Did Tinubu consult with Osinbajo, the sitting VP before his declaration so they could all be on the same page? Their party will decide. Osinbajo showed loyalty as a VP, something Atiku openly failed to do with Obasanjo, yet many Atikulated with glee. Osinbajo served Tinubu who spotted his qualities, let the party and Nigerians determine their preference. The election is for Nigeria, not Tinubu's structure. No disrespect to Tinubu, who sentiment aside, is more than capable also. Their loyalty matter is their problem, we don't know the full story around their relationship.

Definitely not true. Tinubu gave Oshinbajo to Buhari as part of merger agreement. Because Tinubu would have run with Buhari in 2015. It was to avoid religious sentiments. Oshinbajo is bloody opportunistic person. He knew he didn’t deserve to be there if not for Tinubu. That’s the betrayal. If that betrayal is in the character then he will not run well over the leadership of this country. The betrayal will haunt him even if he wins the presidency. Already Nigeria is still suffering from the betrayal and death of Abiola. We don’t want further misfortune in Nigeria.

If Oshinbajo could backstab Tinubu and is disloyal, there’s no moral justification for him to rule Nigeria. He has no moral integrity and he would destroy Nigeria with his lack of morality. Secondly, he is part of the failure of Buhari’s government. He is in charge of economy under this government, and the economy has failed. So on those two reasons he has no reason to lead Nigeria.

I don’t think Buhari will be able to sell any candidate now because his influence is waning due to poor performance on security and economy. That’s why a few governors opposed his choice of chairman candidate but mellowed down to prevent disunity in APC. With presidential primary, Buhari cannot wield his power and influence. The party will just collapse. The only thing that can ensure the unity of the party after primary is for the losers to see with korokoro eyes that they have been beaten blue and black by the winner. Any other option will spell doom for APC.

Now you will need to do your homework on those questions. The first pointer as to the effects of his policies is that right now, Lagos is the fifth largest economy in Africa. Second pointer is that other States have been coming to Lagos to understudy the revenue generation strategy of the government. Yes there was very little development before he came in. Increasing IGR and creating those agencies meant thousands of street cleaners were employed and paid salary. Thousands were employed as teachers and many more employment opportunities created in other sectors. The refinery is going to engage over 20,000 people. Jakande’s visible achievement was in building more schools and low cost houses. He did not not increase IGR like Tinubu. Tinubu made Lagos the first self-sufficient state in Nigeria. He is a creator of leaders, many of whom have served their people in various states in Nigeria. He met Lagos the dirtiest capital city in the world and now to an average clean city because of the creation of LAWMA. The transportation business has improved in Lagos. Urban slums like Oshodi are no more slums. He brought in Enron to provide electricity to Lagos but was shut down by federal government for fear that Lagos will develop too quickly and leave other states behind, and because electricity is in the exclusive legislative list, if you know what that means. He wanted to continue with light rail but was frustrated by PDP government at centre.
In summary, Lagos population consists of all tribes in Nigeria, and it’s 10% of Nigerian population. Before he came in as Governor, population was 6 million, now over 20 million. They need jobs, education, and other services, yet Lagos is catering for all of them. Workers salary in Lagos state is higher than that of federal workers. No salary ever owed by government of Lagos. Can you for once in your life be honest and tell me which state in Nigeria has grown as fast as Lagos in development in the last 20 years? If Lagos is not able to cater for the 10% of Nigeria’s population, what do you think would happen? Those people will return to their states and become a burden on their governors. Therefore, Lagos is the big brother for all other states in Nigeria. It is the best managed state in Nigeria. One well-known PDP politician stated recently that Lagos is now on autopilot. Bring a zombie to rule over Lagos and it will continue to develop because a template has been laid down and structures created for development. Is there any other state on autopilot in Nigeria? If there was no obstruction from enemy federal government, Lagos would be very close to Dubai in development by now.

Look! I have told you a few already, but you keep asking as if you did not digest the answer. I told you that he laid the foundation for the develop of Lagos. He laid the template for others to follow after him. He increased IGR from less than 40 billion to over 100 billion and its increasing every year. He created Eko Atlantic city and Lekki Free Trade zone where Dangote has established his refinery. He created LASTMA, LAWMA and other agencies. He automated many of the civil service processes. He fought Obasanjo to a standstill to create more LGAs. As a result, Obasanjo stopped revenue to Lagos for 4 years. Lagos survived those 4 years without federal revenue. That’s first time event in NIGERIA. His cabinet was full of highly cerebral people, many of whom became governors and even Vice President today. He fought federal government for fiscal resource control, Oshinbajo fought federal government at Supreme Court as Attorney General of Lagos State then. He placed people from various ethnic groups in his cabinet which was also a first in Nigeria. So many more achievements. Now I have just given you some hints. You need to go and do your homework to get more details. If any of these developments have not helped Nigeria, then something must be wrong with your thinking ability.

If your problem is how to move Nigeria forward, we are assuring you that Tinubu has done it successfully in Lagos before. But you don’t want to listen. That’s why I think the problem is tribal hatred, not absence if good leaders.

I am afraid no psychiatrist in his right mind would affirm any of what you claim there and this because there is no set mental disciplines box to tick where personalities are concerned. Mental discipline is a choice to be made by individuals.

None of these talk about their speech and character of the speech. I never mentioned psychiatrist to you. Psychologists and philosophers are the ones I mentioned. And I maintain that a garrulous person does not usually produce the best mental discipline. Your brain should control your speech if you want mental discipline.

Below is a layman's take on mental discipline to maybe help you see that that problem isn't of spiritual bullsheet but because you fail to discipline yourself into making the right decisions.

What exactly do you mean by mental discipline? Is it any mental discipline to talk at length everyday to a married lady? You mentioned Buddhist monks, do you see them talking all the time? Do you realise that part of mental discipline is to be brief and direct and not talk all the time? If you do that, would you develop emotional attachment to a lady?

No matter the level of mental maturity, the emotional vulnerability is the most important. That aspect has some spiritual component to it which is intangible. The most brilliant people with emotional intelligence fall prey to this game. Best is to avoid it.
