,” Secondus said. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/09/02/pdp-e-registration-suffers-setback-members-kick-against-n1000-levy/ lalasticlala |

All Fayose knows how to do is poke nose in Buhari affairs during pre-election and post-election. |
Former Presidential Adviser on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, has faulted Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose who said the office of national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) be conceded to the South-West. Governor Fayose reportedly called on chieftains of the erstwhile ruling party from the zone to indicate interest in the office ahead of the national convention slated for March, 2016. The Acting National Chairman, Uche Secondus hails from Rivers state in the South-south. But speaking with newsmen yesterday at the national secretariat in Abuja, Gulak said Fayose’s submission was at variance with the PDP constitution. The former governorship aspirant in Adamawa State noted that it was clearly stipulated in the constitution that in the event of the resignation of the chairman, a replacement must come from the zone of the last occupant. Former Bauchi State governor Adamu Muazu, was the immediate past national chairman. Gulak said: “As a dedicated, sincere member, I know that there is vacancy. “The former national chairman resigned and by virtue of our constitution, a replacement must come from his zone in order to adhere strictly to the constitution of the PDP. “But at a separate session with newsmen, Prof Wale Oladipo and Victor Kwom, PDP National Secretary and Legal Adviser, respectively, said the position of national chairman was not vacant. Prof Oladipo dismissed Gulak’s submission that Secondus’ tenure had elapsed as he noted that it was not time barred. “ I am not aware of any vacancy in the chairmanship seat. There is an acting chairman and the party is waiting for the report of the Senator Ike Ekweremadu committee before the decision to appoint a replacement as the national chairman,” he said. “PDP is always guided by two major documents, one the country’s constitution and then the party’s constitution. “Concerning the office of the national chairman I think there are clear Constitutional provisions , I am not aware of any vacancy. “PDP is a party that follows the provisions of its Constitution to the letter. We are aware of the circumstances under which the acting national chairman assumed office. “When the then national Chairman resigned, Chief Uche Secondus was asked to step in and act in line with the party’s constitution particularly section 45 which says that when the chairman resigns, the deputy national chairman will assume office pending the appointment of another chairman. “There are relevant sections of the PDP constitution (section 47 subsection 6) which empowers NEC to convene and appoint a replacement at the instance of the NWC.” “But there are no time limit provided in the constitution within which the acting chairman is expected to serve. It is only the prerogative of the party leadership to decide when to choose someone from the appropriate zone to effect the replacement. But like I said there is actually no time limit under section 47 subsection 2.” http://sunnewsonline.com/new/fayose-ignorant-on-pdp-constitution-gulak lalasticlala |
